They are indeed very good. The mix of contemporary and Zouk was done a very sensible way, maintaining essential elements of the current trend of Brazilian Zouk dance.

I cannot agree however with your comparison with Mafie.

This is like comparing Apples and Bananas. They are two completely different styles and interpretations.

Unless of course you meant to say you *preffer* Leo's style - which is obviously fine :)

My comparison was not based on style, but on technique and appearel.

Mafie uses studied combinations, and has a style that doesnt look like Lambada and Zouk anymore. Thereby he repeatedly dances on 5 or uses no steps at all.

When i see Leonardo and Layssa dance i see mosly zouk and lambada, mixed with some contemporary for the show element. Both of them are excellent in timing and strong in their basic. So i preffer not only their style, but also their technique, countings, steps etc!
