i have this PC and its running good with windows 7 but i want to hackintosh it... anyne done it on this model type of eMachines??? if so pleeezz email me k :D
well the desktops kind of suck because the stock parts sometimes fail. I had 2 computers that were both T models like this one and both power supplies failed and ruined both motherboards.... if i would have replaced the power supplies they would still be working fine. Now i have an emachines e725 laptop with windows 7 and it is a great computer so far, Plus i got it on sale at walmart for only $298!!
Hey look if you find the time, I am having an issue with my computer, (the same as this one) can you send me well light pic's of the inside to my e-mail? My problem is that when I re-assembled it, the back ports for usb, vga etc do not work.
Damn you have the worst timing, lol. I just gave this PC to my brother yesterday. I can give you pics that I have right now, but it will take a little longer to take pics of specific parts of the PC.
An AMD Sempron CPU is the equivalent of the Intel Celeron CPU. The AMD Opteron CPU is a server CPU. It does need more RAM, fortunately she's got a brand new bad-ass PC :D
another thing...read the newspapers ATi sucks..they failed BIG TIME with the new core that Nvidia made and works perfectly...they copy it and failed...they lost so much money..
Who reads newspapers anymore, lol. I am not going to give up on ATi just because they failed at something. Every ATi product I own has worked wonderfully. ATi may not work as perfectly as Nvidia for gaming, but the cost to performance is hard for me to ignore. The performance between Nvidia and ATi is too nominal to justify buying an Nvidia card which is more expensive.
u guys wanna no somethin funny? EMACHINES SUCK!!!!! mine crashes like every day and we eliminate all viruses and we've wiped out the files about 5...6..28 times.and it still crashes. i hate this so go sell this computer before u go crazy
I have the original video driver and i play css, and if i wanted to update the driver what should i do cause i don't really know so much about that kind of stuff!
Sure you can upgrade you drivers. Make sure you back up the old drivers just in case you don't like what the new drivers do for your system. Overall, the new drivers should improve your system.
Oh yeah, but you have to upgrade just about any name brand PC. It's a default that you need to upgrade the video card and the RAM. I could just upgrade her video card, but it still has a single core CPU and 1GB RAM. It's just better to overhaul her entire system.
eMachine PCs do suck, lol. This was the best one for the price, and it works great for her. This PC is more than enough for her uses. I really want to build another PC. So it's a good excuse to get new PC parts to build. The new one I want to build will make her fall in love with PCs I hope, lol.
Yeah, because then you can create it however you want and you get to choose everything it can hold or how it is. That's a great accomplishment indeed.
Yeah because everything has to be assembled in a certain way or it's gonna get all screwy, but building yours is just worth it. Are you gonna build your own?
LMAO, yeah an eMachince. It was a really great price at the time, 260 bucks. It does everything my girlfriend needs it to do. I am going to build her a new PC when I get the money. It's going to be sweet. She finally chose a case. The Zalman GS1000. It's going to be much faster, and gaming quality than the eMachine.
Looks like good parts to me. The 8800GTS is considered a little old, but games still run very well on it. I don't know how much it costs, but I am definitely sure it's a very good price for the performance you can get out of it. The CPU is very awesome. I think it's great with it's stock clock speeds, but of course users get that CPU to overclock. Very fast, and has got to have the best value of any CPU on the market right now. Good choices man :)
You should make a video. There aren't many small form factor PCs on YouTube. The parts you have look like you could play most games with it. Maybe not with all settings maxed out, but it should still play with descent framerate.
lol yea im looking for a new mouse now. My current mouse is some logitech optical with only 1000dpi i dont think its even made for gaming lol. Cant decide what to get though
I would suggest anything made by Logitech or Razer. If you have big hands, Logitech is best. If you like pretty lights on a mouse, Razer is for you. Saitek is ok, I haven't read any reviews about any of those mouses, you might want to research those yourself. I hope you find the one you like.
I like the way the MX518 feels in my hand, just like my G5. The G9 looks like it's designed for more of a claw grip than a palm grip. I really like the G9's DPI rate. I am currently using my G5 at 1600 DPI, and it is starting to feel a little sluggish.

Wow, those are nice parts. I keep seeing that CPU cooler on YouTube vids. How well does that cooler work for you? How much was all of that stuff? I definitely didn't want to spend a whole lot of cash, plus I love AMD and ATi. It just happened that those two manufacturers are cheaper priced, but still gives great quality. Please make a vid soon, I'll subscribe.
eMachines W3644 Refurbished AMD Desktop Computer - AMD Sempron LE-1200 2.1GHz, 1GB DDR2, 160GB SATA II, DVDRW, NVIDIA GeForce 6100, Windows XP Home should I im not good with taking out Ram and puttin more in, or GFX card, i like playing games it this gppd for me with out editing the hardware?
I think it's fine if you're playing older games like Unreal Tournament 2004, or Call Of Duty, maybe Call of Duty 2. For games like UT3, CoD4MW, Crysis, this may not be the choice for you. If you're not looking to upgrade your PC, I would suggest buying a better PC. Overkill in your case should be your target. I don't know how much you have to spend, but 400-600 bucks can get you a descent PC. Nothing stellar, but will play games on low graphics settings.
ok, sound nice have you purchase your pc desktop from tigerdirect? do you think i would be able to play halo one on it, do her pc lags?, have she/you ever had any problems with it. how much the pc you have costed, how long you had it?, how long is boot up Im asking all this because i want to make sure its a good buy. btw you been very help so far and a quick reply, thank for that :)
I haven't bought a PC on TigerDirect. If you're palying the first Halo, yes it should work. If it's Halo 2, no it will not work. The PC works great for her. No problems so far. It's not very fast, but it's a single core Sempron CPU. It plays the games she likes, UT, UT2004, Bejeweled2. The PC was 260 bucks from a local PC store. We've had it for two years. It takes 1 min. to boot up. In my opinion, I do not think this PC will work for you. I think you might regret the purchase.
Well I said that Halo2 won't work with that PC because the game only works on Vista. I don't think the PC is fast enough for gaming. I would look for either a very fast single core CPU, 2.6-3GHz, or a dual core CPU 2.4-3GHz. The faster the better. It's hard to find the right combination of parts in a pre-built PC for a low price. How much are you looking to spend??? I might be able to research and give you some ideas.
What are your PC specs??? You may just need to add to your PC. Even if you have to upgrade, you may just need basic parts for a new PC, and then just add them from the PC you have now.
Damn. 450 dollars is just outside of the range of an affordable PC. I've been looking at websites, playing with part configurations, and I just can't get a setup that's less than 500-600 bucks. You might just have to go with a low cost name brand PC, and add a video card to it. Find a low cost Vista PC with 2GB of RAM, and then get the ATi 3650. It costs a little over 100 bucks, but it's got the best cost/performance ratio. I would probably wait until you get another 100 bucks or so.
cost nearly 2.5K That cooling is aweome zalman cooling is one of the best i have seen. Reason i went with intel is because it always gets the higher benchmarks. I dont have a webcam or anythins so i cant make a video lol but i do have a pic
Hey i was wondering if the video card in your GF PC is AGP or PCIxE,
If it is AGP
I would have gone with the ATI HIS X1650GT 512MB GDDR3 128Bits IceQ.
I have that video card but dont ever used it and still new in the box. I was going to add it to the GF PC but I just went out and got the 3850HD 1GB 512MB GDDR3 turbox3
It's an PCI-E card, but I'm going to be building her a new PC as soon as I have the cash. I'm planning to give her the video card that is in my new gaming PC right now, HD3870.
Pretty cool, right now at the moment I am building my fiance a gaming pc, I am going to hook it so nice I am going to do the same style just like my pc but a little better in tower style.
It's actually a pretty nice name brand PC, it's just that the video card and RAM had to get upgraded to realize the PCs full potential. The PC alone, only cost us around 260 bucks.
That's good. Having a dual core will give you PC longer legs when it comes to being able to run dual core ready games. I'm not saying that it will run perfectly but it should.
I have never had a problem with static discharge on any surface. I do intentionally touch a body part onto the case and leave it there as much as possible. It's just not worth getting stressed out because I didn't discharge myself, I'll just call myself an idiot, and buy another part, lol.
Actually she wants to build her own with my help. She wants me to teach her all of the parts she'll need, and then she will do it. We just don't have the money, and she's never in the mood for me you teach her anything yet. You know women, LOL. On top of that she is very picky about the case, she doesn't like anything that is out right now.
She actually hates "girly" colors. She likes black, silver, gray, and especially red. She told me the other day after I told her I made this video, that she really only cares about the way the case looks. The inerts of the PC she couldn't care less about which actually makes me happy :) I have the freedom to research and develop a bad ass system for her. Not as bad ass as mine of course ;)
Thats pretty cool! If shes not overclocking or gaming I would get a Intel board, they are solid and really stable, they just dont oc very well. As for the case look at the NZXT. Alpha Black, NZXT. BlackLine or any NZXT, Raidmax, thermaltake cause they make badass looking cases.
Since I like AMD so much, I just don't have any attraction to getting an Intel board. There is no reason why I don't, Intel is pretty cool, especially that Q6600, I think but for me, I'm going to stick with AMD. I have been thinking of going with an Nvidia card just to see what the deal is with an Nvidia card since I've never owned one.

I have been thinking of going with an Nvidia card just to see what the deal is with an Nvidia card since I've never owned one.
