Air philippines will suspend its Ozamiz-Manila operation starting June 15, 2009. PAL wil take over to compete with Cebu Pacific Air on June 16 for direct Ozamiz-Manila flight. Both Airlines will use Airbus 319. Lets hope Airphil will return to ozamiz with newer planes

This runway has been extended and widened already. Expect Airbus 319 of Cebu Pacific Air to start Ozamiz-Manila flights early 2009. Air Phils is using B737-300 for its Ozamiz-Manila flights due to increasing number of passengers/cargoes. They are retiring their B737-200 fleet now.

Hanjin corp of South Korea was disqualified sa last April 2008 bidding coz its 100% foreign owned. Sa Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) scheme, Dapat kuno 60% Filipino, 40% foreign owned ang company. Nagrevise pud sila sa costing ug budget sa bridge. I believe, this project will still push through..Top priority man sa National gov't ang Panguil Bay bridge accdg to NEDA and DPWH. Ma-delay lang jud. Lets hope & pray nga madayon ang bridge in the coming months.

ozamiz-cebu flights via PAL express will begin in june 23, 2008. Cebu pacific air people already inspected Ozamiz airport for a possible Manila flight soon.
