@goldeneagle469 Im like you, I want answers. I know that Vesta did not kill herself. She was so happy that her career was starting to take off. She sent us her new video on FB and told us to buy it. Its really crazy. Another guest at the hotel said, that a man walked in with her and then left. The guest said the El Segundo police waited around two days for the man to come back. Its so crazy and so sad. I love Vesta and I did not want her to die. She was so sweet and beautiful. God please help.

Looking at this video, it's so sadly ironic that the Heavenly Father decided to call Vesta Williams, and one of the individuals she was paying tribute to with this performance (Nick Ashford), back home within such short time of each other. They were 2 truly REMARKABLE talents.....each contributing so very much to the music I adore the most, R&B/SOUL! I sincerely pray that both of their souls are at complete rest in God's eternal love. I'll cherish the memories of each of them.........always.

Aaron Hall and Charlie Wilson both sound similar, not exactly alike but similar. Aaron Hall has always been an original with a style all his own. He was influenced by Charlie, and he's always acknowledged that. R. Kelly on the other hand never payed homage respectfully to Guy and Aaron Hall where he got his sound from and his damn look when his ass came out. He bit off of Aaron in every way humanly possible (creepy). We have our opinions and can go on all day, but why? I'm not changing mine.

This was wonderful. Vesta is one baaaaad woman and Aaron has that soul and was a large part of a musical movement. This is what I want; if people claim they are singers, I want you to sing and not try to detract with gimmicks and nonsense. Times have truly changed musically and not for the better in my opinion, but to each his or her own.

I love Vesta! Isn't she also good friends with Jackee Harry? Unfortunately she's another one of those very underrated singers young folks don't know about. I love Vesta on recordings, but live, she is sounds like a real amateur -- as if she has voice problems. She basically shouts her lines and her voice is all power, no pretty. She lacks overtones and resonance, like a reed. But her skin is very pale and beautiful, so I can overlook all the screaming here.

In the 90's, Vesta was probably my favorite singer on records because she was fearless, like Chaka Khan.
