@arcejs87 hey i just insalled avast free 6 and im noticing a bit slow performence on my pc i tried cleaning my temp files asweel as defragmenting my pc but its still makes my pc a bit slow what should i do to make it faster ? it wasent slow with microsoft security essentials
@arcejs87 i think 3 mb i have 4 gb of ram so it not that but i think i just fixed it i uncheked the option to scan when i open documents and everything is now fast :) btw i keep getting attack by a dcom exploit avast 6 blocks it but i think i need a firewall what is the best free firewall i can get ?
Ben avast"s prevention scanner isn't that great but the removal scanner is that fantastic! Try running the boot scanner or create a costume scan with the highest settings? -don't say a product isn't good just because it failed one time

@gameteacher101 how much ram takes u avast? In my pc like 15.000 kb... with firewall and all its shields...
If in ur pc are using more than that maybe u need reinstall...

Comodo Firewall Defense+ (give u a good HIPS protection)... DONT INSTALL COMODO ANTIVIRUS... only firewall with Defense+
Then u have a great free security combo Avast + Comodo Firewall Defense+

I just updated to Avast 6..wow what a pile of crap...its a good program but boy does it make my internet hang.
I uninstalled Avast 6 and installed AVG and my internet is back to opening in under 1 second...Shame Avast is now buggy!!!

well i changed the auto-sandbox setting to ask and it appeared to work just fine.
I tried it with a fake av and i got a prompt to run it sandboxed as it was considered a unsafe application.

COMODO were more successful with their sandbox sense the first release of the sandbox........
Avast now is kinda less secure to users because if you install COMODO sandbox now it's going to conflict with avast sandbox.....

Proves Auto-Sandbox feature as of now is pretty poor.
This should improve over time though.
