my daughter has gsd 3, she suffers from muscle weakness, she's 8 now, will she ever out grow it

Are people who suffer from this disease able to breakdown glycogen to glucosephosphate needed for the glycolysis?

And second, what are the effects of this disease on the diet of the patient and the perspective of metabolism iu general.
