  • Couldn't he find his capo?

  • almost factually the best guitarist of all time, at least from a technical standpoint

  • No one...NO ONE...sounds like this guy. Totally original.

  • The first lead lick, I could spend my life studying and not get 5% close...

  • @Gregrg7 I've got 8 fingers on my left hand and a knuckle span of 18 inches and I managed to get 3% close ;-)

  • @DeadButFeelingBetter and he's playing a ONE Humbucker STRAT with no reverb or delay, 1984 equipment, sounding EXACTLY like his tone today with different gear. TALK About TONE FROM HANDS wow...

  • ah, technology. when the hair scrunchy on the first fret used to be a human job....

  • First time I heard ROAD GAMES I started to study guitar. Then I quit Berkeley and now I'm farmer.

  • fucking awesome

  • everytime I listen to Holdsworth my IQ goes up a bit!

  • I would give serious amounts of body parts to be the one muting his guitar at the start of the video....:D

  • i really wish i knew the name of this song.

  • @46dwades road games

  • @46dwades

    Road games

  • This video probably has the most 80s cheese of anything I've ever seen

  • one of the best

  • To all those who wonder what this fella was doing, he wasn't hired by Allan as human "capo" eclipsemi's assumption is correct, he was muting strings. Nowadays one can buy these muting devices which are mounted on the guitar neck by the headstock. Jennifer Batten uses one, it's called string damper Google up "Jennifer Batten gear" this'll lead to her home page where they're for sale I'm surprised that Allan didn't have one since they're around since '50s

  • @TosiekDegutis not a human CAPO, my friend. A capo (short for capotasto, Italian for "head of fretboard") is a device used on the neck of a stringed (typically fretted) instrument to shorten the playable length of the strings, hence raising the pitch.

all this guy was doing was damping strings. you got that part right.

but the whole Jennifer Batten thing is older than Henry Ford.

people just use a hair scrunchy now just in front of the nut so they can still play the 1st fret.

  • @redneckblacklabel Thank you for the lecture mister "Profesore", by the way, as I can see on your channel, you don't appreciate the beauty of Japanese bassist. Well, you know so much about capo, but you didn't notice that this Japanese beauty is just a guy dressed as a girl

  • Amazing solo but... it sounds SO 80's !!!

  • Joking aside, Paul Williams was really, really great.

  • Why didn't somebody tell that overzealous fan to sit down?!?!!?

  • lol somebody forgot to pack the capo.

  • @eclipseml Wasnt a capo, he was just muting the strings I think!

  • 神や!

  • 0:06 Looks like he got his holds worth on that guitar.

  • fucking troll is even in this video FUCK!!!!

  • I like how he dances when playing the guitar haha.

  • He has that 'crying' sound Larry Carlton has.

  • Timeless brilliance.

  • Timeless.

  • is this a Green Day song ??

  • @bitcheznhos are you high?

  • "Einstein, allan & virgil" - Genious

  • I actually think Chad drummed better back then.

  • eBay Paul's shirt.

  • Insane.

  • Woah, was that a power chord?

  • One of the cleanest players ever!! (I know it's obvious)

  • damn he's good....

  • Very 5150....Eddie Van Halen's hero.

  • @magirecords2004 along with albert lee his to fave guitarists

  • Gotta love the Paul playing the part as a human capo .. the solo after .. blistering!

  • Chad and jimmy always was the best rythm section for allan´s music in my opinion

  • ... and all fan recognize Chad wakerman on drums, and the great Jimmy Johnson on bass.
