@DeadButFeelingBetter and he's playing a ONE Humbucker STRAT with no reverb or delay, 1984 equipment, sounding EXACTLY like his tone today with different gear. TALK About TONE FROM HANDS wow...
To all those who wonder what this fella was doing, he wasn't hired by Allan as human "capo" eclipsemi's assumption is correct, he was muting strings. Nowadays one can buy these muting devices which are mounted on the guitar neck by the headstock. Jennifer Batten uses one, it's called string damper Google up "Jennifer Batten gear" this'll lead to her home page where they're for sale I'm surprised that Allan didn't have one since they're around since '50s
@TosiekDegutis not a human CAPO, my friend. A capo (short for capotasto, Italian for "head of fretboard") is a device used on the neck of a stringed (typically fretted) instrument to shorten the playable length of the strings, hence raising the pitch.
all this guy was doing was damping strings. you got that part right.
but the whole Jennifer Batten thing is older than Henry Ford.
people just use a hair scrunchy now just in front of the nut so they can still play the 1st fret.
@redneckblacklabel Thank you for the lecture mister "Profesore", by the way, as I can see on your channel, you don't appreciate the beauty of Japanese bassist. Well, you know so much about capo, but you didn't notice that this Japanese beauty is just a guy dressed as a girl
Couldn't he find his capo?

@Gregrg7 I've got 8 fingers on my left hand and a knuckle span of 18 inches and I managed to get 3% close ;-)
