  • Thank you for the compliment on the video. You're right. I know about the the combination screwdriver/dis-assembly tool on the scabbard but, in order for me to use it, I'd have to remove the scabbard from my backpack. Plus, I've used Lock-tite on the bolt threads so the allen key wrench is more practical, giving more torque.

  • Nice little kit there, but you might not need to carry the Allen key for pummel removal because there should be a tool on the sheath that allows you do that.

    On the bottom of the sheath there is a metal piece with a slot and metal dowel for the knife to fit onto for cutting wire. Also attached to that is a small metal flat piece that looks like a screwdriver. That is the right size to fit in the pummel bolt and use like a screw driver to remove the pummel.
