  • @AJakaMRjenC Check out our 'Tennis Grips- Beginners Guide video- should help!

  • @intosport how do do a continental grip?

  • got o my duct tape channel

  • What about the feet =\ u forgot to explain how the feet parallel to the line comes in to meet the other feet at an angle with the line :o

  • This reminds me of Thriller

  • FOOT FAULT!!!

  • nice

  • STILL LEARNING A POWER UP SERVE!!!!!!!!

  • I do everything correct! Im just having trouble hitting the ball at the highest possible point!

  • What a stupid fucking thing to say: "The serve is played in every point" no it's not

  • @kawal979 when is it not played?

  • @kawal979 well, tell me what you usually starts a point with??

  • @kawal979 He didn't say that one player performs a serve every point did he?

  • I suck DICK in tennis... its a really fun sport though i wanna get better

  • I Just started highschool this year and have never played tennis once in my life. I tried out for tennis team and it was a two day tryouts and i made the team! ive been on for about 2 months now, when i serve i do a what i call a backscratch position behind my back then throw the ball about 6 inches above my head height then swing up my raket and hit it.

  • I have never played tennis before but planning to start...should I take professional classes or can I just tennis on my own since the classes are pretty expensive where i live ??

  • @mnopqrstuvful depends on how good you want to get.

  • my serves always either go long or in the net which is annoying because the rest of my game is good but i lose tons of points and it gets me down then i start losing :/

  • @TripleJShotzZ I use to have the same problem with my serve, the thing is though you just have to relax and focus on getting it in. Don't try anything fancy, or trying to ace it, just get it into the court so you can get the point going. What I used to do because my serves would suck is would simply face my entire body the direction of the service box I needed to get it into, lightly throw the ball up, and kind of punch it with my racket into the box. The serve was weak but it got in =)

  • no offense the throw should be made with the whole arm instead of the wrist

  • they should make examples for lefthandies like me too

  • Thanks for the tips man!

  • tomorrow i hev a tennis tournament! so.. i think it would be good to watch some tennis tips...

  • i can do a topspin and a back topspin and slices easy but i struggle doing serves

  • That banner on top is really pissing me off -.-

  • Wow that guys really good

  • i just have trouble getting it in the box...

  • @iSwim2100 wellllllllll!!!!!!!!! lol

  • Who is the tallest Tennis player?

  • They tell you all this shit in all the videos but they never tell you where to aim

  • I used to play tennis at david lloyd's all the time :D <3 favourite club.

  • That guy has a BEAUTIFUL serve.

  • @WelcomePie the first part is fine, yes. But the second part looks uninterested. Lame in a way. But that's maybe cause he is not giving it a 100 %.

  • im a biginer and honestly this helped me alot thankyou!!

  • a vyhraj

  • I can get my serve in but if it does go in its slower than i want it to be, do u have any tips on how to make my serve become faster??

  • @tennisfan567 Practice hitting harder serves. Eventually you'll get used to it, and you'll get more of your hard serves in.

  • why? @ 2:18 why should i make it land infront of baseline if i dont hit it?

  • @waspsrugbydude151410 The answer is in your question buddy. Just think and look hard enough.

  • tnx guys for the info!!

really help me now i must to train :)

  • One important thing to point out --- one *has to* bend the knees; otherwise serve does not really work. Everyone in the video is doing that, but the narrator did not mention this most important point.

  • these guys are pretty good actually. i thought it would stink but it was a lot better than expert village :P

  • Great Video. Thanks for the tips is helped considerly

  • Good luck for your try-out tiktokerz- Keep working hard and you will be successful!

  • A tennis lesson? wow! I'm only a beginner and trying to try-out for the upcoming intramural in our school!

  • I take private lessons and these are just the things my coach tells me...but it really helps to see it in slow motion with each of the steps explained. Ya can't do that in an everyday lesson now can ya? :]

  • @themarvelousmuggle That is the great advantage of video skill demonstration. We hope they continue to help you in the future.

  • Yes! Finally, tennis lesson!. I couldn't find them anywhere! I'm subscribing and going to use this video for when I play tennis today!!!

  • Wow, this video is veryyy helpful, my mom is like addicted to this, wanted me to always watch this and shyyt, its annyoing but its really helping me.

  • @Cryssiann Please bide thy cruelties

  • Thanks alot, great video 5 stars

  • @hugobossdb Lazy in moments?- It's called slowmotion. I have explained everything in detail. My videos are also really easy to understand. Nothing is exaggerated. lol

  • u know what this is stupid serve i ever seeen idot

  • @hugobossdb You know nothing about my form. I will upload more tennis videos later. If you want to learn how to play tennis, you can watch the video World Class Tennis (part1/2) and (part2/2). Both videos cover the important things that you have to know about tennis. My two videos are for all levels.

  • omg r u explaining that 2 misses are double faults? Ur wasting everyone's time

if u don't know about tennis rules then serves are probably not the first thing you're looking for on youtube

  • alot of useful tips on this video but i dont think they should be telling things to do exactly in a service motion because the service motion is quite varied in each person. there are many good serving techniques it just depends on what suits you and what you want out of your serve. these two have nice serves but it wont work for everyone.

  • If you want to become a GREAT TENNIS PLAYER (match player), go to my channel: ( 2knowfun2 ) and watch the video: World Class Tennis (Part1/2). I have designed this tennis video in a very unique way and it is for all levels. When you have watched and mastered both my videos (part 1 and part 2), you will become a Great Match Player.

  • dude i thought i would be good @ tennis becuz i wuz beast @ badminton but its exactly opposite. i always curve my hand causing myself to mess up.

  • @damnu93 omg i know. i totally pwn at badminton but not with tennis..

  • I'm going to play tennis next year at my high school, but I also play lacrosse, which is in the same season. My tennis team is a no-cut team so I can do both. If I don't go to any tennis practices and only show up for the matches then, by popular opinion will I do okay at serving?

  • @Dmustaine123 the serve is very hard ? it is very very very hard than it looks like ?

  • @chri095k yeah it is hard. u need to practise a lot to be able serve very well

  • you dont need a video for a lefty.

  • any video for lefty

  • this is good except they never explained the grip part.

anyone who tries this from just watching it will fail

  • I agree the only way to hone your serve is first serve then second serve in that order. Vary speed of first serve (slice and flat and a few hard kicks))and kick and twist the second.

  • this video is good

  • Seriously, I just hope and pray my serves hit inside the service box.

  • @d4n13lr0x lol exactly

  • @d4n13lr0x really? cuz right now, i'm just happy when it gets over the net, LOL.

  • @d4n13lr0x me too lol

  • @d4n13lr0x Heck yeah. My coach makes me do 5 push-ups for every double-fault.

  • @d4n13lr0x hahaha :D youre not the only1..

  • hehcan somebody rescue mehh from my loneliness really bored today

  • is it a problem, when the ball spins, after tossig???

  • very col! you are great! nice video!

  • nice racket and nice placement in serves

  • sexy legs................HAHAHAHa

  • هذا هو نجاح باهر رهيبة جدا ، وأود كثيرا أن تكون قادرة على القيام بذلك

  • I watch this clip like 10.000 times

  • Comment removed

  • @toocaran It's an English accent! Get your accents right.

  • But omg it's not Australian! :O

  • This is gonna help. :)

  • very good !!! two thumbs up !!! clear,& professional , same time , not very easy to find in youtoube tennis lessons :)

  • you dont always have to toss the ball straight up. different serves require different tosses, ex. if you toss the ball a little behind your head , top spins will come out more naturally... try different stuff , see what works out, but its always important to have someone experienced watch over you, otherwise you'll most likely get bad technique from the start, and even if later on you get used to it, smart oponents will find a way to abuse the gaps in your technique , and that could cost you=)

  • Federer tosses the ball in the same spot every time.

  • Good grief dude, I was only makin a suggestion because things don't have to be so complicated, Federer actually tends to keep things fairly simple, which is often over looked. Also if you make such great changes in your toss, opponents will see that and be more prepared than you would want them to be. KISS.

  • why tumbs down? he really does that toss in the same spot every time . :)

  • Mr. Federer does indeed toss the ball in the same spot every serve; e.g. his deception is impeccable. I reference this particular analysis: watch?v=z-qsyPDhPLg

  • Mr. Federer does toss the ball in the same spot every serve; e.g. his deception is impeccable. I must agree with laughingman.

  • where is this

  • Excellent lesson and techniques !!

  • really good lesson :) i realize now that ive not been throwing it high enough, so im never extending to my fullest... and being 6'1, full extension is vital, thanks

  • what does 6"1 have to do specifically with full extension being vital?

full extension is vital for any height

  • yeah i know that, but because im that tall, full extension will enable me to be serving the ball at like 2 metres off the ground... where i havent being doing that before, and i have been hitting the net.

i didnt mean full extension is vital JUST for 6"1 people, i meant it just for me

  • nice, i like it

    goog info

  • Serena forgot to watch this video! very helpful

  • по теме.класс

  • What kind of racket is he using?

  • I think ( but Im a noob haha ) that its a Babolat Pure Drive (Cortex?)

  • YOU ARE CORRECT SIR!!!

  • i think they are all sponsored by babolat

    or these two anyways

the girl is using pure storm

  • babolat

  • babolat

  • If you got sponsorship to do the video, stop doing a sly one and covering your sponsors.

  • Vancouver , BC , Canada

  • haha. a kick serve

  • i wish i had someone to practice tennis with

  • i can practie...with u... but it depends where u live

  • where do u live?

  • san jose,CA

  • oh damn i live in Irvine which is Southern California well if im ever in san jose i will hit you up lol

  • for sure.... !! :)

  • tell you friends to play wiht you

if your in highschool join the team

if your not join the community collage team all ages are allowed

  • yeah i go to community college i should tryout your right

  • no 1 is at good as me at serving!!!

    cause i suck so bad

  • The girl is pretty

  • my serve is BEAST

  • Guy has the same racquet as I do... Babolat pure storm :)

  • It's ok when i do it i have alot of fun tomorrow at central park today i was trying out i think i made it!

  • is that warwick university?

  • easy to say than to do

i do that i even have my signature serve but most of the times the ball hits the net

  • i hav always been one to have a short toss, they're tosses are a bit high, its supposed to be less of a toss and more of a release. :)

  • What part of "How to serve" don't you understand?

  • Theyre serves are good but groundstrokes fail to impresse

  • you spelled "impress" wrong -.-

  • Yeah well you try spelling that after a pound of weed.

  • I need to practice this way cuz i have a tournament and the only way that i serve it tha Top Spin Way

  • this video helped alot =] TY!

  • what tennis academy is this and how to u get in

  • I am having problem while serving. When I try to hit hard, the ball goes out of the park..Is it because of grip ? If I hold it in continental grip and use pronation while hitting will it work?

  • your angle

  • i got the same problem..

  • wait could you go pro in a few years if you keep playing like this??

  • Good video.

  • i always fade left when i serve. and i think it's messing me up. but i can't change it! ah! haha

  • its your toss, you wont fade left if the ball is parallel

  • its not. it used to be my toss. and now i'm always fading left even when my toss is fine.

  • my jumping in serving is very unnatural.. why ?! what should i practice ?

  • is it negatively affecting your serve? If its not, dont change it. I used to have this problem, just bend your knees and hit. Do not focus on jumping at all, jumping comes naturally.

  • thanks ! you're right.

  • cool tell me how it goes

  • not jumping.. just extend your legs

push off, straighten them with the push

don't actually jump unless your push is giving you that much momentum

  • this is a great video for beginners. one year ago at this time i could barely lob a serve in. i kept practicing and watching videos and now im nailing serves in easily hitting three digits...consistency is key!!! Tennis is more than a sport, its a PASSION :D

  • wait you can hit that fast after one year of practice? danng.

  • Thanks intosport.

    good demonstration

  • wow good video great tips and good demonstration

  • nice ill be sure to try that out

  • yo thanks homie dog. im gonna kick ass tommawa!

  • really good help, helped me alot with my serving!!!

  • thanks for the video. Ill try it this weekened at the sports club. Hope i devolop a good serve

  • for me serving is also the hardest, apart from finding that perfect forhand top spin any tips for a newb to the sport?

  • hey, i agree with you..for me serving is the hardest part, but other than that..i have my forehand, backhand, volleys down pretty well. im starting to get my serve down now, i think a good tip would be when ur about to hit the ball on the serve, think about hitting it straight forward and make sure to stretch ur arm all the way forward and then bring it down. hope that helps, cuz it helped me out a lot

  • im not to experienced in tennis either, but the only advice i could give you through text is to use a full western grip because it makes it much easier to hit top spin

  • I just can't serve as I would like to, i think I need a lot of solo practice but I'm afraid the whole club would laugh at me... what can I do?

  • just practice and practice, people in a club wont laugh at you. If anything theyll approach you and give advice. Just remember, everyone was once a beginner, chances are they had the same problem when they were learning tennis
