I have a vino (not 100% certain of the ccs) but top speed I can hit on it is 50mph straight road, and 35mph uphill. I would really like to to be able to drive on highways (aka 60mph+ easily). Would this kind of modification do the trick?
Basically what you've done is to take a butt ugly scooter, with bad breaks, and mount a bigger engine on it? I'd prefer buying a better scooter.
Besides that: I hope the guy who roadtests it, gets to learn about stopping distances, before he ends up in the back of a ca.Man he's right up the ass of that car..
@aworange91 What makes you claim to know anything at all about my braking abilities? I could be mistaken, but you seem like the kind of moron, that makes up negative shit about people whos comments you don't like. That's kinda pathetic if that's the case.
How well it stops doesn't really matter, if you're driving to close to have a chance to use the brakes. It's driving 101: keep your distance. I thought everyone knew that.
Yep, i managed to misspell brakes. BFD. My point's still correct.
C3 is only good for one thing. Holding ice for your beer because after all it is a liquorcycle. Aprilia SR 50 (stock) or a Vespa S50 4V would smoke a C3.
All U China haters man it kills me. your the same people that drinks that KOOL AID and probably believe we still vote for our leaders. all u haters need to get together and have a big hate off now that would be some thing to see.
I wonder if they could machine some components for the GY6's disc brake to go on the C3? Anyways I'm thinking about this conversion, it would get the angry car drivers off of me for going slow, I mean they threaten to hit me they are so angry. The government needs to loosen up and at least let us have 100cc's without a motorcycle license to make it safer for people to ride in the traffic.
What a jackoff! The dumb fucker hasn't figured out that it's dangerous to boost a 49cc scooter's power too high because the drup brakes can't handle it! I hope he dies tailgating another truck like he did in this video!
Why don't you try to do a swap with the new 125cc fuel injected engine from the new 125 zuma now THAT might get yamaha to think about a 125 cc C3. That would be nice to see a C3 with a QUALITY 125cc and a disc brake.
I mean a C3 with the zuma's 125cc would definetly sell big. I'm a short person I have tried to sit ona zuma and they are just a bit too tall for me funny I know but the C3 would fill the niche for shorter people who want to get around without being on their tip toe with one foot at the stoplights. The C3 is low like a small cruiser motorcycle with a 125cc yamaha engien it would be one nice cruiser for a scooter low wide and capable.
What's with the dumb burnouts? I can do that on ANY scooter, moped or motorcycle. They're especially easy when you stand up off the seat. Seriously, anything can do that. When you do it on such an un-powerful scooter, it just looks retarded. (Like you're trying too hard)
That GY6 engine doesn't seem very fast to me. What's the big deal about putting a Chinese, low quality 150 engine into a high quality Japanese 50cc frame? I'd rather have a kitted C3 50 than a crappy Frankenbike with lower quality componenets.
I don't know about that cooliorz. I mean I run quality premium in my C3 and it still burns RICH I opened up my exhaust to take off my wheel and the carbon buildup was caked and falling to the floor. At least with the GY6 I could tune the carburator to run just right. I certainly can't adjust the fuel injection on the stock C3.

@jo05dk the guy who did this post on a forum called total ruckus and the front end has been modified for better braking.
also buddy build it dont buy it
buying new shit is for people with no skill to make what they want!

@jo05dk This coming from a guy who can't spell brakes, much less use them. I have one. It's ugly, but it stops just fine.

Thats actually not true, Ive ridden scooters doing close to 100mph and even the 50cc units with NOS can still handle well.

Why would you wish someone to die just because they modded their scooter? You're evil.
