@EROSSSS1 Por supuesto que se escucho esta musica en toda hispanoamerica,una epoca de grandes producciones instrumentales.Efectivamente las nuevas generaciones han dejado de lado mucha de la herencia musical de calidad que precedio estos tiempos,pero tambien muchos tratamos de mantener vivos estos estilos,ya sea inculcandolo en nuestros hijos o como en mi caso,tocando piezas instrumentales al piano y compartiendo ese gusto en distintos foros.

When I was a kid my mom had a Casio Electric Organ that had this as one of the pre-programmed tunes in it you can opt to listen to. She used to have it on to lull me to sleep when I was around 2 or 3. Back then it was a peaceful song that made me sleep, now whenever I hear this it makes me all teary eyed.

First time I heard this instrumental when I was with the U.S. Military service in Misawa, Japan in 1979. This was played at the main street of this City and just found it last week, May 25, 2009.

With a poor background in music, I would say that lead string instrument is a mandolin. Cradled in the middle by PM's orchestra, this whole thing just came out to be soooooooo beautifully soul-soothing mind relaxing music. A good piece to play in your living room after a hard day's work. ;)
