Could you please highlight the misinformation? Some indy media groups stand in stark contrast to the blatant and obvious agenda of the mainstream media, and this one in particular refrains from casting opinion, justified or not. Just curious how you mean that statement.
Thank you so very much Amy, and everyone at Democracy Now!. Amy, you and the good folks at Democracy Now! should have gotten the Noble Peace Prize. Not Obamao.
Back in December of 2003, the Bush admin , with the consent of the Pakistani Government, ordered the U.S. Military to let thousands of Taliban and Al CIA-duhs escape into Pakistan from Afghanistan . Then Bush turns around and gives Pakistan $14 billion to fight terror. It makes no sense. Then Obama comes along promises change and most of us can see no change but plenty of excuses. We are getting played.
I have also seen CA cops do stuff like this, over nothing. One guy was just drinking an energy drink on the train, and they rushed on, slammed him around, spilling the drink, and dragging him off to rough up some more. It is terrifying to see them assert their power so aggressively. You feel like it could be you if there is ever a misunderstanding. I am sure that is the goal.
Indeed, I was dismayed (but not shocked) to hear last night that the Afghan conflict is another way that money is being funneled into the banks. It seems the real goal is to play games to panic the masses into allowing a hijacked government to extract labor and resources from them and pass it upward to their paymasters. That is why I only vote for 3rd parties. Join me when you have had enough of it. Plenty of good candidates outside those 2 corrupt parties.
Already there, I have been voting for Nader since I was of legal age. But without runoff voting someone that doesn't get massive corporate campaign contributions won't go very far.
Glad to hear you are awake. Hypothetical - what if 51% of American voters in the next election voted for an independent candidate, regardless of what advertising and endorsement the corporate candidates bought themselves? What would the electoral college do? Hand the election to a 23%er? Let the Supreme Court give it to a 30%er? The only thing standing between us and the victory of a 3rd party candidate is the belief that nobody else will vote their interests. That belief can change.
Yes I agree, but people would be much more inclined and also good candidates would have more of a chance with runoff voting. Also the gov funds the dems and repubs officially. It was something like if a party gets 10% of the vote they get funding from the treasury but thats a scam they keep raising it. And I think they would rig the elections before doing something like you suggest.
I will vote for Lue Dobbs.

Peace is cheap, I'm amazed the Republicans aren't for it.

Peace is neither the republicans or democrats goal, neither is saving taxpayers money.
