I can not agree more. But especially in this time not going main stream was quite normal. Music was quite authentic in this time. Even if you still got the main stream disco folks, there were a lot of great music around.

But you find also very authentic music in this time. You just have to look deeper and more local. Many good music does not make it too the mass anymore, but music like Evanensence, Sirenia, Subway to Sally, Faun are populare. Things are changing.
