Speaking of the Deku tree... [SPOILER] When Groose is standing by the soil patch that you eventually put that plant to heal the Thunder Dragon with, I originally thought that Groose was planning to plant something there himself. I got all nostalgic and I started crying because I thought he was going to plant and take care of the Great Deku Tree. That would've been a truly amazing reason that Groose was to have his noble moment... but yea, eventually planted it... felt stupid, haha.

Sounds soooo similar to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Voice of Wind, Song of Time. Both have a very drip-drop/mystery feel to them, plus similar instruments :-).

so the Deku are descendants of the Kikwi, the Zora are descendants of the Pallera(?), the Gorons... were always there, and... some other species are descendants of the Mogma.

@JuanDVene It's more of a theory than anything. I think that dekus evolved from plants since they ARE made of wood (at least I think they are.)

i always thought they could've made this tree REALLY lush and expansive. like if you're gonna go big like that, especially with all the connotations a tree like this creates in Zelda, just make it enormous. i picture the canopy going much further out in every direction with tendrils and vines hanging down. i pictured a lot of interconnecting branches and swirling curling arms numbering much more than what there were. all this could just be empty polygons and be totally unreachable too.

@rulerofyourface That was what I thought! I thought that Lanayru, Eldin and Farore all make up Hyrule, and so the tree becomes the Great Deku Tree, but I wasn't certain. Well, I'm still not, but when I theorised that, my mind was slightly blown xD

This song such as at 0:05 sounds like ships in the tree. Is this tree bigger then the Wind Waker Forest Haven and if so how much? Double the size?

@MrNARUTOnumber1fan Hm, indeed. The thing I misses about the game was the fun interaction with deku's/kokiri. There were way not enough gorons to hear what craaayzay things they could say. And ofcourse them zora's... The only real interaction with people was in Skyloft... Nintendo should do a new Majora's Mask kind of game!
