Susan Rice Sen. Obama's top foreign policy advisor, cited Senator Obama's "legislation on ethics reform" when asked this morning about his foreign policy experience, it is clear that Obama has no real foriegn policy experience.
If Obama keeps this up, half the Democratic Party will be accused as "racists" before the primary ends. See here:
Obama used "racism" when people raised his cocaine use. Obama raised "racism" if we say his middle name. Now he says its racism if we mention that "90% of the black votes - the same race as him? Is Obama going to control our words, our thoughts and our actions by threatening "racism" on the whole country?
She stated a historical fact; MLK & King worked behind the scenes together to get the civil rights and voting acts passed; Hillary was merely stating historcial fact; non-partisan highly respected historian Doris Kean Goodwin said Hillary was "absolutely right" PBS broadcaster Bill MOyers who was an aide to Pres Johnson; said "There was nothing in Clintons quote about race"
He is using racism to divert people's attention from his lies on NAFTA, Iraq, Rezko.
Sadly, Democrats accomodate him every time... no exceptions. And then those he maligns get stuck with a charge that is false but takes time to defend.
OBAMA2008! Hillary's lack of self esteem, competancy, and nervousness is starting to show! Do we need to question why? Taxes and trip logs will come out. Lack of plan implementation and the status of Healthcare and Social Services since she was the First Lady and now Senator. Do not see much happening there. Both are a disaster out of our taxpayer pockets. Illegal immigrants are getting the healthcare YOUR grandmother deserves. Thanks, Hillary!
Faced with many legitimate questions about Sen. Obama's long-time relationship w/ indicted political fixer Tony Rezko, the Obama campaign has chosen to lash out at Senator Clinton.
facts:
Over 20 years of the Clintons' tax returns are in the public domain.
Hillary's tax returns since she left the White House will be made available around April 15.
This information will be in addition to 15 years of uninterrupted public financial disclosure reports.
You think after losing 11 in a row and coming back to win 3 in a row including what has been the most important state(OH) in presidential elections since '64 shows a lack of self esteem and competency like your posting claims? Ok, that makes sense
mrjoe: Divide and conquer. Don't fall into the trap of Dem/Rep. Having access to the internet, here's your homework assignment.
Which candidate speaks out against lobbyist. Which candidate is for uniting the people, as in
the "United States". Don't rely on the mainstream media to teach you. Remember, the main stream media helped this administration sell the Iraq invasion to most of the American people. False intelligence my a..sss. See the video of John Dean or the "Downing Street Memo". FACTS!!
It is the Obama camp that is pretending that others are using the race card. They are brilliant at projecting this idea onto others while they themselves are perpetrating it. Call them the arsonist firefighters, lol.
exactly. For example Hillary said. " I respect MLK...he started a movement that helped Lyndon Johnson passed the civil rights act" Obama Camp :" Racist!! Clinton belittles MLK accomplishments!" WHat she said was..hmm THE TRUTH. Had the not been passed, segregation would still exist till this day.
That's either misleading or a blatant misrepresntation of what happened. Obama's camp said NOTHING about Clinton's comments. She accused him of taking advantage and he then responded - making sure it was on the record that there was NO response from his camp, before that.
You are absolutely incorrect. Obama himself was busted by Tim Russert on television for having 4 pages of race-card issues which his press people were sending out to the media.
Aww come on, the Obama camp doesn't have to actually say it, but you can believe that they are calling the shots to make it happen behind the scenes. Obama's true colors have yet to be seen. Don't worry, though, the Repubs will uncover all this and more.
obama's campaign people indirectly leaked it to several black leaders, thus enragin black people for no reason. They made it out to be that HIllary thinks MLK was nothing without the president. However, hillary was just pointing the technicallities, which was grossly been misrepresented in the media.
lea, the point you're missing is that if MLK hadn't started the movement segregation would still exist. LBJ wasn't interested in civil rights. He only became interested in rights as a way to secure a legacy. She got the order of importance wrong and diminished MLK's role to build her case. It was idiotic to state it the way she did. Especially since he not only didn't care about civil rights, but he liberally used the 'N' word.
probably not desegregation was already on the table during Ike's presidency, he passed the buck on it to JFK. I read IKe's auto and he had many meetings w/ civil rights leaders and nominated Warren for the chief justice spot(who also did alot to end deseg), the civil and voting rights acts were trying to be passed since 54'
She stated a historical fact; MLK & King worked behind the scenes together to get the civil rights and voting acts passed; Hillary was merely stating historcial fact; non-partisan highly respected historian Doris Kean Goodwin said Hillary was "absolutely right" PBS broadcaster Bill MOyers who was an aide to Pres Johnson; said "There was nothing in Clintons quote about race"
Examining Barack Obama's Strong Appeal to Highly Educated Americans
Gallup poll - Enough said!!!
Call on your senators to impeach those currently in the White House since they are essentially shredding our Constitution. Is that patriotic enough for you? Illegal wiretapping, misleading the American Citizens into an illegal invasion, firing U.S. Attorneys for political gain, etc, etc. Join the educated crowd and focus on real issues.
Obama needs to quit hiding behind the race card if he wants to seek the presidency. No one can be a success as President by playing the race card. If Obama cannot stand the heat then he needs to get out of the kitchen.
Nobody wants to admit it but as far as the press is concerned Obama is the affirmative action candidate. That's why they are treating him with kid gloves. If this guy was white with the same record they would have him crying by now.
Recession has started since democrats have been in control of Congress
Obama is saying the economy is weak. If you look back ever since the Democrats have taken over the Congress in Jan, 2007 it has been going down hill. Obama is trying to make like it is the GOP fault. The Dems controlled Congress that has caused Market go down
Mos·lem [mózləm, móssləm]

an offensive term for a Muslim

Lanny Davis is a tool. Father of negative attacks.
"Obama is the MOST LIBERAL senator in the senate - e.g. not just for abortion but for allowing babies who are born, breathing on their own to be killed, is just one sterling example) is NOT GOING to unite people who believe in life!! He's not going to unite me because I strongly dislike his views.
You can't force people to unite over issues they despise."
Grow up kid (19Yrs). You are too young to understand the politics & the real puppet masters. I have no love lost for Obama. Go ahead and bash Obama, he is not my uncle. I was commenting on the crookedly Lanny Davis. I know these AIPAC stoogs in American politics well.
I don't know about you guys but I am sick and tired of these brainless comments from "donottake" Grow up.. these sorts of things are for the politics of past.. OPEN your eyes see how and why millions and millions are behind OBAMA .. look you can only swim against the tides for so long. isn't it time to come to our side (the side of hope and Change) and leave the politics of past for the dinosaur politicians like Bill and Hillary and Mc Cain. lets look forward and into future OBAMA all the WAY
Enough of hiding behind the race card and not being held accountable for associations with racist organizations. Obama is running for President and needs to come under the same scrutiny as anyone else.
Any other candidate who belonged to a racist church that gave a racist like Farrakhan an award for "greatness", and in turn was endorsed by the racist organization (that has the ability to assemble a million people for a rally) would be run out of the election process.

She's losing because Obama is a cunning politician and has railroaded her career. Especially by playing the race baiting card after New Hampshire. He must feel proud of himself.
One would believe that racism tops the list of the type of biggotry we need to overcome. Well, guess what America, we are FAR more sexist than racist and this election has proved THAT without a doubt!
Obama is the untouchable one because of his skin color, while people openly admit to not voting for Hill because she's a woman! They acknowledge she would be a formidible leader, but won't support her!
What happens if he gets in, you can't speak out against him if he's wrong?!
wow, I wonder if you would have had the same comments if she won 10 straight contest. When you lose then excuses come in. I agree there is some sexism going on in the US but that's not why she's loosing
I HAVE said this before Obama's 11 wins, because it's been TRUE before during & after Obama's 11 wins, just as it's been true since this race began including on Super Tues when Hillary won many states too!
The difference here is that if Obama had the same lack of record and experience but went out with that same message would he still have won if he were a she? HELL NO! No one would give a woman with his record a chance! He'd never gotten past Iowa.
this prick doesn't Salute our flag watch the Vidseo Below! I am pissed! Not to mention he has participated in Muslim rituals! United States Of America! Take a good look at ObamaX and his unpatriotic wife Obamarosa!
mresl, thanks to the media and Obama and his campaign, you, too, believe the Clintons are to blame.
The race card has been played so effectively against them, that you even blame Clinton supporters.
I hope it all comes out full steam by the press and media, soon, instead of the trickles just starting. But it won't be soon enough for Hillary, which is really sad.
I seen this whole interview and the race card thing just came out of no where. How would confronting Obama on his so called similar stance on Iraq have anything to do with race?
It seems like it's been the Clinton supporters who are constantly making race an issue. What a prime example this interview was...I wonder if it's all calculated or are people really just that ignorant?
yea this shit deleted my text...how fair rite..? but yea theres no use agruing my point cuz its actually logical ya kno makes sense in words? nigger? haha! u think that has power huh..?haha..i wont use reverse rascism cuz cruise is it? u dont truly know y u do the things u do..ur a simpleton. cant argue with DOGs..they are mans best friend...imma human.
but off point..clinton can have a respectful but contrasting debate w/senator Obama..but when in lack of a valid distinction that matters to the people which positively benefits you dont use subtle word tricks & racial tones..like comparing obama to jesse jackson to marginalize his campaign,or imply that he was a drug traffiker or use surrogates to make comments which are irresponsible & have nothing to do w/policy. & then act naive.but dont underestimate the publics competentcy w/these matters.
this is obviosuly shocking to obama supporters-but not everyone is in love with your mystical savior. some of us believe he's a human being just like anyone else, and as such believe its valid to criticize his dirty politics of misrepresentation and slander.
lizzy u have predjudice undertone in ur voice...what does being "raised by whites" have anything to do with his competence or success in politics?question:what does that do 4 u?hmm...obama does run a multi-racial campaign his campaign's message hasnt changed to appeal to different ethnic groups..he's made an effort to encompass an acceptance of all different races being multi-CULTURAL himself. kenya/kansas/hawaii/indonesia/chicago
Look the church he attends isn't racist. Whites are welcomed there and treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Whereas a true racist church such as some in the south, blacks are scared to even go near. This church doesn't mean to bring fear but to point out racial and economic injustice which I'm sorry to say still does exist. It looks to bring hope to a whole race has lost everything. The genious of Obama is that he has taken that messages and expanded it to include everyone.
Barack's church is in Illinois-not in the south. Again, trying to paint him as a black American when his African heritage isn't even domestic is dishonest.
Don't get your point. The midwest might not have the hate that the south has, but it has some of the most segregated cities in the country. Where on average blacks are plagued by poverty and crime. Dr Wright might not be
His church does declare a closeness with African roots, and 'unapolegetically' so (according to their website); they also promote 'uplifting' the black community, but, trust me, if you travelled around on the streets of south Chicago, you'd understand why the community there needs uplifting. Being pro-black and being anti-white are two different things. I'll call them racist when you can find examples of their members beating up and lynching white people for no reason.
This is true I told a friend that Obama sponsored a Bill the same day he said we needed to stop sending our money to Iraq, that would send 7% of the US GNP to the UN for Poor Muslim countries. So he is a hipocrite and 7% is equal to 185 Billion increase over what we send to UN already. This money would go to countries that are enemies of the US and would say it is from the UN not the US. So he hasn't gotten elected yet but has already told a lie. He is sending American money out of US.
Anyone who's hyper-sensitive to the issue of discrimination will always conclude that any judgement against any person of their 'pet group' is based solely on race, sex, age, disability, orientation, gender identity ect. I see quite a few more comments accusing anti-Clinton people of sexism than anti-Obama people of racsim, but that may be because she's losing right now. That said, the Clinton camp HAS played the race card where the Obama camp has, to my knowledge, stuck to the issues.
Republican presidential hopeful John McCain mocked Democrat Barack Obama on Wednesday for saying he would take action as president "if al-Qaida is forming a base in Iraq."
"When you examine that statement, it's pretty remarkable," McCain told a crowd in Tyler, Texas.
"I have some news. Al-Qaida is in Iraq. It's called `al-Qaida in Iraq,'" McCain said, drawing laughter at Obama's expense.
I love Lanny, I think he is one of the best political spokespersons I've ever heard. In all of my adult lifetime, LOL. That would be 46 years, just like Obama.
Lanny is polite, respectful, professional, and even the Republican hosts get along with him well.
Not to mention, to predict what a person will do based on race or sex, wouldn't that make you a racist or sexist, so is this a "card" or just a factual observaion.
I suppose your a republican sjcpony??? Talk about sheeple, We are in Iraq because of the Afghany in Afghanistan who attacked the WTC (you probably even beleive he did that). 431 billion in profit, go figure while daddy bush just gives you the giggle about our troops dying, he he he, I don't think even sheep would follow a fu...ng complete moron for 8 years.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Do you "sheeple" see what black power has done to Americans? Blacks can say anything they want; defame and degrade any sex or religion they choose, scream prejudice and hate for anyone they choose. Yet, they are protected by all media from critics. To criticize blacks is to be "racist". To criticize blacks is a "hate crime". To criticize Obama is "racist", so the media backs-off. I hate Hitlery, but she's in a no-win situation with Obama. His sensitivity makes me vomit, it's dishonest.
His website, the bills that he has passed, the people sponsoring his bills beg to differ. Considering the fact that he has passed more effective bills, and has more people support his bill than hillary in congress, I would say Hillary needs to be running on his platform. Maybe thats why she is losing.
crikey: Obama has bamboozled you, if you're reading his website. Obama has not passed any bills. The 1 bill he co-authored did not pass. His bills have been more effective- How so? He hasn't passed any. More people in Congress are not supporting him. And Hillary's vision is his platform. He's winning in states that caucus and states with a majority of blacks. Those are just the facts, ma'am.

President Clinton's comment that "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina," in order to equate the Obama campaign with Jackson's campaign 20 years ago WAS playing the race card, as were Cuomo's comments that Obama cannot get away with "Shuckin' and Jivin'" So to deny that the Clinton camp has been playing the race card is the biggest fairy tale of all.
majoha asks, "why does everything have to always come down to race?" But that's the question that Blacks ask every time they red lined, steered by real estate agents, asked for extra ID when cashing checks, denied loans granted to white applicants when all other qualifications are equal, profiled by police, and skipped over for employment and promotions. Indeed, too many things really do come down to race, even today.
"Isn't it curious that it's always a White guy/gal who asks the question, "why does everything have to always come down to race?"
You're an idiot. Gee, I don't know, maybe it's because alot of blacks like to bitch and moan about race in order to get special priveleges? Fucking liberal cunt.
Wasn't it Hillary's MLK/LBJ comments that brought the whole race issue front and center? And then Bill continually dismissing a potential Obama SC win as "Jesse Jackson won here too."
Also the Clinton surrogates brought up drug dealing, and "shuck and jive" etc.
I didn't thinkt he fairy tale comment had anything to do with race - just words vs. action on Iraq.
What does the phrase "fairy tale" have to do with race?
Regardless of whether Bill Clinton was referring to Obama's position on Iraq or referring to Obama more generally, what does "fairy tale" have to do with race?
"Regardless of whether Bill Clinton was referring to Obama's position on Iraq or referring to Obama more generally, what does 'fairy tale' have to do with race?"
Good Question. The point is not in the phrase "fairy tale," but in the implied message that the notion of an African American being elected president of the United States is a fairy tale.
That was the widespread interpretation of Clinton's meaning when he said, "This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I ever saw."
This has been flagged as spam show

Obama release all info about Rezko!!

It is the Obama camp that is pretending that others are using the race card. They are brilliant at projecting this idea onto others while they themselves are perpetrating it. Call them the arsonist firefighters, lol.
BlidRXS 3 years ago
exactly. For example Hillary said. " I respect MLK...he started a movement that helped Lyndon Johnson passed the civil rights act" Obama Camp :" Racist!! Clinton belittles MLK accomplishments!" WHat she said was..hmm THE TRUTH. Had the not been passed, segregation would still exist till this day.
lea210 3 years ago
That's either misleading or a blatant misrepresntation of what happened. Obama's camp said NOTHING about Clinton's comments. She accused him of taking advantage and he then responded - making sure it was on the record that there was NO response from his camp, before that.
NorrthCafe 3 years ago
You are absolutely incorrect. Obama himself was busted by Tim Russert on television for having 4 pages of race-card issues which his press people were sending out to the media.
hinnis 3 years ago
Aww come on, the Obama camp doesn't have to actually say it, but you can believe that they are calling the shots to make it happen behind the scenes. Obama's true colors have yet to be seen. Don't worry, though, the Repubs will uncover all this and more.
BlidRXS 3 years ago
obama's campaign people indirectly leaked it to several black leaders, thus enragin black people for no reason. They made it out to be that HIllary thinks MLK was nothing without the president. However, hillary was just pointing the technicallities, which was grossly been misrepresented in the media.
supportinghillary 3 years ago
lea, the point you're missing is that if MLK hadn't started the movement segregation would still exist.
NorrthCafe 3 years ago
probably not desegregation was already on the table during Ike's presidency, he passed the buck on it to JFK. I read IKe's auto and he had many meetings w/ civil rights leaders and nominated Warren for the chief justice spot(who also did alot to end deseg), the civil and voting rights acts were trying to be passed since 54'
jabusso20 3 years ago
She stated a historical fact; MLK & King worked behind the scenes together to get the civil rights and voting acts passed; Hillary was merely stating historcial fact; non-partisan highly respected historian Doris Kean Goodwin said Hillary was "absolutely right" PBS broadcaster Bill MOyers who was an aide to Pres Johnson; said "There was nothing in Clintons quote about race"

I HAVE said this before Obama's 11 wins, because it's been TRUE before during & after Obama's 11 wins, just as it's been true since this race began including on Super Tues when Hillary won many states too!

mresl, thanks to the media and Obama and his campaign, you, too, believe the Clintons are to blame.

I seen this whole interview and the race card thing just came out of no where. How would confronting Obama on his so called similar stance on Iraq have anything to do with race?

Look the church he attends isn't racist. Whites are welcomed there and treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Whereas a true racist church such as some in the south, blacks are scared to even go near. This church doesn't mean to bring fear but to point out racial and economic injustice which I'm sorry to say still does exist. It looks to bring hope to a whole race has lost everything. The genious of Obama is that he has taken that messages and expanded it to include everyone.

Barack's church is in Illinois-not in the south. Again, trying to paint him as a black American when his African heritage isn't even domestic is dishonest.
Devin1498 3 years ago

vernlaw 3 years ago

His sensitivity makes me vomit, it's dishonest.

why does everything have to always come down to race
majoha2020 3 years ago
majoha asks, "why does everything have to always come down to race?" But that's the question that Blacks ask every time they red lined, steered by real estate agents, asked for extra ID when cashing checks, denied loans granted to white applicants when all other qualifications are equal, profiled by police, and skipped over for employment and promotions. Indeed, too many things really do come down to race, even today.

EricJaffa asks:
"Regardless of whether Bill Clinton was referring to Obama's position on Iraq or referring to Obama more generally, what does 'fairy tale' have to do with race?"
Good Question. The point is not in the phrase "fairy tale," but in the implied message that the notion of an African American being elected president of the United States is a fairy tale.
That was the widespread interpretation of Clinton's meaning when he said, "This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I ever saw."
