Manny will prevail, but a very good fight. I'm still waiting for the really best matchup to happen if chicken shit gets a courage injection. No cowardly nasty sucker punch will do it for him.Perhaps he should not have used that slime until then. lol
Such a shame that I'm the only one to listen to and comment on one of the greatest pianists that ever lived. He would certainly had he not died at 33-gone on to be arguably the greatest pianist of the twentieth century-if not ever. Bravo! TY.
Alright, let's not get carried away. He was a great pianist, that's for sure -- but to say he would "certainly" have been the greatest ever is a long stretch.
Link your sources, please. Also, I don't think the opinions of others on something as subjective as musical taste can be "more qualified" than those of others.
diesel1828-As with most every other cop out-the term objective overrides even the most deep rooted facts. People such as you don't wish reality but arguments in their place. This happens to be but one of them. Adios.

Lipatti's playing is simply divine! The
subtlety of color, texture, pattern, touch
and his awesome legato are paths
to Heaven! Astounding expression of
Bach's masterwork! Thank you for
posting this beautiful treasure!

@paulostroff99 The key word was arguably. Perhaps Horowitz,,Michelangeli,Hofmann, and Rachmaninov may have been a touch better.
