I hate that animals are murdered to make my hamburger, but you don't see lions feeling guilty for murdering a Zebra. It's the natural way of life. Yes, i LOVE animals and hate knowing that i ate something that had a family and had feelings. But, sadly, i am a human, i have pointly teeth and flat teeth for a reason. I couldn't help but say this as well: We consume "vegetarian food"? What on earth is that? Humans are naturally OMNIVOROUS. Do you know what that means? It means we eat meat, as well as plants. You eat just plants. You eat plants exclusively. We do not eat meat exclusively, nor should we. We can eat whatever we want, as can you. You choose not to consume flesh. If us omnivores happen to eat something that does not contain meat, it just means we're being omnivores.
I eat meat almost every day of my life, and I don't feel guilty or ashamed in the least. I agree that animals are mistreated and abused for the sake of meat. Which is part of the reason I avoid processed foods. The other reason is that processed food is simply bad for you. I personally hunt and kill a large portion of the meat I eat. The rest comes from cattle that I am personally involved in the raising of. They have a good, easy life of eating grass, and are killed humanely. Good day, sir.

The only reason why vegetarians live longer is because of the preservatives in unhealthy meat such as fried chicken, burgers, ect. when there are healthier alternatives (grilled chicken, lean beef). I know feel extremely bad about myself. But I don't think there's anything wrong with vegetarians, or vegans, or people who eat immense amounts of meat. Omnivores do not hate vegetarians/vegans normally. However, in general, people don't like it when someone assumes something about a group of people claiming to be the voice of a group of other people who want nothing to do with that someone because they are a zealot of some sort. I buy only free range meat, eggs, and dairy, which means I'm supporting the small local businesses that let animals live in humane conditions and die peacefully. That helps those local businesses and the economy, and is a detriment to the big businesses that torture them. If you go vegetarian, those big businesses can't tell the difference, meanwhile the small ones who do it right, they are. I'm eating a grilled ham and cheese sandwich that's pretty fucking good and I don't feel shame.

Vegetarian and vegan diets, especially vegan diets, are unhealthy. That is not so say that being omnivorous and eating 90% meat is healthy, but a balanced, omnivorous diet is more healthy than "ethical" diets.
Maybe a meat eater wouldn't attack you if you weren't verbally abusing the meat eaters. I am a proud omnivore. I like to eat vegetables and fruits but I also liked that balanced with some grilled chicken, sirloin or some nice fish. It's okay to be veg but it's definitely not the SUPERIOR diet by any means. A lot of vegetarians can be unhealthy too. You can sit in your front yard and eat grass with the rabbits, but I'll be at the local Japanese Steakhouse with all the evil omnivores.

I've been vegetarian since I was 16, but I don't have a problem with people eating meat. I think as long as the animals were treated humanely and raised on an organic diet, it's ok to have a moderate amount of meat in your diet. Some people need to eat meat because it is the main source of food to them. I think it's great Greg is a vegetarian, but I don't think eating meat makes someone a horrible person.

I couldn't help but say this as well: We consume "vegetarian food"? What on earth is that? Humans are naturally OMNIVOROUS. Do you know what that means? It means we eat meat, as well as plants. I eat meat almost every day of my life, and I don't feel guilty or ashamed in the least. I agree that animals are mistreated and abused for the sake of meat. Which is part of the reason I avoid processed foods. The other reason is that processed food is simply bad for you. I personally hunt and kill a large portion of the meat I eat. The rest comes from cattle that I am personally involved in the raising of. They have a good, easy life of eating grass, and are killed humanely. Good day, sir.

I buy only free range meat, eggs, and dairy, which means I'm supporting the small local businesses that let animals live in humane conditions and die peacefully. That helps those local businesses and the economy, and is a detriment to the big businesses that torture them. If you go vegetarian, those big businesses can't tell the difference, meanwhile the small ones who do it right, they are. Vegetarian and vegan diets, especially vegan diets, are unhealthy. That is not so say that being omnivorous and eating 90% meat is healthy, but a balanced, omnivorous diet is more healthy than "ethical" diets.

Maybe a meat eater wouldn't attack you if you weren't verbally abusing the meat eaters. I am a proud omnivore. I like to eat vegetables and fruits but I also liked that balanced with some grilled chicken, sirloin or some nice fish. It's okay to be veg but it's definitely not the SUPERIOR diet by any means. A lot of vegetarians can be unhealthy too. You can sit in your front yard and eat grass with the rabbits, but I'll be at the local Japanese Steakhouse with all the evil omnivores.

I've been vegetarian since I was 16, but I don't have a problem with people eating meat. I think as long as the animals were treated humanely and raised on an organic diet, it's ok to have a moderate amount of meat in your diet. Some people need to eat meat because it is the main source of food to them. I think it's great Greg is a vegetarian, but I don't think eating meat makes someone a horrible person.

Wtf, I had no idea I hated people for what they ate. More likely vegans feel they are better people and that meat eaters are huge jerks who hate them when in fact the hypocrisy is COMPLETELY symmetrical. It's more often those that make that facade themselves that really think someone cares SO much about what they're eating. More likely, you boast so much about how much better your eating habits are that you annoy people who just don't agree or want to be like you, and I couldn't blame them.
