  • so much emotion, I like it!

  • I went to the conterent in florida on 2/14/2012 and they were singing this song. I sat in the frount row:)

  • Hey who does this song originally

  • @1132lonewolf "Only a Woman's Heart" - composed and sung by Eleanor McEvoy

  • @CyaN1de3 thanks chloe nailed it at the end don't you think

  • I particularly enjoy Ray Fean's drumming in this song

  • I can't wait until April to see them in Seattle :D

  • @CyaN1de3 I seen them in florida they were fantastic have fun

  • Wow, Lisa Lambe nailed it at 2:42-2:45. Mesmerizing and haunting enough to make an axe man cry..

  • ive noticed that no matter how much i try to rage at people if these ladies are on my speakers i just cant

  • They do many "hollywood" song remakes. They just sing them their own way. This is still a "Celtic" type of song. Not all the normally used Celtic instruments are used, but the same type of singing and design. They always change things up from the average Celtic music. Don't stereotype peeps!! xD And they definitely aren't changing from how they "used" to be. This is how they always have been.

  • I now own the DVD and the CD. I have all previous works of Celtic Woman, they never disappoint with their work. They are so awesome and Lisa the new member is just so lovely! This group always has beautiful songs, vocals, people, and designs. This group is my favorite music group along with Wonder Girls and my favorite music artist Enya. Those 3 are the top of my list! So awesome. Go Celtic Woman! And now they have another new member who'l be on the Celtic Woman North American Tour for Believe!!

  • holy shit hand held mics! o_o

  • Chloe's all grown up now. :) Beautiful music by beautiful women. What's not to love?

  • Beautiful...changed my dislike to like...but with one correction in mind: I do not believe that's something exclusively reserved for women.

  • All 3 sing so beautiful, that they pull me into a world of peace

  • Oh how I wish I could play the Cello...

  • What is all this Hollywood stuff? What does 'Hollywood" mean??

Everybody just relax ,enjoy the beautiful music, the wonderful orchestration, and of course the beautiful girls with the extraordinary voices.

CW are international, they tour literally the world and are sold out everywhere. No need to be "Hollywood"

  • Il cuore delle donne...the woman's heart..The heart's Celtic Woman...

  • That final note pierces the soul.

  • This song appears on a lot of albums by Irish Singers, So it's only fitting they would perform it. Really special.....

  • Gorgeous cello solo - kudos to the player, whomever he may be!

  • Ich habe noch nie ein derartiges Lied vernommen - es berührt die Seele

  • @Etrichtaube1 Check out the Mary Black version. Exquisite....

  • love love this song, great harmony

  • I think "Celtic Woman" is an epic name defining cultural/historical things, not just the girls' selves from a certain group. Hollywood is not applicable here. Because they are from Europe where Ireland is actually located. I guess, Hollywood has nothing to do here, because it belongs to the USA. which is not the whole world yet.

  • @theonehewsings53 I think you took me wrong. I love their music, this song too! I'm just saying that I like their more Celtic sounding songs...I'm 18 as well, and am open minded to music, I was just making a general statement. :)

  • I never listened to the Celtic Woman because they sang Celtic music. If you listen to some of there interviews Lisa says that Celtic Woman is just a name and nothing else. I love them because they are not afraid to do something different and try something new. it might be because i am 18 and i have an opened mind about music and can like different types of music. But I have one thing to say "The members might come and go but the music will always be there!"

  • another beautiful song from the new BELIEVE Album, I love Chloe's high note at the end, I'm stunning

  • I'm American, but personally...I'd classify this as soft rock...or pop. But this just seems...lame? Yeah, I like CELTIC woman, the American woman...yeah, not so much! I'm just sayin', that I think they need to keep to the Celtic crowd a bit more. ;P

Just my take, you don't have to agree.

  • @efwsot

sorry, This group is primarily Irish women. I don't think there are any American's in the main group.

  • @drmayeda1 Not sure about Lisa's temporary replacement but to date the only soloist who wasn't Irish was Hayley Westenra - she is from New Zealand.

  • @erhea13 Her name is Susan McFadden. Born in Dublin 28 years ago.

  • @erhea13...Hayley may have been born in New Zealand but from Irish ancestry...

  • @efwsot..This song was composed by an Irish woman and has been sung and recorded by many Irish performers...So what not Irish about it????

  • @CCTC11891 I think it's hard for anyone who became a fan when Hayley was still there. Now the members have changed again and along with it their sound. I don't necessarily think it's the director. I think it's the members trying to figure out how to be them and still sound amazing. It's not easy for them. But its worse for those of us who loved the old sound so much!! I am with you. They still sound beautiful as always, but it just isn't the same.

  • @masonmlee I have been a fan since hearing their first material on PBS many years ago. Again, not all the songs on that first performance were Celtic. I really like their Celtic material, but if anything, I think they have actually been improving over the years with both their Celtic and non-Celtic songs. The more they perform, the better I like them, and this performance I judge to be as good or better than any before.

  • @cwlighting101 you are insinuating that I like "pop" because I am American? Is America synonymous with that? I was originally drawn to Celtic Woman 7 years ago when I could finally hear Irish music that wasn't watered down with choreography or Billy Joel songs. They still sing beautifully, don't take my comment personally, but the magic of the first night is gone, and D. Downes is trying to hard to re-create it.

  • There is only one word WONDERFUL

  • this is the first song I heard from them when I was chanell surfing and it caught my attention and hooked me now I have been listening to as many of their songs as i can and I love them I havent heard any one or group in years who puts as much feeling and wonderful talent into their songs chloe's voice is killer

  • @tracker929 Welcome to the celtic woman fan group then! :3

  • ...and i dont think im alone when i say that i appreciate their efforts! but to say theyre going hollywood b/c theyre not doing many numbers in gaeilic these days, is incorrect and you're misinformed. ta.

  • i love this song. its one of my favorites from this concert. you dont have to be irish, the girls dont have to be irish, they could be from anywhere and still would've pulled this off beautifully, as im sure that was Eleanor's goal. would've only taken a few moments to discover that the composer Is irish, and not "hollywood." c'mon ppl. just b/c the girls are exploring new avenues, doesnt mean theyre going hollywood. they've paid homage to a few different cultures that arent celtic...

  • @William2020a...me too. after all, country music has its literal grass roots to thank the celts for it.

  • @gaeilge1O1 so why do they use the handheld type in this song?

  • why are they using mics this time??

  • Actually this song was written by Eleanor McEvoy and remains one of the biggest selling Irish albums of all time. So it is still Irish music :)

  • The half of this show are Irish and/or traditional songs, and still people say 'there is only pop' Kinda weird. I'll admit, this is not my favorite song of the show, but it's still very lovely. Where SFTH didn't appeal to me on all parts, Believe is absolutely gorgeously crafted and full of soul. Can't wait to see this live in Amsterdam next year, even though I'll miss Lisa Kelly. But she'll be bussy with being the awesome mum she must be :D

  • Celtic Woman with 84% of vote for Top Traditional Group in Irish Misic Association Awards. Lisa Kelly in lead with Meav and Orla behind her as Top Performer. Orla in lead as Top Harpist again. It's a CW year. LOL hurry to register and vote

  • I'm gonna miss Lisa Kelly on this tour...

  • Whenever I listen to this I tear up a little bit. It's just so beautiful!

  • Is there anyone else thinking like me, that this could easily be a hit on any country music radio? This is better 'country' music than most of the crud on there!

  • @William2020a I've been wondering the same thing. Why aren't these ladies on country radio?

  • Celtic Woman is a Celtic group of WOMEN. Sure this isn't a song in Gaelic, but of course it applies because they are women. Why would you put a limitation on such talent as saying something's too Hollywood? They lose none of my respect for doing this song, they only gain it.

  • i love all of their songs @lightningchaser93

  • @xxharmony19 Me too :)

  • I just discovered Celtic Woman within the last few days, and I have nothing else to say but WOW!, there voices harmonizing is TRULY ANGELIC!! {: ). They make me cry happy tears.

  • I don't like that new chic .

  • I love this song. Thank you so much for posting.

  • Very nice! It shows they can do a lot more than just Celtic music (not that there is anything wrong with Celtic music mind you). Not "Hollywood" at all, but a beautiful song.

  • too pop.

now you're all gonna rate me down. but i used to love these girls until they went hollywood.

  • @cctc11891 at least they held out longer that Celtic Thunder. And I don't think they are in to much danger.....yet. Pray they never lose their Celtic beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cctc11891 I totally agree with you. CELTIC WOMAN should now be renamed EUROPEAN WOMAN. The group has gone pop so much. I remember original members like Meav and Orla can perform a 100% song in Gaelic such as Si do mhaimeo i, Suil a Run or Dulaman... Now what have you seen? Their most authentic Celtic song in this show is Teir Abhaile Riu - a half Gaelic, half English song like Nil Se'n La. Orla and Meav left, taking away Celtic soul, only commercial pop songs remain.

  • @258tangerine They aren't called Celtic Woman because they sing Celtic music. They are called Celtic Woman because THEY are Celtic. So if you don't like them anymore then stop listening to them.

  • @mlisakellyfanm @258tangerine and the others...err..this isn't 100% correct..what do you mean "celtic music"? because I think it doesnt mean they have to sing the songs in irish gaelic..for example the song called "The Voice" (written by "the boss" Brendan Graham) is a really celtic-inspired song however the lyrics of this song is english but is still a celtic song. Their music have celtic impression, no matter if it is folk, pop etc.. --> this is the main thing!!

    Peace ! :)

  • @GreatSuicide I totaly agree.

  • @cctc11891 No rating down for honest opinion, however this song was written by an Irsh lady. Eleanor MacEvoy. McEvoy graduated from Trinity with an Honors Degree in music and spent four months busking in New York. In 1988 she was accepted into the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra where she spent four years before leaving to concentrate on songwriting. How much more Irish can ya get than to be an Irish lady singing a song written BY an Irish lady? to 258tangerine, also

  • @cctc11891 You're getting a lot of negative rep for that comment...but I agree completely with you...I can barely listen to the songs from the Believe tour

  • @JordanKerk99 thank you. going against the masses is always frustrating.

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful.

  • Three enchanting beauty with an absolutely beautiful song. Wonderful and refreshing! It soothes my soul and gives me a hint of a familiar shiver !..!..! ♥ ♪ ♥ ♫ ♥ ☼ !..!..!

  • LOVE IT!!! thanks for posting!!

  • A spectacular production. Thank you so much for posting this video.

  • this song is very, very beautiful, when I started listening to mourn, I love this song

  • I love Eleanor McEvoy singing this. I don't think you can surpass Eleanor, but CW CAN equal her. That's what these ladies did!

  • Simply wonderful. Those gowns!!! They are the most beautiful gowns I've ever seen.

Beautiful song too! Please keep uploading them. I'm lovin it.

  • Loved this song soooooo much, thanks for posting

  • Not gonna lie. This song did nothing for me. Lol Of course, I'm a guy...so I don't know how low a woman's heart goes... :D

I love the singers though! They have voices like nobody's business! :)

  • Not bad..not bad....another great song..thanks :)
