I eat meat, boo I know but I eat kosher or halal meat, I find industrialized meat factories to be horrid, as well as animal testing and any other torture of animals such as the fur trade, free the animals
Think what you want and say what you want but the bottom line is animals suffer horrificly at the hands of inhuman beings. If you educate yourself on how animals live their lives on factory farm, fur farms, along with bull, cock, dog fightings. It no different than what goes on in an abortion clinics where babies are murdered while in the womb or what the catholic church did during the inquisition or the holocousts that the mass murdering dictators like hitler, stalin, mao, etc. just the degree
The term terrorist is used for those that the government dislikes. I personally think that the Animal Liberation Front is working very well, but bringing that one step further would be to simply kill the people that would do harm to animals that otherwise have no way of defending themselves.
Who is going 2 defend those whom cannot defend themselves? I do not agree with violence, but these giant blood-sucking corporations use violence against animals as standard FDA approved practice. It makes me sick 2 see these images of animal brutality therefore I believe someone must take action.
@Mr13born79 yes it is, but I guess we are going to cause suffering somehow, somewhere along the line but it's when it's a deliberate act of cruelty against an animal is what the A.L.F is talking about and where the person or persons are making a lot of money off of that suffering that the animals go through for profit.
@emmijadeable If you feel this way, wouldn't the best action be to stop driving a car and become a vegan instead of violence against other humans and/or their structures and ways of life? Isn't peaceful boycotting a viable option instead of trying to force someone's opinion to change? (I bet some insects were harmed in the Arby's glass shattering incident.)
@emmijadeable Huh? That wasn't a very constructive reply. I'm curious and asking questions. Fuck. Don't be a snooty bitch about it. Or is it that you don't like my questions because they're going somewhere you don't want to go, and you're taking the personal-insult way out?
@emmijadeable Well...thanks, I guess. You didn't really answer my question. Is this the predominant stance of ALF members?
I have to wonder where the line is drawn. Do we place insects (they are animals, too) on the same level as humans? It may sound ridiculous, and you can give me shit if you want, but, abiding these feelings, should it not be a toss-up as to whether we swerve our cars to avoid killing an insect, and thus crash into and kill someone else in another vehicle?
@Mr13born79 that guy you were talking about, the one that said he wouldn't see a rat killed just to save a human was referring to experiments on rats because scientists believe by testing on them it will further research to save human lives, which it actually hasn't and no, I wouldn't be able to see an insect when I was driving to be honest so I wouldn't be aware of it but if I were, I wouldn't hit another car and kill it's occupants to avoid killing an insect but I would feel bad.
@emmijadeable Testing on animals hasn't furthered research to save human lives? I don't know how you can claim that. What about AIDS/HIV treatments and their drug safety trials?
@Mr13born79 if animal testing were so successful then why do these diseases persist to exist? There are alot of vaccines that will be effective against these diseases for animals but none for humans.
@emmijadeable Have you not noticed the advancement in HIV/AIDS treatment in the last 20 years? HIV/AIDS is no longer a death sentence. Just because a disease persists doesn't mean that advancements haven't been made in fighting it.
@Mr13born79 I don't know I'm only 21 so no, I haven't noticed the advances you speak of in the last 20 years. But know this, animals should not be experimented on because people have taken risks with their sexuality it's not the animals fault is it? Maybe the humans involved should voluntarily test the trials of drugs they have produced, since their sadly in a no win situation.
@emmijadeable OK. "...risks with their sexuality..." You're a moron. (Yes, I'm now, myself, going for the personal insults, since those are all you seem to rely on.) Hey, listen. The 80s called. They want their stereotype of HIV/AIDS being a gay/promiscuous man's disease back. (Ever hear of some things going on in certain countries in Africa?)
Do you still want to try to mock me about not being informed and not being able to have an intelligent conversation?
@Mr13born79 it first had it origins back to Western Africa where it's thought that people there hunted monkeys which they killed and ate so the S.I.V (virus) which was present in the monkeys was transferred to humans as H.I.V It's been around for many years just wasn't discovered in Western society till the 80's but the 1st cases were among gay men. That's not to blame it on any one group but that is how it first came to light amongst westerners & sadly the disease killed many.
@Mr13born79 vivisectors can adorne themselves in the aura of science & most of the time that's all they need to convince society that vivisection is essential. The scientific community uses this propaganda alot but we have enough knowledge now to abolish animal experimentation altogether the two species can't be more different,we take up substances differently, we metabolize them differently,we live longer & we are exposed to a multitude of environmental factors that animals aren't.
@emmijadeable Durp. "Aura" of science? Humans "take up substances differently", we "metabolize them differently", we "live longer"??? Fucking god you're stupid.
@emmijadeable "I'm only 21 so no, I haven't noticed the advances you speak of in the last 20 years." You're judging me on my lack of knowledge? Who's writing this stuff for you?
@Mr13born79 It's called "sarcasm" & it seems this topic has gotten away from what really matters & that is the animals that suffer during experiments sadly for the "progress" of medicine because the law is lagging behind what science is actually telling us.
Look at the guy at min marker 3:32. Yeah, of course, ALF is a terrorist to you and to your kind because you stuff your fat ass with meat day in and day out. Anyone who might take your chicken wings away from you is a terrorist. Duh.
I'm completely pro animal rights but I do doubt whether violent actions is the overall most justified choice as it gives a bad image for animal rights supporters (unfortunately) and the question is will date detourance have a larger negative effect in gaining vegetarians and vegans to save animals lives rather than the positive effect of the animals potentially saved in the havoc caused amongst the meat industry
In my opinion that's the question to determine whether this is right or wrong
Take a look at human history. Anytime a social change against injustice took place was when laws were broken and violence had to be used. You think slavery ended all peacefully?
Why isn't anyone calling our own military "terrorists"??????? Blowing up herds of sheep being walked by their herder and stray dogs being grenaded, sheep being beat to death with bats?? That's terrorism to me, because when I watch the videos they post, I'm TERRIFIED. These are the same men protecting our country????
I LOVE A.L.F. AND ALL YOU DO! I SUPPORT YOU 200%!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT YOU DO IS WHAT SHOULD BE DONE SINCE THE GOVERNMENT AND STATES DO NOT CARE TO MAKE CHANGE. ANIMAL ABUSERS SUCK AND THEY NEED TO BE PUT IN CHECK. WHO ELSE IS GONNA DO IT? WHO ELSE IS GOING TO SAVE ANIMALS? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@boomerang403 Yeah, say that to an FBI agent's face. See how far that gets you. It'll probably get you all the way to an extended vacation in Club Fed. The true meaning of terrorism is the act of using reprehensible scare tactics, including, but not limited to, killing to make an example of would-be opposition, to achieve a means. Death threats, vandalism, and property damage all count as terrorism. Any way you slice it, it's wrong. And so are you, if you disagree.
I can't believe how many people are actually brainwashed by the media to think that these guys are terrorists. I'm no vegan or vegetarian, but I don't support the idea of torture to animals. Animals have become the standard for profit, and abuse. I don't think it's terrorism to fight back against something everyone knows is wrong. Support the ALF
@AwesomenessIskey "I can't believe how many people are actually brainwashed by the media to think that these guys are terrorists." Yes, they're are not terrorists, except for the fact that they most of them are: A) Criminals B) Convicted arsonists C) Stupid assholes.
All these arguments are completely idiotic. Anyone who agrees with the horrendous torture animals go through ought to be tortured themselves and then forced to take a class on anatomy to teach them that animals feel just as much as they do (the specific species eaten and tested on, at any rate). All these anti-ALF oricks must only care for their stupid economy. Get a clue, people.
@vgman94 Do you know what animals do to each other in the wilderness, like in the Africa etc. Did you know that some beasts choke their victims for 2 hours, and over until their victim is dead? Does that make them any better than the people who kill animals? Would a hungry lion/any other animal spare your life? What do you expect, they're mass produced animals, do you think caring and loving umpa lumpas take care of them? Nope, they're just killed.
@DarkSoulsOST You do understand animals in the wild hunt for survival, right? I mean it's either killing or slow, painful starvation. There is no other choice. We have a clear choice, and even have better alternatives to animal testing (farming is a necessity for a minority who can't survive off a vegetarian diet, but the farming practices can still be far better). 2 hours? There is no animal like that, and the closest is the parasitic Wasp which uses tarantulas as hosts for their offspring.
@vgman94 Did you know, that vegetables have the same stimulants which cause pain, etc. + There are some predator species who will choke their victim, for a long time.
@DarkSoulsOST They have a form of nervous system, yes. But they do not have brains of any form to interpret that pain. Big cats are mainly the predators who choke their victims and that lasts anywhere from a minute to a few seconds. Yes, I own pets. Cats, specifically. Killer of 168 people? You call a killer who murdered over 100 people saner than a society that has never harmed any human (PETA has it's share of crimes by euthanizing healthy pets)? That logic is deeply flawed, I believe.
@DarkSoulsOST Scare tactics are different from actual murder, if that's what you're implying. Arson is illegal yes. But you ignore the fact that the ALF members wait until everyone is out of the facility before burning it. A large part of the reason arson has always been illegal is the danger it puts on people, which any ALF member takes measures to avoid.
@vgman94 And a quote from a man, not exactly an ordinary guy: ""Truth is, I understand your cause - I've seen slaughter houses myself - but I still believe in reasonable taking and eating of game (as an outdoorsman and hunter)... I cannot sustain a prolonged intellectual debate on the subject as my time is short, but I'd suggest hitting Ted Kaczynski up for his opinions on the subject. [...] Where do you draw the line and what standard is used to define that line?" To be continued...
@vgman94 ... "Those that are in it for the health benefits accept poultry and fish as edible. Where do those opposed to suffering stand? (Ever see a fish struggling out of water?) What about grubs/worms/etc.? And finally, plants are alive too, they react to stimuli (including pain); have circulation systems, etc. So how about them?" —Tim McVeigh, killer of 168 people: too sane for PETA
@Ariosophist8814 - That Rodney doesn't appear to be a faggot. And he doesn't look anything like Obama. I don't think anyone else finds it funny. I'd think they'd find you stupid and blind.
This is fucking stupid. Fucking bootleg version of Nazi soldiers for stupid fucking animals. I'd love to be these plant eating faggots with a fucking pipe.
It's find trying to help animals. I want to stop animal abuse. But when you think it's fine to kill humans for no reason (humans are animals btw) it's just sad and pathetic. Do something about it. Help people treat animals in a humane manner. Blowing everyone up won't do shit. It makes people hate you more.
@PissedPlayinPimp There is something called Global Warming that is occuring and the meat industry plays one of the biggest roles in this planetary destruction. So yes, one could say that meat has a little to do with the problems our world is facing. It is not paranoia, it is fact. But to be honest, it's really ignorance that is main cause of destruction. Best wishes
These media people are clueless and trying to sell us lies as usual.
Truly man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men. ~Leonardo da Vinci
Truely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men. ~Leonardo da Vinci
“What I am doing is going along with the fact that I live in a society where meat eating is accepted as the norm, it requires a level of social courage to break out of it. It's like the position which many people would have held a couple of hundred years ago over slavery. Lots of people felt morally uneasy about slavery but went along with it because the economy of the South depended upon slavery" Richard Dawkins
What's terribly irresponsible are people who eat animals that give profits to executioners. It's no surprise that people around the planet have exploded into another World War over saving lives, destroying profits of animal exploiters any way they can! What I don't get are ELF types that'll target civilians, unless it was targeting the homes of those who are directly responsible for incessant pollution. I'm not as familiar with Earth Liberation Front as with ALF. Lines seem a lot CLEARER w/ALF.
The human body has no more need for cows' milk than it does for dogs' milk, horses' milk, or giraffes' milk. ~Michael Klaper
Recognize meat for what it really is: the antibiotic- and pesticide-laden corpse of a tortured animal. ~Ingrid Newkirk
I will not eat anything that walks, runs, skips, hops or crawls. God knows that I've crawled on occasion, and I'm glad that no one ate me. ~Alex Poulos
A man of my spiritual intensity does not eat corpses. ~George Bernard Shaw
I can't wait to see expressions of meat/diary eaters' faces when they find out they have cancer or heart disease...you eat flesh, chicken periods and steal baby food of other species...99% of meat eaters have no clue about ecology and the fact that eating meat causes green gasses, hunger & biggest Earth pollution = that's why much more extreme weather is to be expected on planet Earth...so thank meat eaters for storms, crazy snow, crazy heat & tornados... and polar ice is melting & rising water
I'd call them freedom fighters for the voiceless not terrorists! The real terrorists are those engaging in the systematic daily mass torture and murder of non-human animals for food, clothing and animal testing. I personally don't engage in these conflicts but if the cause is just then I don't see a problem with property destruction of exploiters and murderers. Property is not alive and can not feel pain, but animals are and do and are systematically used and abused by a speciesist society.
Animals can't defend ther self's so ALF & PETA do it ; these People are the biggest heroe's i know and i'm totaly fine with it that Peta supports ALF !!
@ChickXEmox oh yr cool.. how about you get fucking educated and realize wtf is going on around this fucking greedy selfish fucked up world and realize that at least SOME people care about issues in this world and are willing to risk their lives and freedom for others.. they are the voice for the voiceless. and before you go and bash on PETA and the ALF.. uhm ChickXEmox? no wonder yr such a fucking ignorant fucking idiot. drop the FUCK dead. k? k.
@JUSTICEf0rJUSTICE Are you really comparing animals to human beings? You are a horrible human being. I'll admit that there are animals being abused and I'll stand up for anyone trying to stop animal abuse, but firebombing testing labs and harassing families is too fucking far.
Besides, maybe worry about humans in other countries who literally have no rights and are slaves before firebombing a lab.
@TheMasterTelevision yr a fucking pussy shut the fuck up. hah animal rights will never go underground and i fucking hope yr next mhaw! :) hahahahahhahahahahahaha
@JUSTICEf0rJUSTICE Something tells me you're not really for animal rights. whatever though, it was amusing to see that this is actually what people believe.
@TheMasterTelevision oh, and yr just an uneducated piece of shit that you would actually stand up for this shitty fucking apathetic human race. omg yr one of the reasons people fucking hate the human race <3
@d34thd34l3rx you support vandalism and destruction of properties? you're saying that there isn't any other peaceful method to increase awareness and take public action? worthless
@d34thd34l3rx im worthless for bashing the use of violence as a form of protest? it sure increases awareness but not in a positive manner. there certainly are better ways to make your point get through to others. you just proved my earlier point, ALF = kids excise for vandalism.
@parrrrot there may be "better" ways, but those ways don't always work. meaning, you have to resort to extreme measures to get your fucking point across. ALF does NOT = kids excise for vandalism at all...funny you call them kids too, when most if not all of them, are adults. moron.
@Zolazora32 My condolences zola, for your lack of empathy, lack of knowledge, lack of honesty and most of all your lack of vision to see that you are on the wrong side of history. ALF RULES!
@Zolazora32 The underground railroad would have been called terrorism back then. Any type of cruel practice for which there are active people against it doesn't make it terrorism. Terrorism are uncalled for acts of warfare, such as 9/11. This is stopping needless cruelty. Don't be brainwashed by our corrupt government. Animals are not objects. They can feel, suffer and do possess emotions. They're the ones being terrorized.
@Zolazora32 And? The people they put in danger are reprehensible criminals who have done far more harm to sentient beings than ALF has. If someone used arson against Hitler, you wouldn't call it terrorism. Some more inexperienced people put animals in danger as they can't live in the wild. But they never killed a human (The Animal Rights Militia are the ones that have), just frightened them out of their immoral jobs.
@vgman94 If someone used arson to attack hitler and put people and animals in danger all around while releasing toxins and incredible levels of damaging carbon dioxide into the atmosphere I would call that irresponsible. .A criminal is someone doing an unlawful act. Seeing as I know quite a few years of law study I know what they are not "criminals". Also, ALF has gotten close to killing people. They have also destroyed many animal lives and homes of those living close to the arson areas. Fact.
The ALF are not terrorists they are simply defenders of the vulnerable members of our communities and societies, why should children and the elderly be protected by laws when animals are not? after all we are all citizens of earth.
the question shouldn't be one of terrorism the question should be "Is tradition and appetite justifiable defence to allow the wholesale genocide of sentient and living beings"? of course that answer is NO so the ALF must exist until the society we live in becomes just
Why give money to starving people when all they'll do is breed MORE starving people? How about saving some lives that CAN'T defend themselves? And let's get down to the basics. The only reason you defend other people is because if you were in that situation, you'd want to be chosen over your cat or dog. You selfish prick. This type of disgusting pride is good proof of why humans are mostly an monstrous species. You think about yourselves first and blind yourself to other sentient species plight.
Wow, that has to be one of the most disturbing and perturbed responses I've ever come across. So you said a stupid animal over someone of your own species? You truly are a miserable piece of shit. So what are you going to do when you see a group of starving people? You're also going to call them a bunch of selfish pricks? So if humans are so monstrous why don't you take a gun and go shoot yourself? You're human are you not?
@TheAntiV Will you mindless pieces of shit shut up with that "go kill yourself" idiocy? Can't you incompassionate morons be serious? No, I wouldn't call starving people selfish, but it is no more selfish than what you say about animals. Do you even know what empathy is? It's putting yourself in another's place. And if you were in the place of any of the animals whose rights you fight against, you wouldn't be against their rights. Just because I'm human, that doesn't mean I'm speciesist.
LOL!!! You see this is why I love the complete stupidity of animal rights activists. I can have empathy in animals but to think that they have rights is honestly the most silly of claims I've ever heard. Rights are given to people who are our equal is incredibly unrealistic.
@TheAntiV Speciesism is descrimination based on species. It does exist. If it didn't, you wouldn't be arguing against animal rights and saying they are of "lesser" species. Rights are given to people because they need protection from immoral agents. Murderers, thieves, rapists et al. Intelligence isn't the defining factor in rights. IF this were the case, scientists would or should, according to you, be on higher positions like the senate, congress and presidency and other White House offices.
That's because they are lesser. Is it not painfully obvious? Again there is no reasonable evidence to suggest that animals are our equal. To believe in such silly things is completely emotional and not rational.
You're also forgetting that their a difference between having intelligence and having the potential into becoming intelligent. Not everyone is a scientist but many could become one. Can an animal? Nope.
@TheAntiV To say humans are inherently above other species is emotional. You have a deep-seeded need for preference and fear being rejected for what you were taught to be a "lesser" being. They may not be as intelligent, but as I was about to continue on my previous comment, sentience is not solely contingent on intelligence. There is an amount of mental understanding one has. Just because "we all have potential", that does not mean a given individual can do a given thing.
Carl Cohen argued that racism and sexism are wrong because there are no relevant differences between the sexes or races. Between people and animals however, there are significant differences, and they do not qualify for Kantian personhood, and as such have no rights.
You said it yourself dipshit, that humans are monstrous and can't be able to breed. So why no shooty shooty? I mean it's for the animals right?
@TheAntiV If I shoot myself, I'd be letting you ignorant asswipes control everything, including the fate of my pets, and I doubt you'd give them fair and moral treatment as you've already been brainwashed into believing every thing they do is "instinct." Stop reading Descartes and read up on some Schopenhauer. Peter Singer, Tom Regan aand Gary Francione have a few good article to ponder. I'll give you a quote on my next comment. But first, I have mentioned the diencephalon, right?
@vgman94 No to say humans are inherently above other species is rational and evident. There's also the fact that are emotions and more complex.and run deeper within us. Plus, since you're accusing me of being selfish, how do you not know that animals are the selfish ones? The fact is the matter you're nothing but a slave to animals due to your childish view of the world. And what's even worse you're a slave to something that can barely comprehend the world we live in.
@TheAntiV What? I thought your comments ceased. Evident? On what? Intelligence? When you can't even see sentience in other animals, how can you be superior? If you had any type of depth perception, you would be able to tell the difference between instinct and basic thought, which is what mist animals have. Simple thoughts, but it is still a form of sentience. Extremely similar to an infant, in fact. Whales have been shown to have complex languages of their own...
Do animals have complex language skills? Can they perform basic math problems? Can they hypothesize about the world around them? Nope, even almost the most stupid of our species are less inept than most animals.
Also, why don't you show the same concern for plants? Are they not also living things? Hell even a few crazy people have made the case that they are also sentient. Speak about preferential treatment.
@TheAntiV I am not PETA, thank you. I don't believe pets are slaves unless the owner/guardian treats them with less than rights-bearing beings. Of course there are breaches, but that does not mean they don't deserve the right to space, affection and care. And they give much of that back. Basic math = no. We as a species created math and only we know how it works and which symbols equal which. No other species could unless they were sapient in nature. Plants don't have brains to feel pain, nor...
@TheAntiV ... Nor emotions. They have no awareness of the world around them like most animals do. Even fish can see and know where to move and run from dangerous. That is basic sentience/consciousness. Hypothesizing is something rare, something only the highest animals like corvids and possibly dolphins can do, and that can only be called imagination.
@V Reason? Really? Your reasoning is helping the world overpopulate more so more animals can be shot, tormented in farms and burned, poisoned and shocked in labs. If you don't believe that stuff happens in labs, you haven;' researched it. You want to help species that'll annihilate many others. That isn't reason, especially when many humans aren't loving as animals can be. I never said animals weren't sentient. They obviously are. You can feel pain and have emotions, i.e. why they need rights.
Yes, so more animals (which are of lesser species) can be used in order to better help the human race. It's called nature, you little dimwit. Grow the fuck up. Life isn't like what you watched in Lion King.
Feeling pain have having emotions doesn't mean they are intelligent. Also you're mistaking emotion of instinctive behavior.
@TheAntiV Instinctive behavior? Coming around for affection is instinctive, but that is the same with humans. I feel unusually affectionate at times, but isn't that an instinct? You're confusing instincts with an actual, working mind. Animals are more interconnected with their instincts, but that doesn't mean they have no cognition or thought. Otherwise my cat wouldn't make a specific call specifically in my presence. Instinct is not a synonym for mindless, by the way.
No it isn't. Instinctive behavior is behavior that is wired into their system. They have no choice. We only the other hand can make a choice on what our actions should be on a given situation. Animals ability for their cognitive reasoning is extremely limited to ours to the point that their brain and actions work automatically. The ability for animals to make specific calls for different things doesn't make them very sentient either.
@TheAntiV And how do you know this? Have you evern been an animal? I should know as I have had the freedom to be very animal-like myself and follow more of my instincts than most people can, but does that means I have no mind? Just because animals have instincts stronger than ours and depend on them more, that does not mean they aren't sentient. So saying whoa for this and shit for that wouldn't make us sentient? To recognize different stimuli, you need a mind.
well time to put on my leather coat and go to KFC for a chicken

@Mr13born79 that guy you were talking about, the one that said he wouldn't see a rat killed just to save a human was referring to experiments on rats because scientists believe by testing on them it will further research to save human lives, which it actually hasn't and no, I wouldn't be able to see an insect when I was driving to be honest so I wouldn't be aware of it but if I were, I wouldn't hit another car and kill it's occupants to avoid killing an insect but I would feel bad.
emmijadeable 2 weeks ago
@emmijadeable Testing on animals hasn't furthered research to save human lives? I don't know how you can claim that. What about AIDS/HIV treatments and their drug safety trials?
Mr13born79 2 weeks ago
@Mr13born79 if animal testing were so successful then why do these diseases persist to exist? There are alot of vaccines that will be effective against these diseases for animals but none for humans.
emmijadeable 2 weeks ago
@emmijadeable Have you not noticed the advancement in HIV/AIDS treatment in the last 20 years? HIV/AIDS is no longer a death sentence. Just because a disease persists doesn't mean that advancements haven't been made in fighting it.
Mr13born79 2 weeks ago
@Mr13born79 I don't know I'm only 21 so no, I haven't noticed the advances you speak of in the last 20 years. But know this, animals should not be experimented on because people have taken risks with their sexuality it's not the animals fault is it? Maybe the humans involved should voluntarily test the trials of drugs they have produced, since their sadly in a no win situation.
emmijadeable 2 weeks ago
@emmijadeable OK. "...risks with their sexuality..." You're a moron. (Yes, I'm now, myself, going for the personal insults, since those are all you seem to rely on.) Hey, listen. The 80s called.

@vgman94 Do you know what animals do to each other in the wilderness, like in the Africa etc. Did you know that some beasts choke their victims for 2 hours, and over until their victim is dead? Does that make them any better than the people who kill animals? Would a hungry lion/any other animal spare your life? What do you expect, they're mass produced animals, do you think caring and loving umpa lumpas take care of them? Nope, they're just killed.
DarkSoulsOST 2 months ago
@DarkSoulsOST You do understand animals in the wild hunt for survival, right? I mean it's either killing or slow, painful starvation. There is no other choice. We have a clear choice, and even have better alternatives to animal testing (farming is a necessity for a minority who can't survive off a vegetarian diet, but the farming practices can still be far better). 2 hours? There is no animal like that, and the closest is the parasitic Wasp which uses tarantulas as hosts for their offspring.
vgman94 2 months ago
@vgman94 Did you know, that vegetables have the same stimulants which cause pain, etc. + There are some predator species who will choke their victim, for a long time.
DarkSoulsOST 2 months ago
@DarkSoulsOST They have a form of nervous system, yes. But they do not have brains of any form to interpret that pain. Big cats are mainly the predators who choke their victims and that lasts anywhere from a minute to a few seconds. Yes, I own pets. Cats, specifically. Killer of 168 people? You call a killer who murdered over 100 people saner than a society that has never harmed any human (PETA has it's share of crimes by euthanizing healthy pets)? That logic is deeply flawed, I believe.
vgman94 2 months ago
@vgman94 Arsonism is a crime, PETA members have done that, and threatened to kill people because they eat meat.
DarkSoulsOST 2 months ago
@DarkSoulsOST Scare tactics are different from actual murder, if that's what you're implying. Arson is illegal yes. But you ignore the fact that the ALF members wait until everyone is out of the facility before burning it. A large part of the reason arson has always been illegal is the danger it puts on people, which any ALF member takes measures to avoid.

They can feel, suffer and do possess emotions. They're the ones being terrorized.
vgman94 5 months ago
@vgman94 Terrorism- acts to spark fear in people.
Arson can be pretty scary. Especially that one time ALF set fire to that lab with a man still in it. They use threats all the time.
To say they are not a terrorist organization putting people and animals in danger is ignorant.
Zolazora32 5 months ago
@Zolazora32 And? The people they put in danger are reprehensible criminals who have done far more harm to sentient beings than ALF has. If someone used arson against Hitler, you wouldn't call it terrorism. Some more inexperienced people put animals in danger as they can't live in the wild. But they never killed a human (The Animal Rights Militia are the ones that have), just frightened them out of their immoral jobs.
vgman94 5 months ago
@vgman94 If someone used arson to attack hitler and put people and animals in danger all around while releasing toxins and incredible levels of damaging carbon dioxide into the atmosphere I would call that irresponsible. .A criminal is someone doing an unlawful act. They have also destroyed many animal lives and homes of those living close to the arson areas. Fact.

TheAntiV 6 months ago
Why give money to starving people when all they'll do is breed MORE starving people? How about saving some lives that CAN'T defend themselves? And let's get down to the basics. The only reason you defend other people is because if you were in that situation, you'd want to be chosen over your cat or dog. You selfish prick. This type of disgusting pride is good proof of why humans are mostly an monstrous species. You think about yourselves first and blind yourself to other sentient species plight.
vgman94 6 months ago
@vgman94
TheAntiV 6 months ago
@TheAntiV Will you mindless pieces of shit shut up with that "go kill yourself" idiocy? Can't you incompassionate morons be serious? No, I wouldn't call starving people selfish, but it is no more selfish than what you say about animals. Do you even know what empathy is? It's putting yourself in another's place. And if you were in the place of any of the animals whose rights you fight against, you wouldn't be against their rights. Just because I'm human, that doesn't mean I'm speciesist.
vgman94 6 months ago
@vgman94
LOL!!! You see this is why I love the complete stupidity of animal rights activists. I can have empathy in animals but to think that they have rights is honestly the most silly of claims I've ever heard. Rights are given to people who are our equal is incredibly unrealistic.
Also specieism doesn't exist.
TheAntiV 6 months ago
@TheAntiV Speciesism is descrimination based on species. It does exist. If it didn't, you wouldn't be arguing against animal rights and saying they are of "lesser" species. Rights are given to people because they need protection from immoral agents. Murderers, thieves, rapists et al. Intelligence isn't the defining factor in rights. IF this were the case, scientists would or should, according to you, be on higher positions like the senate, congress and presidency and other White House offices.
vgman94 6 months ago
@vgman94
Nope.
TheAntiV 6 months ago
@TheAntiV To say humans are inherently above other species is emotional. You have a deep-seeded need for preference and fear being rejected for what you were taught to be a "lesser" being. They may not be as intelligent, but as I was about to continue on my previous comment, sentience is not solely contingent on intelligence. There is an amount of mental understanding one has. Just because "we all have potential", that does not mean a given individual can do a given thing.
vgman94 6 months ago
@vgman94

@vgman94

@vgman94
I hope one day when you end up starving, no one helps you and that they leave you to rot. It's not selfishness or pride. It's compassion and reason.
Also, animals are sentient you fucking cunt.
TheAntiV 6 months ago
@V Reason?

@vgman94
TheAntiV 6 months ago
@TheAntiV Instinctive behavior? Coming around for affection is instinctive, but that is the same with humans. I feel unusually affectionate at times, but isn't that an instinct? You're confusing instincts with an actual, working mind. Animals are more interconnected with their instincts, but that doesn't mean they have no cognition or thought. Otherwise my cat wouldn't make a specific call specifically in my presence. Instinct is not a synonym for mindless, by the way.
vgman94 6 months ago
@vgman94
TheAntiV 6 months ago
@TheAntiV And how do you know this? Have you evern been an animal? I should know as I have had the freedom to be very animal-like myself and follow more of my instincts than most people can, but does that means I have no mind? Just because animals have instincts stronger than ours and depend on them more, that does not mean they aren't sentient. So saying whoa for this and shit for that wouldn't make us sentient? To recognize different stimuli, you need a mind.
