I don't understand why the police haven't arrested the step-mom for attempted murder for trying to hire a hit on her husband.Then once in jail put pressure on her for the disapperance of Kyron.Bet she would talk once behind bars for awhile.Step mom is hiding something.

Terri Horman reminds me of my ex-wife, the one who disappeared from Oregon with our four children 14 years ago in a Mormon kidnapping.

The Oregon legislature passed a landmark anti-kidnapping bill, Senate Bill 1041, “Aaron’s Law”, named for my late son Aaron Cruz, in 2005, the year that my son died.

His parents couldnt even manage to keep themselves from drifting apart, no surprize this kid is lost. People put their own interests ahead of their kid's, no wonder this sucker is gone. And its a load of "boohooing" once the parents reach celeb status on the news channels...

In the majority of the cases, it does turn out to be the parent/ step parent. But, don't forget Jaycee Dugard and Victoria Stafford. Both of those were complete strangers, and they got away with it.

In the majority of these cases, it turns out to be a parent, usually the step mother or mother. Sorry, but those are the facts. It's very rare that just some random stranger walks into a school and gets away with it. I'm sure in this case it will turn out to be the stepmother.

Just saw the breaking news today, June 13th, that this is now considered a criminal case and now offering a $25,000 reward. Does this video / news make other parents cry like me? I am so worried about all this, that I plan on keeping our 6 yr old twin boys home for the last 2 days of school - last day is June 15th. I just can't deal with this.. it all worries me and reminds me of what Westley Allan Dodd did to 50 victims before they finally caught him in the PacNW long ago.

@CindyPDX Yeah, I remember the Wesley Alan Dodd case. That was around 1990 when he kidnapped and raped the Isley boy from a Portland park. He took him to his house in Washington and tortured him for three days before he killed him. It was the most violent crime to a child I'd ever heard of. Dodd shortly thereafter got the death penalty and fortunately got hung for his crimes. Now Portland's got a similar case. We're all holding onto our kids very tightly.

I think it is the step mother because she is the last person he was with. Also, if there was a stranger in the school someone would have noticed. I fear he is dead.

Why no AMBER ALERT??? When I was his age, kids would walk to and from school alone, no worries. I'd go to the neighborhood pool or park by myself. Kidnapping was so rare. Nowadays what kind of sick perverted society is this where your own kid isn't even safe playing in his back yard alone? Never do I see a youngster walking anywhere alone. The only safe place for sex offenders is in jail for life, 'cause all the therapy in the world doesn't cure them.

Whatever you have done to him, letting him live will make a difference and prove you have a human heart. PLEASE just give him back. Hello How is everyone, I think that the school shold be searched because he can be anywhere. i remember a chase where a person was found in a service closet. All small places should be searched. I have two small nephews  My prayer go to the family of Kyron. Hope he is found soon
