Tells you what happens when someone gets hitch slapped

  • @ApostateOfTheDamned lol genius.

  • People so desperate to disprove God.

    Why u so desperate???? seriously?

Jesus never said abandon ur family this guy is just basically making up lies about what it says and taking things out of context because he's so desperate to prove a point. again why so desperate?

The cencus did exist even a Roman source tells of a cencus wich caused alot of unrest in the region. again why you lying ?? Why so desperate u tell lies? Roman record prove you wrong.

  • @AlexiusMoore

Sorry. Your wrong about that. Jesus does say that unless you hate your brothers, sisters, mother, and father that you can't follow him. One might suggest Jesus was saying that you must love him more than your parents. But careful study of the biblical texts will turn up that Jesus very often encouraged people to give away there posseions and lives.

And by the way do you wanna cite a source for this census? What Roman record are you talking about?

  • @Byronjesk6004 Again you've proved my point. Taking things out of context.

It doesn't say that you can't follow him, it say's you can't be his disciple if you do not recognize the evil of this world and hate it, even if it means hating those you love , because they are infected by the evil

The disciples needed to recognize all evil ,including themselves and their families, if they where to spread jesus's real Word.

Josephus wrote of the census. Before you ask no he wasn't a Christian

  • @AlexiusMoore Hate the sin, not the sinner. You've just misinterpreted your own bible. :P

  • @AlexiusMoore please cite the passage where Josephus wrote of the Roman census.

  • @AlexiusMoore In Matthew 19:29 Jesus says "And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."

  • I dont wanna play this game already just needed a bit understanding not from God neither someone do understand me , needed from you guys cuz we live together after all.

Forgive me God i know well you also dont know why those people acting doing tricking themself only like that but Satan or whoever is the badest there , is a little drop compare to mine hating and really real pleasure of dark. Btw i wish there was no God and after our useless life we just dissaper ..i just want it more now and ...

  • @ILOVENEUTRALpOINT Well your wish came true, it must be a miracle! God is not real.

  • @YouWillSufferUntoMe xD xD xD if its must be a miracle dont wonder when born the real "haters" killing for pleasure want to take down this useless world

  • @YouWillSufferUntoMe Because this way you seems forget to die XD we give a shit then belive me

  • @ILOVENEUTRALpOINT

    which god?

  • Getting bored of those videos at all of people . OK true i hate poeple long time ago xD the reason is not only that you can all just think for 1 minute all those videos today , one of the "team" talking me against God because of their brain trying them search and search more facts so feel glory or rightneous nevermind they afraid very hard deep from people eyes like mine. Other team are those talking about God exist , this is oblivius they talk with soul however what about those like me?

  • where is this video from? is there a longer portion available to watch? hitchens is on a role as usual in this piece..

  • @penrun Freedom Fest 2008

  • There is no use for what you just said

  • I don't have divine though, yet with reason I see through all the lies of religion. Imagine if I had something called divine thought.

  • Hitchens is now one with God...i.e. he doesn't exist. RAmen.

  • Imagine there's no Hitchens...it's easy if you try.

Oh...that's right--> there is no Hitchens. yuk yuk yuk

Except in the afterlife, of course.

  • @uranatheisttwit Are you seriously laughing because someone died? That is the sickness of religion.

  • @reapicus557 I'm an agnostic shithead.

What are you going to say now hypocrite?

  • @uranatheisttwit I am going to point you towards a dictionary so that you can read what a 'hypocrite' really is. My point still stands, laughing because someone died is sick. Saying that you are of a secular mind just makes it worse. At least if you were religious you could have a crappy excuse for being a sick fuck.

  • @reapicus557 You're a sick fuck? Yeah..you are Sparky.

Hitchens was a bigoted asshole. He deserves no mercy.

    You don't either.

  • @uranatheisttwit Hitchens was a very objective and intelligent asshole; he was very far from bigotry. Simply because you disagree with his views does not warrant him harm. Deserve mercy you say, yet mercy from who? You? The magic man in the sky? I have harmed no one and neither did Mr. Hitchens. You need to rethink this pointless hostility that you seem to shamelessly flaunt to hide your ignorance.

  • @reapicus557 Intelligent to idiots,yes.To intelligent people...nah.

Bigot:a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (e.g., a religious group) with hatred and intolerance.

Oh yeah...if Hitchens wasn't a bigot then Archie Bunker wasn't one.

Oh, by the way hypocritical bigot: I'm an agnostic. So you can take your "man

in the sky/unicorn" bullshit and stick it.

    You're both bigots.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nerfi Sorry to ruin you Christian-bashing party dufus but I'm an agnostic.

You atheists are so goddamned ignorant, hateful and hypocritical.

  • @uranatheisttwit I wasn't bashing Christians, I was bashing your behavior. Being agnostic is not an excuse to treat other people, anonymous or not, with disrespect and indignity. If you use your lack of belief in divinity as an excuse to act without moral conscience, then you are scum.

  • @uranatheisttwit Also, "You atheists ... hateful and hypocritical" is overwhelmingly ironic. If you generalize atheists to be such a way, and hate them for it, then you are being ignorant and hateful. Which makes you a hypocrite.

  • @Nerfi No silly twit. I know REAL INTELLIGENT atheists. Indeed, I used to be one.

They never come on YT though. So, of course, I'm just speaking of your garden-variety YT atheist twit. Like you.

I don't hate atheists, especially intelligent ones. I do hate bigots though, which most

    YT "atheists" really are.

    Comprende bigot?

  • @uranatheisttwit Sitting at your comp and calling strangers bigots simply because they disagree with your crappy attitude is pointless. The only point being argued is that you are being very intolerant and hateful. So you can take your labels and piss off. If you want to have an actual philosophical argument about something link me to a chat room or something. This waste of youtube comment space is over.

  • @reapicus557 reapthecunt: "Blahblahblahblah...something stupid and pompous...blahblahblahblah....I'm so much smarter than you (at least I HOPE so)...blahblahblahblah...I have no idea what a bigot is because I'm stupid...blahblahblahblah.

sigh...you're such a lameass, intellectually lazy little prick son.

    ciao punk.

  • I'm not an atheist, actually, and how you construed my comments as bigoted is beyond me. I had thought that maybe you were a rational person, but you're just a troll getting his kicks so I'm done.

  • @uranatheisttwit "I do hate bigots though, which most YT "atheists" really are."

Ironically enough, that sounds rather bigoted.

  • @matternicuss Perhaps it would to someone who is too stupid to know a bigot like Hitchens and these YT "atheists" when he hears one.

  • @uranatheisttwit Perhaps you're right. My intellectual prowess obviously pales in comparison to yours. Please, would you be humble enough to endow us with your wisdom?

...Actually Christopher is quite tame here, and it is obvious he and Frank share a mutual, if somewhat tenuous, respect for one another.

  • @matternicuss Oh yeah, lame-ass YT fake-atheist troll---we're ALL impressed with your "intellectual prowess." (roll eyes)

He's quite tame here huh? I grant you that twit--he's usually ranting about religious people the way Archie Bunker used to rant about "niggers."

Oh yeah....anyone who genuinely believes Hitchens was more than an eloquent bigot has the "intellectual prowess" of a telephone pole.

  • @uranatheisttwit Would be so kind, and clarify for us the difference(s) between a 'fake-atheist' and a 'true atheist'? The reason I ask is that you seem to be attributing, or wanting to attribute, very specific qualities to these terms outside of the more literal qualifiers: belief vs lack of beleif?

What makes Hitchens a 'bigot' and you a 'moral knight'? What makes me a 'twit,' and how is that relevant to the discussion? Are you saying 'twits' cannot be intellectual?

  • @matternicuss >> Are you saying 'twits' cannot be intellectual?<<

    Priceless. Absolutely priceless.

  • @uranatheisttwit "Priceless. Absolutely priceless."

I think so too. Samuel Johnson, the man who wrote the first important and reliable English dictionary, was certainly an intellectual, and even a genius, but some of his political ideas and personal biases may be severe enough to also designate him as a twit, albeit a brilliant one. The irony is beautiful.

  • @matternicuss Your "comeback" is lame and full of selfish rationalization.

    Want to try again?

  • @uranatheisttwit ...Not so much a comeback as a clarification. I can tell you are not interested in honest discussion, so I will leave it at that. I found it kind of precious that you used the word 'selfish' though. It's very 'selfish' of me to use examples from real life. Haha.

  • @matternicuss "honest"..."discussion"...oooo-kay...if that's what you call it.

I think you missed that opportunity dude when you tried to portray me as thinking I was "a moral knight."

I'm a fucking bigot--I know that much. And that's a helluva lot more than could ever be said of Archie Bunker...er...Chrissy Hitchens (sorry I get those two mixed up a lot for obvious reasons.)

  • @uranatheisttwit '...you tried to portray me as thinking I was "a moral knight."'

I assumed you were in denial about your own bigotry, since initially you seemed outraged at me having pointed out the irony in your statements about Hitchens. Regarding Hitchens thoughts on theists, he has a lot of respect for some individuals regardless of their beliefs, as evidenced by his praise of people like Francis Collins, and his respect for opponents at debates.

  • @matternicuss I tried to understand this pablum--which is more than I usually do for YT atheist twits, but who the fuck knows what the fuck you're talking about.

  • @uranatheisttwit What I'm getting at is this: people can respect others even while vehemently disagreeing with their views/beliefs. Example: one of my best friends is a theist and we argue and debate regularly about various topics from religion to art, music, aesthetics, etc. But I am not a bigot for thinking some of his ideas rubbish (nor is he for that matter). I simply happen to think that religion/faith is all too often a dangerous alternative to reason.

  • Unfortunatly god died and there is a vacancy. I think the Mormons are about to claim it.

  • @gunter5150 What annoys me is how they refute any logic you throw at them. What makes christianity "right" and all other religions wrong? Every religion has some form of punishment for not believing - are we meant to be believers of all? Religion cannot advance society any longer - in my opinion is it was just to stop anarchy at the time - "if you kill or steal, then you'll be forever damned!".

But alas, christianity is so deep rooted into america that there really is no hope.

  • @Roksonixx

Is killing or stealing good or bad? God is righteous.

  • @zerubabel3 A fucking book doesn't tell you what is right and what is wrong. If everyone killed everyone we wouldn't be here today - so it's obviously wrong. If these scripts suddenly stopped existing we'd STILL know what's right and what's wrong. None believers know what's right and what's wrong.

There's no argument whatsoever for believing in any religion. If you believe in any religion you are deluded and insane - which brings me back to how can one religion be "the only" religion. Its bs

  • Islam is shit, christianity is shit. Philosophy makes sense.

  • @philosophergenius

The greatest philosopher of all time is a Catholic saint you fool.

    Saint Thomas Aquinas.

  • @zerubabel3 absolutely not, but i will read him anyway, why not i'm reading Benedict De Spinoza--another crazy kook.

  • No respected historian contest that Jesus of Nasareth existed. Jesus never says his central doctrine was take no thought for tomorrow. The disciples ask him what his central philosophy and he gives it in Mark 12:30-31.

  • ahh it's refreshing to hear a logical and reasoning human being

  • Christianity is the world's #1 religion because it offers what no other religion does.

  • @dyad2r1

    A stranglehold on US politics?

  • @dyad2r1 An open buffet for pedophiles?

  • Hitchens knew a lot about fairies because he was one himself.

  • The man THE LEGEND Christopher Hitchens! Can't thank him enough. When I die and if there are some gates to pass I will have to wait because Hitch will be debating God.

  • asubjectiveopinion you are superstitious and paranoid.

  • christianity is a fat copy cat of zoroastrianism, with elements of Babylonian and egyption myth before it. It SCREAMS of that. How could people be so blind is beyond me.

  • @scientistrules That's totally wrong friend = proven EPIC fail. I wish everyone would quit reading the new age bs books d'jour! Zeitgeist too, was a proven mindheist.

  • @GoodyBob really? I would like to see the proof. Since I have seen plenty for what I have just stated here.

  • @scientistrules how fucking stupid are you??

  • @uranatheisttwit i.e you have no rational high IQ intelligent answer to give me, i.e, therefore, I must be right. Diversify your reading....you need to get out of your little bubble, looks like O2 is a rarity in your bubble.

  • @scientistrules2 Two pompous tirades? Wow! Thank you pompous bigot!

  • @uranatheisttwit you are very welcome. Again, you proved my point. Thank u for that too.

  • @scientistrules2 A third pompous tirade! You're too kind and gracious--especially for a fuckwit!

Again, thank you from the bottom of my superior heart and brain.

  • @uranatheisttwit Name calling, insults, and attempting to berate anyone who disagrees with your delusions is very common Christian tactic used when believers have no legitimate knowledge to back their silly superstitions. Unique and insightful thoughts are all to rare these days, if you ever have one, please let us know.

  • @UncleMatt69 I'M NOT A CHRISTIAN YOU MORONIC POMPOUS HYPOCRITICAL BLOWHARD FUCKWIT!

Damn! You YT atheists NEVER pass up an opportunity to 1) put down a Christian and 2) sanctimoniously pat yourself on the back do you? LIKE A RABID DOG you don't bother to find out what really is going on when you can SMELL the opportunity to be sanctimonious and hypocritical .

    Pussy.

  • @uranatheisttwit what you just described is what YOU are doing.

  • @JohnF30Music aah...a pathetic sock account.

    pathetic son.

  • @uranatheisttwit I don't recall saying that you are a Christian, simply that you speak just like a Christian, nothing but insults and name calling from behind a keyboard... as if you're two digit IQ qualifies as intelligence or that you childish attempts to insult higher primates makes you a tough guy... your amusing at best... but mostly just annoying. Blame genetics for your tiny dick, not everyone else.

  • @UncleMatt69 >> I don't recall saying that you are a Christian, simply that you speak just like a Christian, nothing but insults and name calling from behind a keyboard.<<

Spoken like a bona fide bigot. If you were a white supremacist (which you may be) you would be "talkin' 'bout niggers 'n spics" etc etc.

Run along bigot, you're wasting my time.

  • @UncleMatt69 You, sir, are a twit.

    Find evidence above.

  • How did they deal with comas back then? Straight to the ground?

  • LOL! The secret? Hahaha id rather read scientology

  • 4:26

"Most of the witnesses are women,....., of the kind who in a Jewish court, at that time, would've had about as much chance of being listened to as they would in an Islamic court today"

    hahahahaha

    Islam pwnage! xD

  • I love hitchens theories- but every time I see him, I wish he was different looking... when he speaks, he reminds me of an angry dictator/UFO cult leader. Weird opinion I know, but I think he would have gotten more credit if he looked a little more charismatic.

  • @DaMainDude well this is the most disgusting thing I've read on a Hitchens video

  • I'm betting that Dinesh D'souza is glad he'll never have to debate Hitchens again.

  • Oh. How come God doesn't heal amputees? That has never happened. Ever.

  • @TheTruthRocks He apparently put the ear of a roman soldier back on after it was hacked of at his arrest by one of the apostles who came to his aid

  • @bobbytaxi1 If a roman soldier got his ear hacked off you would think the other roman soldiers would have massacred everyone else in the room, including Jesus. So I call Bull on that story.

  • @TheTruthRocks You're very naive, glue sticks didn't exist in the 1st century, schoolboy error...

  • @TheTruthRocks how do you know?

  • @TheTruthRocks

Why would He? Who can live forever on this planet? Imagine the reward that God gives to those people for eterernity. Every man on this planet knows that not believing in Jesus is a sin. HOW COME?

  • @zerubabel3 If he can live forever, then his "death" was not a sacrifice at all...it was a momentary inconvenience...

Except of course, that it didn't happen and you are a seriously deluded idiot.

There is no such thing as "sin" and not every "man" on the planet knows not believing Jesus is a sin...I think its an admirable quality that shows true intelligence.

One who believes it is a gullible fool and a slave who deserves derision and scorn not admiration. And yes, I mean you.

  • @johnycannuk Common Johnny boy chill out... I'm not a "seriously deluded idiot" as you call me. I don't need any admiration from you or from anybody, for what? Try to understand that Jesus is a Good guy, then look yourself, then try to get better, then you will meet Him.

  • @zerubabel3 Jesus (at least the character depicted in the Bible) probably didn't exist. And a lot of the stuff attributed to him is hardly "good"

Vicarious redemption? There is nothing good about that at all.

And no I won;t meet him. If such a person ever lived, he was killed by the Romans and his body tossed in the garbage pit at Gehena with the other criminals.

If you believe otherwise, you are deluded. Period.

  • @johnycannuk Then why are you so upset if you're right? Chill Johnny boy, chilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • @TheTruthRocks but humans do in a way with artificial limbs which makes them more useful then praying to god- and scinece is working on ways to regenerate limbs- once again more useful! your point is a good one

  • @TheTruthRocks I think it's because he's putting together one very bizzare chorus line.

  • What happened to "love your enemy?" Commentators here that celebrate the death of Hitchens are simply scared. Their faith is weak! They inwardly fear their own beliefs may in fact be faulty (whether they realize it or not). Here's why: if their faith is *true*--what bearing do the words of an atheist like Hitchens have on a religious belief that's been so entrenched in society for 2,000+ years? If Christianity is really the *truth*, then Christians have nothing to fear.

  • I would say this particular argument was devastating to the Biblical view... but as an nonbeliever I cannot fathom the religious minded. There simply is no debate with such people, at all. Why, just a few posts below me is some twisted soul who types that he is glad of Hitchens' death and calls Atheism "absurd" as if he knew what he was talking about.

  • Ah, Plato paints Socrates with some fairly unrealistic brushes. In the Symposium we're told that somehow, Socrates was so strong that he didn't have to wear warm clothes while marching for days in the snow. However, getting frostbite, just like getting set on fire, has nothing to do with how tough a person is. All that said, I'd sooner sit down and read Plato than the Bible.

  • @UnaVoceMiami You clearly do not understand the great burden that religion has put on society for thousands of years as most of these people seem to. If you looked into ANY of Hitchens' other work, you'd understand why he attempts to disprove religion.

  • It seems weird to me, that we in this time are still talking about religion as if it's plausible. The only "evidence" we've got is that so many believes it to be true, and that really isn't evidence only wishful thinking.

  • I was going to click 'like' but 666 likes is just too ironic to fuck with. lol

  • @asubjectiveopinion haha that's great we should try to get this comment to 666 because the video has surpassed that :(

  • @asubjectiveopinion seems appropriate not ironic to me, am sure Hitchens would have been comfortable with the 'antichrist' label

  • @asubjectiveopinion very true.

  • Atheists criticize that the existence of God cannot be proven empirically. This, however, is no criticism at all. A God whose existence could be proven empirically wouldn’t be a God; He would just be another object in the field of human vision.

Militant atheism is a psychosis. Would anyone sane attack what they claim does not exist?

  • @UnaVoceMiami They don't attack God, they attack the fools (e.g. you) who believe in him.

  • @MinotawrTV What a pleasure it is to know that this disgusting little toad is no longer with us. I say rather, his absence from the Earth is somewhat refreshing to the rest of us who do not believe in the absurdities of stupid bloody atheism. I say ol' chap!!!

  • @alexander51525 Stop existing.

  • @alexander51525 That's just sick. Is that what your religion teaches you?

  • @alexander51525 I would trade the lives of 10 million ignorant morons like yourself to have him back in a heartbeat. His absence is refreshing to you because he, like millions of other intelligent humans, saw through the horse shit that you believe in and was able to calmly and easily call you out on it.

  • i enjoy watching his videos, well thought through.. So is the ones with Stephen Frey.

  • Like religions, feminism insists, on an omnipotent male conspiracy to keep women oppressed, and thus, justifies the continued avoidance of men's issues debates.

I am suing the largest of Europe's several hundred gender studies departments, at LSE, for sex discrimination, and ask all atheists to watch my video here, called Tom Martin sues LSE... then read the press, listen to the interviews and donate to the legal fighting fund at sexismbusters. Enjoy!

  • @sexismBusters No! Sexism is good! Imagine if suicide bombers were girls, they would probably screw it up!

  • @MyBlastoiseIsBigger That's the idea.

  • "Pay no attention to tomorrow" was NOT the message of Christ.

  • @DNAisDestiny

"take therefore no thought for the morrow". different words, same meaning.Yes, jesus allegedly said it.

  • It is difficult to believe a man could talk at such length without ever really addressing the question. This tendency to soliloquy is common amongst people who have damaged themselves with alcohol and drugs. He loved to hear himself and to rant at length, showing no regard for his audience or any interest in anything they had to say.

Nothing is sadder than an old faggot dying alone. Nurses at the hospital say nobody attended him in his final days. Who would? To know him was to despise him.

  • @MrTexasArcane : Since when did someone accompany you to death? Your cult created a whole fictional story to help your childish adults cope with it. Given that you're from Texas I would assume you're christian? The biggest closeted fags are in the Vatican. Spare us the lies and hypocrisy and show some evidence. Ill give you one that proves MY point. Gary Aldridge. Shame on you to look up to serial pedophiles too.

  • @MrTexasArcane ridiculous disgusting statement made by someone with no knowledge of Hitchen's life, just jealous that an atheist that you presumably hate because he is an atheist is so articulate and brilliant at public speaking despite the fact that yes he drank quite a lot!

faggot is an offensive term which indicates to me that you also hate gay people.

You sound like a lovely person though

  • Fat effete Neocon boosting cocksucking queer old ratbag. His followers are the only thing on earth more tragically deranged than he was.

Hitchens is the god of the lower tier "intellectuals" 112-132, just bright enough to confuse themselves but not really bright enough to ever understand anything.

  • @MrTexasArcane Hmmm...Can't address what he had to say so you spout insults.

  • @MrTexasArcane Haha...if you want to be taken seriously you really should change your name since almost everyone knows (even I , a swede ) that people from Texas are amongst the most homophobic, fanatically christian, narrow-minded, woman hating and racist people on the planet. It´s 2012 man.....wake up so you can grow up. We even have color tv nowadays

  • @MrTexasArcane

You and Rick Perry are an embarrassment to texas. Bless you for not being so arcane about your meaningless thoughts.

  • God bless Christopher Hitchens

  • @WKRPinCINN Eat shit god!!!!

  • The Gospels contradict eachother on the crucifiction, books about anti-christ and revelation were used to help Jews persecuted by the Romans feel better. Claims of Jesus' divinty were established centuries after he was said to die. And all of this has been filtered through over 2000 years worth of political agendas, blatant biassnes and poor translation. You cannot beleive it

  • @moroney1 You certainly can believe it, but it wouldn't make it true.

    Also, "biassnes"?

  • @moroney1

The Apostle Paul wrote of Christ's divinity within two decades after the earthly life of Christ.

Those letters are available in a book called The New Testament.

  • @DNAisDestiny Are you actually asserting that the New Testament is a reliable source?!

  • @moroney1

    Do you contend otherwise?

  • @DNAisDestiny ......... Im not in the mood of feeding trolls

  • To realize the Jesus character nothing more than myth one simply has to consider the premise on which his existence is based - original sin.

To believe in the Jesus character as real you also have to believe in a talking snake, a young earth(6000 years or so) and that evolutionary theory is an elaborate hoax along with a hundred other delirious fantasies.

  • @judoyodan Jesus is proven to be real. I'm not saying he's a prophet, but it is proven that he was alive.

He was also a great magician.

  • @Shineplawks, you should do a little research before making statements that reveal your ignorance.

Had you done even minimal examination of the facts, you would have found that there is actually NO contemporary accounts of a Jesus, man or god, in any written record.

Kind of strange for a guy that walked around on water, healing the sick, reviving the dead etc., wouldn't ya say. Especially since there were dozens of historians in that erea at the time.

  • @judoyodan Someone who can't even spell "area" is telling me I need to do research. That's great. Google it, I don't need to try and convince you of something that any informed atheist would know. I'm an atheist and even I admit that Jesus was a real person.

  • @Shineplawks, forgive the typo, I do know how to spell "area."

"Even" you admit Jesus was real. Well, I guess it's settled then. (sarcasm, in case you missed it)

The more you postulate the proven, or even probable existence of Jesus, the more you demonstrate your lack of knowledge on this subject. Your unwillingness for discovery of something that might conflict with your position is very much like the dogmatic "truths" that fundies cling to. Not very good company.

  • @judoyodan

You seek forgiveness in a post disdaining truth.

  • Comment removed

  • @judoyodan

Believing in Christ does not necessitate believing in the Old Testament.
