Dambisa, how can it not be a bad thing that 2 million Africans are on ''life saving'' drugs if ''HIV'' is not the cause of they syndrome ''AIDS''? Watch House of Numbers documentary.
Reminds me exactly of the Leninist argument that "it needs to get worse before people can make it better". If the United States wanted to help Africans more effectively we could work by training their farmers proper agricultural strategies and giving soil/seeds/equipment rather than lavishing indirect subsidies on our farmers through USAID and food aid. If the aid system were to be improved it could be an incredible source of empowerment for most destitute Africans. Teach a man to fish.
Interesting how it is KEEN on insuring that she doesn't touch the hot topic of UNEMPLOYMENT in the US? CREDIT CRISIS? 2:57-3:05. As long as he redirected her on to a significantly more trivial aspect of the topic, she was allowed to continue on... His interruption of her for clarification wasn't so necessary as to warrant the aggressive interruption. It's funny to me, because it's so obvious.
Either this sister is playing a very cleaver game of she is totally naive. It's not in the interest of any western government/cooperation if African governments are able to supply any type of 'public good' for there people. Its like a drug dealer wanting there customers to kick there habit, it doesn't pay. Western Aid = Drugs simple.
You're totally right, and that's precisely why she is against the aid. What she's saying is very basic: Africains need to learn how to fish, instead of begging for fish every day.
This can also be applied to our growing entitlement society. An economy cannot be successful if you have a vast number of "takers". We need to increase the productive and find ways to eliminate those that drain the resources such as not allowing them to get comfortable in the "taker" role.
I completely agree with her point: I don't think African nations and other third world countries should be the baby dolls of the world's superpowers. It really does seem like a continuation of Kipling ideals, however with the dissociation of race across economic lines, rather than being a white man's burden, its the burden of "the greatest countries on earth." Sometimes countries do need bandaids, but where is the encouragement for real growth?
Its poor countries that finance the rich countries and NOT the other way around as we like to belive. For every 1 doller we give in so called aid,100 dollers comes back to us in debt repayments of loans that we gave to dictators of these countries.Dictators that we supported and in some cases even installed. The people saw nothing of this money but now have to repay it.Its a myth that we give aid to poor countries.
Would it help if development aid is tied to reforms?
This seems to be a middle ground. You will be giving a country needed aid for development but in order for a country to recieve it their gov't must put in place it's own political and economic reforms that most people in the country agree with and maintain them. If those reforms aren't maintained then no more aid.
Donor nations have the right to deny aid to oppressive governments. It's their aid money. It's not imperialism to deny a country development aid if it's well known that the gov't doesn't allow for a free press and media. The reforms I mentioned will be reforms initiated and approved of by the majority population. They will be determining the reforms not the donor nations.
@CrowdPleeza I agree that they do have the right to deny aid but we have to also consider the effect of that aid. If for example the U.S. keeps donating food and clothing to country X then country X cannot develop any independent food or clothing industry as it wouldn't be viable (no consumer would buy food or clothing if they can get it for free) so by continue to subsidize this "aid" we are putting their economy in an awkward position in which they become dependent for their subsistence on us
I s overpopulation the sole problem? There are other countries out there that have an overpopulation problem, but are nowhere near as poor as the countries in Africa. I am not saying that it is not an issue at all, but it's overemphasized.
@ihateneveen Overpopulation is a factor of several things. Such as technology, social structure, availability of clean water and fertility of the land.
There are areas of the world, especially with technology and infrastructure, which can support higher population densities than others, to put it simply.
While overpopulation isn't the ONLY problem in Africa, it's still a HUGE problem! And the growth of the population is one of the problems which results from aid without education.
@LastBastionOfTruth True, but is is not as much to a contributor of poverty as people make it sound. If that were the case, then every country with an overpopulation problem would be poor. Clearly, that is not the case.
Respond to this video... I guess what I am trying to ask is, do we take care of overpopulation, and hope a reduction in poverty follows? Or do we take care of poverty first, and then overpopulation will take care of itself. I guess it's a chicken or egg type of question. But some people overproduce, because children are their workers, and its a response to poverty, not necessarily the cause. It isn't always because condoms are not available.
@ihateneveen Oh, I missed you wrote a couple comments prior to that last one.
"Taking care of poverty" isn't so easy. And taking care of poverty doesn't necessarily mean overpopulation will end by itself. In fact, until you address the SOCIAL and EDUCATIONAL issues, no amount of money will help end either, permanently.
As for condoms not being available.... that was more a JOKE way of putting it. I mean to say that birth control, i.e. the WILL & KNOWLEDGE to use it, is essential.
@LastBastionOfTruth Yes, but if we can eradicate poverty, then people who overpopulate because their children die early ( due to lacking basic health care) won't have to overproduce to ensure the survival of their progeny. Children are seen as income, because they are future workers. Redesigning the whole system, so that parents can earn money by other means, will discourage the need to overpopulate. BIRTH CONTROL access is only the tip of the iceberg. I GET that you were being sarcastic
@ihateneveen But do you REALLY believe that people are so purposeful and rational about their reproduction, in such areas, that they only overpopulate to, as you say, "overproduce" because of a perceived need? Hardly! The whole idea of overproduction implies a lack of understanding of resources on a society-wide level. And people aren't going to just stop having kids if no longer poor.
What I say is needed is the EDUCATION and AWARENESS to control birth rates.
@ihateneveen And you never explained how we "eradicate poverty".
To me, it all comes back to education, skills and social improvement. This will not only produce people who see that it's wise to have fewer children, but it will also greatly raise their standard of living.
The problem is in getting from a primitive, tribal, uneducated society to a civilized one. It's not easy. And warlord leaders don't make it any easier.
@LastBastionOfTruth Well you kept going with it, so I assumed I didn't need any explanation. How we go about eradicating poverty (pretty self-explanatory to ME) is what I was ASKING. Meaning, I am not sure which is the best way to go about it.
@ihateneveen OK, it's uncertain, then, just what parts you were asking or stating.
You say "pretty self-explanatory to me". What; the need to eradicate poverty or HOW?
I find eradicating poverty to be one of those ideals, like "cutting spending" or "balancing the budget". Everyone agrees that it's a good thing but few can agree on HOW to go about it.
To me, true eradication of poverty includes social reform, education and just governmental reforms.
All the boatload of condoms in the world won't make much of a difference, if corrupt fat cats do nothing to help out their people. It's systematic policies designed to keep them oppressed that is a big cause of poverty, not necessarily overpopulation. Again, I am not saying it is not a problem, but it is not as dire as others.
@ihateneveen I agree the corrupt leaders of those nations present a HUGE problem for the people!
Sending money, teachers or boatloads of condoms won't help if the governments intercept the money and prevent the rest from helping the people.
However that's not the only problem for all the nations; in some cases, it's just that the culture overall is dysfunctional. There are many problems over there and no simple answer.
i say we have to keep on giving them aid so that their savage warlords keep on grabbing those money for themselves...buy more guns...and slaughter each other more efficiently,i dont think aids is working that much...its too slow
Like (increasingly so), American society actually is just sitting around and waiting for handouts. Like in Africa, even although not sustainable, it's happening. Like Africa, the United States is ultimately doomed absent significant change of course. You go, girl!
@DaMuttzNutz - keep your condoms to yourself - you need to isolate the HIv virus first and provide proof that the virus causes immune failur before you realease your verbal diarrhea on this forum
She is totally wrong. She does not know what is talking about. The real problem of Africa is people are denied self-determination. If you are cold-blood killer like Mobutu of Zaire or Gnassigbe of Togo. You terrorize people so you can stay on the power for many years, and take all money aids for yourself. The real problem is dictatorship system manipulated by greedy people from Europe.
You see Ghana, Ghana is growing because of self-determination. Ghana people chooses their leaders.
China was once a primitive and war torn nation, when they came into the 21st century they became major competitors with europe and america. So if Africa "modernizes" it will be nuked for keeping its own resources for its own modernization
Come here, you see this? This is sand. You know what it's gonna be 100 years from now? IT'S GONNA BE SAND!! YOU LIVE IN A FUCKING DESERT! We have deserts in America, we just don't live in them, assholes!" - Sam Kinison
Dambisa Moyo is correct she is saying the African governments are NOT doing enough. The western world WANTS to keep Africans poor. Why can't people see Moyo's cogent argument? The western world doesn't care about Africans they have a paternalistic attitude they are inferior people. Another problem which Moyo identifies is the western world helps to MAINTAIN the African dicators that SERVE western interests! Why do you think Gadaffi was in power for so long? The aid should be CUT OFF!
Often the west extend aid to Africa not because they are giving out of pity but to get economic and diplomatic favours.Even worse they seek to control Western interest in Africa.Yes Africa can say no but when they do what follows in regime change.Ask President Robert Mugabe.Yes What Africa needs to fair trade and not aid.
I've sent money there, but I've come to the conclusion that giving aid to sub-saharan Africa is like giving heroin to a junkie. I wish I knew what the answer is, but it isn't more aid. Every pound, dollar or euro sent just frees up money to be squirrelled away in the swiss bank accounts of some rotten, corrupt African dictator.
@DaMuttzNutz Frankly, I'd rather send a boat load of condoms than a boat load of food, to SubSaharan Africa.
Their family planning and sexual practices are causing them a lot more problems than lack of food, and if you send food, you're only going to wind up, in a few years, with a ton more starving mouths to feed, many of whom will soon be HIV+.
You can't help them much until they start being more responsible for these things; and JUST free food does not "teach".

@LastBastionOfTruth Responsible!! Thats a joke! When has the western white world been responsible for anything or its action the past 600yrs til today! Has the western white world had consequence hit it for its 600yrs of reign of terror on the globe? Not at all but no matter what you put out eventually comes right back at you harder and stronger.
@dreamEternal You mean Africans sailed other Africans on African made ships for 400yrs! Then implement Jim crow slavery lynching name changing religion changing inferior training terrorism and etc!
@arronnov Africans helped in finding the african villages, selling them off to the colonials for a tidy sum. Let's also forget the North Africans that traded white slaves, or the Arabs that traded european slaves during the Ottoman and Muslim empires, history's
Mugabe, Abacha, Idi Amin, Gadaffi, countless hundred politicians who without the help of 'westerners' bankrupted their nations, and left Africa the sick man of the world, lets also not forget them. It's all about the now my friend.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@dreamEternal The now is formulated from the past. When you go see a psychologist. He or she doesn't just ask you today or about the future. They ask you about your past which is roots and base of your condition. You talk about African leaders. Who help put them in power? Who cast them as evil and starts coups wars and etc if they don't agree with western policy or friendship. If you don't buy into what western white civilization offer you. Your labelled evil mad anti west primitive and etc.
Who put them in power? Mugabe? not the british, he fought to kick them out, Abacha? he's army did it, Idi Amin? the same, Gaddafi? Kicked out the british AND Americans then proceeded to amass millions in wealth for himself, while he's country fell to the dejected state it now is.
Japan came from utter devastation in WW2 to second in the world, South Korea, Singapore also from devastating wars, The Freaking USA from utter colonialism. The 'Its all histories fault' card fails.

@dreamEternal History and the universe shows what you put out you eventually get back. Western white civilization is going to get what coming to it. Everything that's happening in Africa and other places where theres a interest and resources can be laid at the feet of western white civilization period.
@dreamEternal I can agree with you in your arguments against arronov. I've seen him around before, and he's a shameless black racist and even, as I recall, a downright black supremacist.
I do wish you wouldn't keep saying "we kicked the white man out". Yes, there was a lot of struggle against oppressors, but there was also a lot of help from, guess who? Other white men! So it's not like it was a "black vs white" thing, but a number of multiracial people seeking to end colonialism.
@RonQE The big money interests would love to exploit a more healthy Africa and would not fear it? You can't be that naive. It is not about Africa being and economic threat it is about profitability, a more stable Africa = a less profitable trade for natural resources and that in it's own is a hazard.
@kesomox Yet that is not what the previous statement was about. It was suggesting that the big money interests would need to fear the competition of a viable Africa; which is NOT the case.
Whether a more stable Africa would cause a steep rise in the price of natural resources is another matter; one which has some merit and would be worth of discussion.
Of course a war-torn Africa vs. one manipulated by corporations is quite a debate unto itself.
@RonQE The idea that big money interests are in favor of a more stable Africa is the case with regards to your comment. A lot of these materials are obtained of the unlivable wages or right out slavery of the natives, would materials run for as cheap if the cost of extraction rose?
"A war torn Africa vs one manipulated by corporations" why are the two are mutually exclusive? The media loves to romanticize the issues surrounding Africa as simplistic, seems too many easily fall for they hype
@kesomox The question is how much the cost of extraction would actually rise if many African nations stabilized. There are a lot of factors which go into that, such as type of government, social attitudes, corporate influence, etc. Many nations are stable and still have amazingly cheap labor.
It would be interesting to see just how much in natural resources actually come from Africa, how much it costs and who is in control over there.
@RonQE So the wages of economically healthy nations providing cheap labor are comparable to the that of unstable ones providing pay that does not afford a living standard above the poverty line?
Africa is the wealthiest in terms of natural resources (excl. oil). A number of western nations have built their wealth of these regimes. We are reaching a turning point with the rising of the east and imminent collapse of the USA with a debt level it has no way of paying back. should be interesting
@dreamEternal A few whites fought so what! The majority back and accept the system and structure that western white civilization wants and continue to push on black people as universal. Our survival and interest has never been in lined with whites. History has shown this. If you don't believe it the examples is with all the indegious people across the planet and their relationship with whites and their worldview and system the past 600yrs to today.
@dreamEternal Its not ignorance but straight out facts. You can go ask the native Americans the few who are left on these lands when it comes to their survival and interest. Oh how about the people in Tasmania. Thats not a good choice because the people of Tasmania are extinct because of British occupation. How the people in Libya who has outsiders once again from the west deciding the self determination self realization and self consciousness.
@arronnov you do realise the native amerticans of which you speak are the ancestors of the first asiatic people to enter north america and subsequently killed the true native americans, who were originally europeans. dont take my word for it look at the archeological evidence the oldest, remains, artifacts and dna in north america are all of european origin. thats ignorance but you will simply call bullshit on everything that does not fit your over simplified world view. jog on
@kyototakeshi1 I realize that the same people pushing this agenda are the same one's claiming the Ancient Egyptian not moderns came from outside of Africa. Basically eliminating indigenous Africans with the flow of the Nile river which flows south to the North. Europeans or Asians where the originators of Egyptian according to these people. How about the Piltdown man claiming the origins of mans started in Europe.
@kyototakeshi1 Western white civilization has been hell bent pushing a political driven worldview on mankind. This encompass that nobody has a history other than the one whites have given to you to have. When you say something counter to the western white worldview you cast as pseudo.
@arronnov yes there a huge conspiracy, dont make me laugh. lol what are you talking about, "nobody has a history other than the one whites have given" tell me this false history that has been portrayed by the white man. what a joke. when afrocentrists have conjured up a true pseudo-historical world view. where everything blackis good and everything white is so bad. lol tell me how black people have contributed to society then, un censored, feel free this should be fun.
@kyototakeshi1 What is afrocentrist? I know its a word whites have created for black who don't take their marching orders from the western white point of view. Whites have been taking liberty with naming things or changing names since the Greeks. In the history of whites black people never did anything but where the original people and oldest on the planet. When we decide to see the world through our eyes and experience on our terms. We become pseudo or afrocentrist.
@arronnov once again all you are doing is making claims site examples of where white people change history to suit them. and please give understanding of our history and give evidence, until then all you are doing is spouting bullshit rhetoric. i am not asking for black people to seek approval but validate their assertions come on lol, whats the matter cat got your tongue? or as expected you are regurgitating bullshit, i'm waiting lol
@kyototakeshi1 You are asking for black people to seek approval. All threw my academic education in a western white country aka America especially when I was young. The education when it came to history. Black people was written out of history with specific purpose. You have to ask why is this. Also why have whites been so hell bent on trying to control us on our history? When you get the answers to those question you get alot of clarity.
@arronnov cont. as for afrocentrism, the word is not necessarily the product of the white man but a product of the language used to define it and its formation solidly supports the philosophy behind its definition.the race of the individual is irrelevant, but the term afrocentrisity was popularised by black people themselves, so its obvious you are ignorant of this, look it up.lol i am asking you for the true history what haveblack people given the world, enlighten us lol
@kyototakeshi1 There's not a fight to get a western white education on history especially when it comes to black people. You must accept everything like the bible and etc as history. However when your do like all cultures or groups people do. That is see your world which includes your history through your worldview self consciousness and etc. Then whites want you to seek validation and acceptance for them.
@arronnov lol its not a white education, its an education. name one other race of people that agree with the afrocentrist view on history, you'll find all races come to the same conclusion. lol white people dont want you to seek validation, but they want you to back the false claims you make about your own history. you are spouting the rhetoric of afrocentrists, start providing evidence for your wild accusations, as for the bible that is not a primary historical resource once again you fail
@kyototakeshi1 It is a white or western education. The education is design for the maintaining and survival western white civilization. Africans Asians and other non whites come to the west to go to school. This education is coming from a western white worldview. You say all races come to the same conclusion but however the majority of them are trained in western white schools.
@arronnov lol then plz give everyone on youtube the alternative, the reason you dont is because your alternative is based on nothing but emotion not evidence. all i ask is for you to give your understanding of black history i am interested, instead of calling people liars, present what you think are the lies white westerners have presented, until then all you are doing is dismissing supported historical truth with a history unsupported to make you feel better, evidence please lol
@kyototakeshi1 No problem is we been written out of whites history which find. The problem is when we decide with our own people to self consciousness self realization and self determination. That's when the use arise. They happens whites a ego that gives them believe that the determine others realities languages names culture beauty and etc.
@arronnov uve not been written out of what u call as white history books. theres no evidence 4 the afrocentrists claims of a alternative past. truth is u make wild + unsupported statements about ancient egyptians pharoahs being black, lol + the evidence u give is unsubstanciated.afrocentrist videos on youtube actively doctor photos online idiots like u fall for it. it is the black man who are lying and trying to hijack history, because they have nothing, evidence please.
@arronnov cont. once again, you say the white mans view of history is wrong, all i ask is to be enlightened of this plz tell me where the white man has covered up the history of black people and site evidence for this, i am confident you are full of shit and i will be able to make you look like the biased idiot you are, you think simply because the person telling you something has the same skin color as you, that makes it more plausablle, lol moron. proof for your accusations lolol
@kyototakeshi1 Theirs no need to enlighten you. Your respones and up roar proves my points for me. As long as black accept the white version on things everything was good and dandy. When we started thinking from our perspective and worldview. All of a sudden we come up with different conclusion on things. Then whites come out with the attacks. When your righteous with knowledge you wouldn't even worry about others you perceive telling lies.
@arronnov cont. just becos u come to a different conclusion doesnt mean u r right. its arrogant 2 believe blacks have unique historical evidence, yet cant present it. the truth is the black afrocentrist lies +pseudo history is lol'd at by scholars, why? its a response at being the worlds bitch 4 centuries. liars + frauds, all theories have bn proven wrong, once again u cant give evidence,if u did we'd c u 4 the idiot u r, u coward lol living the afrocentrist lie, self preservation at its best lol
@kyototakeshi1 My evidence in all the white control museums and university in Europe and America. All the artifacts that have been stolen from Africa. Lets not forget the private collection that individuals whites have on their own. I just went to a ancient Egyptian exhibit in St Petersburg Florida. One Germany man owns this collection with over 200 pieces.
@kyototakeshi1 This goes for other the other ancient African artifacts that fill white control museums universities and private collections. We don't have any history but whites are consumed with having our ancient artifacts. Thats very strange to see this behavior. I guess the so-called educated and elite whites don't see African people not having history since their obsession over African art and artifacts doesn't stop.
@kyototakeshi1 You can't yourself. That's apart of the western white mindset. You must seek approval from them. You can't see things through your own eyes and perspective.
@arronnov lol you are coming across as a moron now. you cannot back up your claims. thats alright i didnt think you could. all you doing is making an emotional claim without evidence. thats exactly what i thought you would. i knew this because your not the first dumb afrocentrist to come on youtube and talk shit before doing the simplest research.stolen from africa, stolen, you moron. archeologists payed for the privalege to dig and the government was payed to allow them to do so, u fail again
@kyototakeshi1 Where is it written in the cosmos that black people have to have approval from whites on our view of our history! No where! I've been to Africa twice and I'm African decent. I quality more than any white person. The history is in my blood and DNA. I far from being a moron. I guess the master of the universe and borg of Star Trek western white mind set of we are the master of all knowledge is not going to die in your mind. Which I know its not.
@arronnov your view on history? dont you mean the view of someone who shares your skin colour, which you follow simply because you are black and not because it is right. if your view of history is right give evidence to support it until then dont expect to have your view respected, simply because it doesnt deserve respect.lol all have dismissed supported history in support of psedo history, ok call it black history the rest of the world will say its a fairy story to make u fell better lol moron
@kyototakeshi1 My intention is not to prove anything western white civilization. I've gotten out of that mental condition of looking to a system and people who deem African people inferior. I'm not looking for acceptance or approval from people and their system that has oppressed Africa and its people mentally and physically. Especially when they've written African people out of their version of world history. That was done for a reason and effect.
@arronnov obviously u've watched a YT vid + havent done research=sad. true afrocentrists will give pseudo historical refs. + forged evidence all disproven 2 support their wild allegations. obviously your bias has led u 2 blindly follow idiots who dress like power rangers. i ask u, as a black man, enlighten me, where have blacks been written out of history? u cant do this, y? becos what youve been told has already been refuted by academics of all races, not just white, yor silence is deafening
@kyototakeshi1 You say that all races refuted what i been told! However what schools and academic institution where the majority if not all the academics instructed and taught. They where taught at western white schools and universities in Europe and America. What point of view world view and paradigm do these education hubs come from as far as teaching people.
@kyototakeshi1 I understand that Chinese Japanese or who ever is looking for this black man or black people to define their history for them. Whites like you have a different superiority and control mindset. When it comes to others.
@arronnov the colour of my/your skin does not changes the facts or evidence. u can look at history from any angle u want but if u make up evidence + lie about history because it makes u feel good, its still a lie. once again u make the allegation that so called white history is wrong, if so state examples, otherwise all u r doing is regurgitation the rhethoric of others simply becos they share your skin colour not because they r right. i however care if my view of history is right unlike u,
@kyototakeshi1 You suffer from a pathology of culturally conditioning in which whites believe whites they don't have bias and agenda towards blacks in our own history. You just strength my resolve that you have a fear of black people being self defining self realizing and self conscious outside of white approval and control. As long as black people accept the standard whites set for us in any endeavor everything fine. When we step away from that control. They where attacked.
@arronnov you say i fear black self defining, lol you are yet to define anything lol. dont you get that. all you have done is make accusations. yet you have not defined what parts of history whites have lied about. give examples of how white people have lied about black history, obviously you belief this but cannot site examples, lol once again you are coming across as an ill education fool.give us your understanding of african free from white bias, u cant because its BS
@kyototakeshi1 I'm ill educated because I don't follow the pathology of western white civilization version of history for black people. Like I been saying when you step out of the program of control of western white thought. You will be attacked by it and those who accept it view of the world. Its like on the movie the Matrix. The agents don't attack you as long as you stay in step and maintain a program thats written for you.
@arronnov u its fine 2 disagree with the facts, but u must explain y. u cant just say white men have written black people out of their history, yet cannot provide evidence to back this up, all u have is a matrix analogy .forget the matrix or any conspiracy theory + inform me of what the true history of africa and black people is if the white mans understanding is wrong, i challenge u, enlighten us.stop going around in circles, be a man + back up your claims, until then take the mocking u deserve
@kyototakeshi1 I don't want to enlighten you . My first charge is enlighten black the world over of who they are and what they are as people in regards to their humanity. Not the humanity that a system and people gives us verse we determining our own humanity and reality. We been culturally condition by western white civilization and Arab Islam.
@arronnov as i thought, u are full of hot air, all rhetoric + no substance whatsoever. uve nothing the world hadnt already heard + denounced as fantasy. thats not a white perspective thats a perspective of truth.by all means determine your own humanity but u cannot determine the facts without evidence or explanation.u have no intellectual revelation youre simply making unsupported accusations out of racial bias, how dumb are u, because your coming across as having learning difficulties right now
@kyototakeshi1 No I come across as someone who doesn't by into the system and programs of western white civilization and Arab Islam. You so-called facts or evidence are based on political agenda of western white civilization which has been devastating to Africa African decent people and any one who doesn't accept its truth. Your message is just like the borg on Star Trek. Assimilate with us accept our ways thoughts conclusions even if its to your demise and etc.
@arronnov once again you make accusations without evidence and condemn facts without given an alternative. cant you see what you are, a conspiracy theorist too scared to inform anyone of the conspiracy because you know you have no evidence to support your wild claims. you dont site examples of how the white men have somehow changed so called black history, why. because you know i already heard all the crazy lies afrocentrists spout and am waiting to prove you wrong on everyting you say coward
@kyototakeshi1 Your waiting for me to accept western white worldview which covers every dynamic from history politics and etc as the universal standard for mankind. I don't by into that premise. I look to my own historical African worldview which means history politics is different for yours. You need me to accept your version of things. If black all over this planet stop buying into the western white paradigm and worldview today.
@arronnov i dont care if you accept the truth or not, lol but understad rambling like a conspiracy theorist only succeeds in 1 thing, making you look like an idiot. i ask you to simply state at least 1 occasion when a white man has usurped ant event in black history. this is the allegation you are making, obviously you can provide one example of this, can you? i dont care if you agree with me, when i know i am right.
@kyototakeshi1 Western white world when it comes to Africa and Africans would fall apart. We understand things like history economics politics and etc coming from our enemies and oppressors is nothing more than control to ensure their survival and interest.
@arronnov once again another accusation, do you known the difference between accusation and evidence, lol obviously not. your saying that economics, etc. is a tool to control the black man, every other race seem,s to be able to understand and use economic principleas to best siut their people, it seems only black people expect to be given something, why dont you educate yourself instead of building a fallacious pseudo world around you to make you feel better. thats just sad
@kyototakeshi1 Your very ignorant to history. When whites of western Europe pushing their evil of imperialism and colonialism around the planet. They had to deem their humanity to justify their action. Which back up in the notes journals books that where written past and present. Not to say all white writers had the same agenda. Some of them actually express their humanity even though they didn't understand fully.
@arronnov once again (yawn) another accusation instead of saying "written past and present" back up you accusation by referencing these so called writings. you say black people have achieved great things that the white man has usurped, all i ask is for you to give an example, instead of making an emotional plea, one example please to back up your false belief, rememner anybelief unsupported by evidence however sincerely held is a false belief.
@kyototakeshi1 Western white civilization politics was stealing the land and controlling the resources. They had to deemed peoples gods history culture politics and etc. Non whites didn't have truth a history and such. Whites determine and controlled that with a political angel to control others minds. Lying manufacture things and etc to suit the interest survival and control for western white civilization.
@arronnov what has white people entering africa have to do with pre colonial black africa. all i ask is what are the achievements black people have contributed to the world? as u carry on making accusations of white people covering up black civilisation.i dont ask u 2 agree with me but have the balls 2 back up your beliefs like a man, even tho they have no backing whatsoever. youve proven 1 thing 2 me that your nothing but a pseudo intellectual who has dazzled by afroalingst lies, its sad really

@dreamEternal You buy into this propaganda" Africans helped in finding the african villages, selling them off to the colonials for a tidy sum". You probably buy into Africans are primitive savages inferior unintelligent and etc. You believe that Africans where waiting for whites to save them even we been on the planet over 50000yrs. You also probably believe that black people need whites to survive! No thanks I don't have that condition consciousness of needing whites.
Do you know why it is not hard to believe blacks sold blacks then? because Blacks kill blacks now. We KICKED out the 'white man', got back our continent back, and what did we do with it? Succumed to Institutionalised greed.
If we spend all our time making escuses for why we're stuck in a pit, just when will we grab a shovel and start digging our way out. I'm an african, I LOVE africa, this is why our 'self-inflicted' predicament ANGERS me. Stop with the white man crap.

@dreamEternal I'm a black nationalist and about black interest and survival first. Not whites not Japanese Chinese Arabs and the rest of Asia but black first. Black people have been condition and accepting of white program of control where whites or others survival and interest comes before of own death concept of we need to be for everybody except ourselves.
@LastBastionOfTruth? First of all before anyone does research on the African continent, find the website or get a Brochure, Books, Newspapers and Pamphlets from the African Governments themselves before u write an article. Than u go than check out the UN and Amsterdam News, BBC, CNN, Final Call or New York Times as secondary sources of information. In every African Clinics you will find Condoms given to us for free. The Ministry of Health And Social Cervices, does their work before any Aid.
@53Africa You have to understand my point, though. I'm not commenting so much on the sheer availability of condoms, but on USING them!
In other words, there is no long-term solution in most African nations, until they learn to control their population and birth rate, as well as being generally self-responsible and more educated about such things.
There can be condoms on every street corner but they don't do any good if not enough people actually WEAR them! LOL!
@LastBastionOfTruth? No one is waiting for handouts, stop that debilitating negativity towards our great African Continent! Aid comes in whenever there is a drought or war but most of the Aid & assistant, actually comes from the neighboring countries.
@LastBastionOfTruth? We use condoms but most of the information is written in English or French and Portuguese so how can u educate the people if the King don`t really understand ur language. The American Army, consist of International individuals which can be considered as adding Worker Aid for beneficiary relations.
@53Africa Yet one doesn't need to have a plethora of information on condoms and family planning in the native languages to understand the basics. That's why translators are a good thing. Also that is why I am more in favor of TEACHING these things, such as birth control, population reduction and planning, instead of just shipping food and aid. Controlling the population is essential before you can expect food to be a long-term solution.
@LastBastionOfTruth,@LastBastionOfTruth, you just took the words out of my mouth when you said, Controlling the population is essential before you can expect food to be a long-term solution. Since 1991 to 2002, Zambia was blessed by the mighty spirit of God trough its wonderful Zambezi river coz president Frederick Chiluba country saw a rise in social-economic growth. Use 3 major local languages like Bemba, Nyanja, Mbukushu.
@53Africa Not sure what the "blessing" you speak of is? The population has grown around 60-70% in the last 20 years despite an awful AIDS epidemic there. The population should decrease and steps should be taken to stem the spread of AIDS so the people who are alive, live well.
If African citizens were better educated in these matters, the problems would abate. But without that education and will to use it, no amount of aid in the world will help end the suffering.
@LastBastionOfTruth?Do not just sit down there in Alabama avenue, without knowing that Zambia means the river of Gods that derives from the Zambezi river which attracted our tourism industry by the Victoria Falls we share with the great Zim.Levy Patrick Mwanawasa (September 3, 1948 – August 19, 2008) was the third President of Zambia. He ruled the country from January 2002 until his death in August 2008. He is credited for having initiated a campaign to rid the country of corruption.Cure 4 HIV.
@LastBastionOfTruth If you want to slow down population make the country more affluent. When women become more educated they have less children and wait longer to have children all societies have this factor. It's not just "being responsible" all societies have this phase including ours.
@blueiguy1 I agree, being affluent helps, but it's not just "make a country affluent and they will become educated". It's HOW they become affluent and what kind of social changes the society undergoes in the process.
If you just handed most African nations a ton of money, for example, they won't just suddenly start taking responsibility and educating their population. There's a lot more to it than that.
I still believe the best solution is to begin with education.
@LastBastionOfTruth There are about three special on , China africa development and 6 BBC documentaries of china investment and African growth (by themselves). It's really is a combination of things but most of the direct investment is from china. Try to look for the it has a host go through three countries at a time analyzing there growth this is just the first one but watch all three (about one hour long each) you will learn ALOT
@LastBastionOfTruth What would you say to the church who dont condone the use of contraception though? How can they be responsable in this regards if they are told they will burn in hell for using a comdom?
@AidyD1986 I say the Catholic Church is seriously misguided when it comes to the policy they hold regarding birth control, and they are causing much harm.
It's harmful even in civilized areas of the world, even more true in Africa.
@Alectr0n Yes, but it's painful that most people don't, and painful trying to get people to realize what are the wise decisions and courses of action.
@DaMuttzNutz? U never send any Aid stop that lie and 4u chicken head @DaMuttzNutz goodbye with your Ship, Chines condoms were 2 small 4us tat why we din`t use them. Food come only in handy if there is a is any famine course by drought not laziness. professor Nghoshi ya Mbulunganga Shukoko
@53Africa Nigerian? Your people sit on some of the most fertile land on Earth, with vast mineral resources, yet your country is piss-poor. So who's to blame? Where's all the money going? It's been 50 years since colonialism anded, so you can't blame whitey anymore than you can undersized chinese condoms. Take some responsibility for yourselves.
@DaMuttzNutz, Nigeria is a Powerful country with one of the most powerful Armed forces on the African continent. Our military has fought in a civil war – the conflict with Biafra in 1967-70 – and sent peacekeeping forces abroad both with the African Union (AU), United Nations (UN) and as the backbone of the ECOWAS-sponsored ECOWAS Cease-fire Monitoring Group (ECOMOG) in Liberia and Sierra Leone and stopped the war. We are poor but rich in mind!
Interestingly, the problem with Americans supporting Africans in Africa is a similar one to the problem of the support we're giving to African-Americans over here.
When too much aid is given to a community or a people, they become dependent on hand-outs instead of learning to do for themselves. It's true for governments there, and it's true for the black people over here, who are increasingly expected to be taken care of than to improve themselves and accomplish, themselves.
@fatboy10121 But the problem in the black communities runs deeper than just those who couldn't find jobs. Even though, it's true, if you were to just start handing ALL unemployed people money, with no expiration date, and not ask them to better themselves, a similar thing might happen to them that happened to the black communities.
Actually you see it, somewhat, in the rural welfare trailer parks; it's a smaller example of what you see in black groups.
@RonQE Your comment about African Americans is racist and ignorant. This discussion is about Africans on the African continent and not about African Americans. In the USA there are poor white people that are suffering as well due to unemployment.
@JordanjamesX Please, we don't need any more of the typical "anything said which doesn't kiss the ass of blacks or other minorities is racist and ignorant" blanket tactic of dismissing any statement you may not like to hear.
You apparently didn't read my actual statement or you wouldn't have written the subsequent comments which followed.
I am currently doing a paper on "Do Developed Nations have a Moral Obligation to Help Impoverished Nations". Moyo I believe realizes we do, but how we approach it needs to change, we need to see "development" we need to see people stand on their own to feet and help them there through education, teaching, and empowering them that they can bring about change in their nation. We do need sustainability, not a band aid solution. the sad thing is the west contributes hardly nothing to development
you know, i can save Dambisa alot of energy and intellectual mumbo jambo by simply using a very african parable: You can give someone a fish or teach him how to fish. Dambisa, is basically saying--stop lending money to africa, but rather help them make money. But my message to Moyo is--that is rather absurd. Do you think the West will like the idea of a thriving africa? China is already in their nerves. No one wants to impede the might dollar successes. lol
@Basra2020 Somehow, I doubt Africa would ever, in any of our lifetimes, be a threat to the USA economically. China is a threat because they provide a cheaper labor force and have become an economic powerhouse. China was not a stone-age continent, though, only a few centuries ago; it would take centuries for Africa to develop the kind of culture and education to compete.
I think the big-money interests would LOVE to exploit a more healthy Africa and would not fear it.
I tried to hard to listen to what she was saying, and I do like the idea that it's not governments job to give free handouts to people who haven't EARNED it even to its own citizens, let alone people oversees, but I was distracted by her weird accent and silly name. "amn, em be some mo funny names than any I ever heard". LOL
@ChristFavorsME I am distracted by your dumbness, and your name. How can Christ favor a closeted homosexual?Having a small willy does not warrant you to be an abomination, he he he
What is your view of the president of Eritrea buzzing about the importance of self-reliance policy which has been put in place ever since the liberation of Eritrea militarily 1991 and recognised by the UN after the refrrendum 1993? Please try to answer this very important question to me if possible. Has he been doing the right thing by denying any aid programme emanating from the West? I think that you are speaking in his vein or am I wrong? I do appreciate your arguments!
The elitist western rulers know what they are doing when they send aid to Africa that's swallowed up by corrupt African leaders. They dont want Africa to develop, they just want it under their thumb. Evil despots rule the continent & live a life of luxury, whilst the masses live in squalor. I have worked in Kenya & seen it at first hand. 98% live in cockroach infested shacks, whilst the 2% live in suburbs on par with Hollywood including swish security protected shopping & entertainment complexes
Emergency aid makes sense. When your neighbor's house is burning, you don't "rent" him the garden hose. You lend it to him.
But the long-term aid has gotten nowhere. Look at New York; we've been spending fortunes on "fighting crime," but nothing on afterschool or summer programs, which keep the kids off the streets.

As long as he redirected her on to a significantly more trivial aspect of the topic, she was allowed to continue on... This can also be applied to our growing entitlement society. An economy cannot be successful if you have a vast number of "takers". We need to increase the productive and find ways to eliminate those that drain the resources such as not allowing them to get comfortable in the "taker" role.
jackiegus 2 months ago
I completely agree with her point: I don't think African nations and other third world countries should be the baby dolls of the world's superpowers. It really does seem like a continuation of Kipling ideals, however with the dissociation of race across economic lines, rather than being a white man's burden, its the burden of "the greatest countries on earth." Sometimes countries do need bandaids, but where is the encouragement for real growth?

Would it help if development aid is tied to reforms?
This seems to be a middle ground. You will be giving a country needed aid for development but in order for a country to recieve it their gov't must put in place it's own political and economic reforms that most people in the country agree with and maintain them. If those reforms aren't maintained then no more aid.
CrowdPleeza 5 months ago
@CrowdPleeza That's imperialism. That's why other countries hate us so much. We can't go around telling other people what to do.
notadirector 5 months ago
@notadirector
CrowdPleeza 5 months ago

I am not saying that it is not an issue at all, but it's overemphasized.
ihateneveen 6 months ago
@ihateneveen Overpopulation is a factor of several things. Such as technology, social structure, availability of clean water and fertility of the land.
There are areas of the world, especially with technology and infrastructure, which can support higher population densities than others, to put it simply.
While overpopulation isn't the ONLY problem in Africa, it's still a HUGE problem! And the growth of the population is one of the problems which results from aid without education.
LastBastionOfTruth 6 months ago
@LastBastionOfTruth True, but is is not as much to a contributor of poverty as people make it sound. If that were the case, then every country with an overpopulation problem would be poor. Clearly, that is not the case.
ihateneveen 6 months ago
Respond to this video... I guess what I am trying to ask is, do we take care of overpopulation, and hope a reduction in poverty follows? Or do we take care of poverty first, and then overpopulation will take care of itself. I guess it's a chicken or egg type of question. But some people overproduce, because children are their workers, and its a response to poverty, not necessarily the cause. It isn't always because condoms are not available.
ihateneveen 6 months ago
@ihateneveen Oh, I missed you wrote a couple comments prior to that last one.
"Taking care of poverty" isn't so easy. And taking care of poverty doesn't necessarily mean overpopulation will end by itself. In fact, until you address the SOCIAL and EDUCATIONAL issues, no amount of money will help end either, permanently.
As for condoms not being available.... that was more a JOKE way of putting it. I mean to say that birth control, i.e. the WILL & KNOWLEDGE to use it, is essential.
LastBastionOfTruth 6 months ago
@LastBastionOfTruth Yes, but if we can eradicate poverty, then people who overpopulate because their children die early ( due to lacking basic health care) won't have to overproduce to ensure the survival of their progeny. Children are seen as income, because they are future workers. Redesigning the whole system, so that parents can earn money by other means, will discourage the need to overpopulate. BIRTH CONTROL access is only the tip of the iceberg. I GET that you were being sarcastic
ihateneveen 6 months ago
@ihateneveen But do you REALLY believe that people are so purposeful and rational about their reproduction, in such areas, that they only overpopulate to, as you say, "overproduce" because of a perceived need? Hardly! The whole idea of overproduction implies a lack of understanding of resources on a society-wide level. And people aren't going to just stop having kids if no longer poor.
What I say is needed is the EDUCATION and AWARENESS to control birth rates.
LastBastionOfTruth 6 months ago
@ihateneveen And you never explained how we "eradicate poverty".
To me, it all comes back to education, skills and social improvement. This will not only produce people who see that it's wise to have fewer children, but it will also greatly raise their standard of living.
The problem is in getting from a primitive, tribal, uneducated society to a civilized one. It's not easy. And warlord leaders don't make it any easier.
LastBastionOfTruth 6 months ago
@LastBastionOfTruth Well you kept going with it, so I assumed I didn't need any explanation. How we go about eradicating poverty (pretty self-explanatory to ME) is what I was ASKING. Meaning, I am not sure which is the best way to go about it.
ihateneveen 5 months ago
@ihateneveen OK, it's uncertain, then, just what parts you were asking or stating.
You say "pretty self-explanatory to me". What; the need to eradicate poverty or HOW?
I find eradicating poverty to be one of those ideals, like "cutting spending" or "balancing the budget". Everyone agrees that it's a good thing but few can agree on HOW to go about it.
To me, true eradication of poverty includes social reform, education and just governmental reforms.
LastBastionOfTruth 5 months ago
All the boatload of condoms in the world won't make much of a difference, if corrupt fat cats do nothing to help out their people. It's systematic policies designed to keep them oppressed that is a big cause of poverty, not necessarily overpopulation. Again, I am not saying it is not a problem, but it is not as dire as others.
ihateneveen 6 months ago
@ihateneveen I agree the corrupt leaders of those nations present a HUGE problem for the people!
Sending money, teachers or boatloads of condoms won't help if the governments intercept the money and prevent the rest from helping the people.
However that's not the only problem for all the nations; in some cases, it's just that the culture overall is dysfunctional. There are many problems over there and no simple answer.

DaMuttzNutz 9 months ago 4
@DaMuttzNutz Frankly, I'd rather send a boat load of condoms than a boat load of food, to SubSaharan Africa.
Their family planning and sexual practices are causing them a lot more problems than lack of food, and if you send food, you're only going to wind up, in a few years, with a ton more starving mouths to feed, many of whom will soon be HIV+.
You can't help them much until they start being more responsible for these things; and JUST free food does not "teach".

@RonQE The big money interests would love to exploit a more healthy Africa and would not fear it? You can't be that naive. It is not about Africa being and economic threat it is about profitability, a more stable Africa = a less profitable trade for natural resources and that in it's own is a hazard.
kesomox 8 months ago
@kesomox Yet that is not what the previous statement was about. It was suggesting that the big money interests would need to fear the competition of a viable Africa; which is NOT the case.
Whether a more stable Africa would cause a steep rise in the price of natural resources is another matter; one which has some merit and would be worth of discussion.
Of course a war-torn Africa vs. one manipulated by corporations is quite a debate unto itself.
RonQE 8 months ago 2
@RonQE The idea that big money interests are in favor of a more stable Africa is the case with regards to your comment. A lot of these materials are obtained of the unlivable wages or right out slavery of the natives, would materials run for as cheap if the cost of extraction rose?
"A war torn Africa vs one manipulated by corporations" why are the two are mutually exclusive? The media loves to romanticize the issues surrounding Africa as simplistic, seems too many easily fall for they hype
kesomox 8 months ago
@kesomox The question is how much the cost of extraction would actually rise if many African nations stabilized. There are a lot of factors which go into that, such as type of government, social attitudes, corporate influence, etc. Many nations are stable and still have amazingly cheap labor.
It would be interesting to see just how much in natural resources actually come from Africa, how much it costs and who is in control over there.
RonQE 8 months ago 4
@RonQE So the wages of economically healthy nations providing cheap labor are comparable to the that of unstable ones providing pay that does not afford a living standard above the poverty line?
Africa is the wealthiest in terms of natural resources (excl. oil). A number of western nations have built their wealth of these regimes. We are reaching a turning point with the rising of the east and imminent collapse of the USA with a debt level it has no way of paying back. should be interesting

@dreamEternal Its not ignorance but straight out facts. You can go ask the native Americans the few who are left on these lands when it comes to their survival and interest. Oh how about the people in Tasmania. Thats not a good choice because the people of Tasmania are extinct because of British occupation. How the people in Libya who has outsiders once again from the west deciding the self determination self realization and self consciousness.
arronnov 2 weeks ago
@arronnov you do realise the native amerticans of which you speak are the ancestors of the first asiatic people to enter north america and subsequently killed the true native americans, who were originally europeans. dont take my word for it look at the archeological evidence the oldest, remains, artifacts and dna in north america are all of european origin. thats ignorance but you will simply call bullshit on everything that does not fit your over simplified world view. jog on
kyototakeshi1 1 week ago
@kyototakeshi1 I realize that the same people pushing this agenda are the same one's claiming the Ancient Egyptian not moderns came from outside of Africa. Basically eliminating indigenous Africans with the flow of the Nile river which flows south to the North. Europeans or Asians where the originators of Egyptian according to these people. How about the Piltdown man claiming the origins of mans started in Europe.
arronnov 1 week ago
@kyototakeshi1 Western white civilization has been hell bent pushing a political driven worldview on mankind. This encompass that nobody has a history other than the one whites have given to you to have. When you say something counter to the western white worldview you cast as pseudo.
arronnov 1 week ago
@arronnov yes there a huge conspiracy, dont make me laugh. lol what are you talking about, "nobody has a history other than the one whites have given" tell me this false history that has been portrayed by the white man. what a joke. when afrocentrists have conjured up a true pseudo-historical world view. where everything blackis good and everything white is so bad. lol tell me how black people have contributed to society then, un censored, feel free this should be fun.
kyototakeshi1 1 week ago
@kyototakeshi1 What is afrocentrist? I know its a word whites have created for black who don't take their marching orders from the western white point of view. Whites have been taking liberty with naming things or changing names since the Greeks. In the history of whites black people never did anything but where the original people and oldest on the planet. When we decide to see the world through our eyes and experience on our terms. We become pseudo or afrocentrist.

@kyototakeshi1 The day is over for black people to seek approval and go ahead on our worldview perspective and history.
arronnov 1 week ago
@arronnov once again all you are doing is making claims site examples of where white people change history to suit them. and please give understanding of our history and give evidence, until then all you are doing is spouting bullshit rhetoric. i am not asking for black people to seek approval but validate their assertions come on lol, whats the matter cat got your tongue? or as expected you are regurgitating bullshit, i'm waiting lol
kyototakeshi1 1 week ago
@kyototakeshi1 You are asking for black people to seek approval. All threw my academic education in a western white country aka America especially when I was young. The education when it came to history. Black people was written out of history with specific purpose. You have to ask why is this. Also why have whites been so hell bent on trying to control us on our history? When you get the answers to those question you get alot of clarity.
arronnov 1 week ago
@arronnov cont. as for afrocentrism, the word is not necessarily the product of the white man but a product of the language used to define it and its formation solidly supports the philosophy behind its definition.the race of the individual is irrelevant, but the term afrocentrisity was popularised by black people themselves, so its obvious you are ignorant of this, look it up.lol i am asking you for the true history what haveblack people given the world, enlighten us lol
kyototakeshi1 1 week ago
@kyototakeshi1 There's not a fight to get a western white education on history especially when it comes to black people. You must accept everything like the bible and etc as history. However when your do like all cultures or groups people do. That is see your world which includes your history through your worldview self consciousness and etc. Then whites want you to seek validation and acceptance for them.
arronnov 1 week ago
@arronnov lol its not a white education, its an education. name one other race of people that agree with the afrocentrist view on history, you'll find all races come to the same conclusion. lol white people dont want you to seek validation, but they want you to back the false claims you make about your own history. you are spouting the rhetoric of afrocentrists, start providing evidence for your wild accusations, as for the bible that is not a primary historical resource once again you fail
kyototakeshi1 1 week ago

When your righteous with knowledge you wouldn't even worry about others you perceive telling lies.

@kyototakeshi1 My evidence in all the white control museums and university in Europe and America. All the artifacts that have been stolen from Africa. Lets not forget the private collection that individuals whites have on their own. I just went to a ancient Egyptian exhibit in St Petersburg Florida. One Germany man owns this collection with over 200 pieces.
arronnov 5 days ago
@kyototakeshi1 This goes for other the other ancient African artifacts that fill white control museums universities and private collections. We don't have any history but whites are consumed with having our ancient artifacts. Thats very strange to see this behavior. I guess the so-called educated and elite whites don't see African people not having history since their obsession over African art and artifacts doesn't stop.

@kyototakeshi1 My intention is not to prove anything western white civilization. I've gotten out of that mental condition of looking to a system and people who deem African people inferior. Especially when they've written African people out of their version of world history. That was done for a reason and effect.

kyototakeshi1 4 days ago
@kyototakeshi1 You suffer from a pathology of culturally conditioning in which whites believe whites they don't have bias and agenda towards blacks in our own history. You just strength my resolve that you have a fear of black people being self defining self realizing and self conscious outside of white approval and control. As long as black people accept the standard whites set for us in any endeavor everything fine. When we step away from that control. They where attacked.
arronnov 3 days ago
@arronnov you say i fear black self defining, lol you are yet to define anything lol. dont you get that. all you have done is make accusations. yet you have not defined what parts of history whites have lied about. give examples of how white people have lied about black history, obviously you belief this but cannot site examples, lol once again you are coming across as an ill education fool.give us your understanding of african free from white bias, u cant because its BS
kyototakeshi1 3 days ago
@kyototakeshi1 I'm ill educated because I don't follow the pathology of western white civilization version of history for black people. Like I been saying when you step out of the program of control of western white thought. You will be attacked by it and those who accept it view of the world. Its like on the movie the Matrix. The agents don't attack you as long as you stay in step and maintain a program thats written for you.
arronnov 3 days ago
@arronnov u its fine 2 disagree with the facts, but u must explain y. u cant just say white men have written black people out of their history, yet cannot provide evidence to back this up, all u have is a matrix analogy .forget the matrix or any conspiracy theory + inform me of what the true history of africa and black people is if the white mans understanding is wrong, i challenge u, enlighten us.stop going around in circles, be a man + back up your claims, until then take the mocking u deserve
kyototakeshi1 3 days ago
@kyototakeshi1 I don't want to enlighten you . My first charge is enlighten black the world over of who they are and what they are as people in regards to their humanity. arronnov 2 days ago
@arronnov as i thought, u are full of hot air, all rhetoric + no substance whatsoever. uve nothing the world hadnt already heard + denounced as fantasy. thats not a white perspective thats a perspective of truth.by all means determine your own humanity but u cannot determine the facts without evidence or explanation.u have no intellectual revelation youre simply making unsupported accusations out of racial bias, how dumb are u, because your coming across as having learning difficulties right now

arronnov 1 day ago
@arronnov once again you make accusations without evidence and condemn facts without given an alternative. cant you see what you are, a conspiracy theorist too scared to inform anyone of the conspiracy because you know you have no evidence to support your wild claims. you dont site examples of how the white men have somehow changed so called black history, why. because you know i already heard all the crazy lies afrocentrists spout and am waiting to prove you wrong on everyting you say coward
kyototakeshi1 1 day ago
@kyototakeshi1 Your waiting for me to accept western white worldview which covers every dynamic from history politics and etc as the universal standard for mankind. I don't by into that premise. If black all over this planet stop buying into the western white paradigm and worldview today.
arronnov 19 hours ago
@arronnov i dont care if you accept the truth or not, lol but understad rambling like a conspiracy theorist only succeeds in 1 thing, making you look like an idiot. i ask you to simply state at least 1 occasion when a white man has usurped ant event in black history. this is the allegation you are making, obviously you can provide one example of this, can you? i dont care if you agree with me, when i know i am right.

arronnov 19 hours ago
@arronnov once again another accusation, do you known the difference between accusation and evidence, lol obviously not. your saying that economics, etc. is a tool to control the black man, every other race seem,s to be able to understand and use economic principleas to best siut their people, it seems only black people expect to be given something, why dont you educate yourself instead of building a fallacious pseudo world around you to make you feel better. thats just sad
kyototakeshi1 5 hours ago
@kyototakeshi1 Your very ignorant to history. When whites of western Europe pushing their evil of imperialism and colonialism around the planet. Some of them actually express their humanity even though they didn't understand fully.
arronnov 19 hours ago
@arronnov once again (yawn) another accusation instead of saying "written past and present" back up you accusation by referencing these so called writings. you say black people have achieved great things that the white man has usurped, all i ask is for you to give an example, instead of making an emotional plea, one example please to back up your false belief, rememner anybelief unsupported by evidence however sincerely held is a false belief.
kyototakeshi1 5 hours ago
@kyototakeshi1 Western white civilization politics was stealing the land and controlling the resources.

53Africa 7 months ago
@53Africa You have to understand my point, though. I'm not commenting so much on the sheer availability of condoms, but on USING them!
In other words, there is no long-term solution in most African nations, until they learn to control their population and birth rate, as well as being generally self-responsible and more educated about such things.
There can be condoms on every street corner but they don't do any good if not enough people actually WEAR them! LOL!
LastBastionOfTruth 7 months ago 11
@LastBastionOfTruth? No one is waiting for handouts, stop that debilitating negativity towards our great African Continent! Aid comes in whenever there is a drought or war but most of the Aid & assistant, actually comes from the neighboring countries.

@53Africa You didn't bother to actually READ my comment, did you?

@LastBastionOfTruth? We use condoms but most of the information is written in English or French and Portuguese so how can u educate the people if the King don`t really understand ur language. The American Army, consist of International individuals which can be considered as adding Worker Aid for beneficiary relations.
53Africa 7 months ago
@53Africa Yet one doesn't need to have a plethora of information on condoms and family planning in the native languages to understand the basics. That's why translators are a good thing. Also that is why I am more in favor of TEACHING these things, such as birth control, population reduction and planning, instead of just shipping food and aid. Controlling the population is essential before you can expect food to be a long-term solution.
LastBastionOfTruth 7 months ago
@LastBastionOfTruth,@LastBastionOfTruth, you just took the words out of my mouth when you said, Controlling the population is essential before you can expect food to be a long-term solution. Since 1991 to 2002, Zambia was blessed by the mighty spirit of God trough its wonderful Zambezi river coz president Frederick Chiluba country saw a rise in social-economic growth. Use 3 major local languages like Bemba, Nyanja, Mbukushu.
53Africa 7 months ago
@53Africa Not sure what the "blessing" you speak of is? The population has grown around 60-70% in the last 20 years despite an awful AIDS epidemic there. The population should decrease and steps should be taken to stem the spread of AIDS so the people who are alive, live well.
If African citizens were better educated in these matters, the problems would abate. But without that education and will to use it, no amount of aid in the world will help end the suffering.

@LastBastionOfTruth If you want to slow down population make the country more affluent. When women become more educated they have less children and wait longer to have children all societies have this factor. It's not just "being responsible" all societies have this phase including ours.
blueiguy1 6 months ago
@blueiguy1 I agree, being affluent helps, but it's not just "make a country affluent and they will become educated". It's HOW they become affluent and what kind of social changes the society undergoes in the process.
If you just handed most African nations a ton of money, for example, they won't just suddenly start taking responsibility and educating their population. There's a lot more to it than that.
I still believe the best solution is to begin with education.

RonQE 10 months ago 2
@RonQE not just blacks but the people who are unemployed, and can not find jobs.
fatboy10121 9 months ago
@fatboy10121 But the problem in the black communities runs deeper than just those who couldn't find jobs. Even though, it's true, if you were to just start handing ALL unemployed people money, with no expiration date, and not ask them to better themselves, a similar thing might happen to them that happened to the black communities.
Actually you see it, somewhat, in the rural welfare trailer parks; it's a smaller example of what you see in black groups.
RonQE 9 months ago 2
@RonQE Your comment about African Americans is racist and ignorant. This discussion is about Africans on the African continent and not about African Americans. In the USA there are poor white people that are suffering as well due to unemployment.

LOL
Plus I don't really listen to niggers.

How odd. My old high school English teacher also grew up in Africa and has a similar opinion to this woman.
I never thought about charity being bad at times. I need to think on this. . .
