This video really helped me alot, I took the washer apart and noticed the dogs teeth were worn smooth. I watched your videos and didn't realize that the dogs were the actual parts that made the upper agitator to spin. I was going to replace the whole agitator assembly which was $48 from Sears but instead just bought the dogs for $10 at my local Sears service center and cleaned up all the other parts real good. Everything works like new again now!!! thanks again.
British James, I love you! I'm watching your videos to replace a lid switch, but in this video you were talking about the agitator. Came to think of it, I didn't think my machine was agitating properly. Your description of my twisted pants legs was spot on. I popped off the lid to the agitator and found dozens of rocks and pebbles! Thanks for all your help! Before long I'll have both my washer & dryer running again and will have saved a bundle.
