This was a great show , and a great demonstration , I never miss The Quonset air show. I think they really hyped this plane , so many people came to see it , including myself.. When I went back the next day it was gone , due to not running right.
Red Flag 2007 F-22 had a 15-1 kill ration against the typhoon. At Red Flag 2007, RAAF Squadron Leader Stephen Chappell, F-15 exchange pilot in the 65th Aggressor Squadron, commented that "The thing (F-22) denies your ability to put a weapons system on it, even when I can see it through the canopy. It's the most frustrated I've ever been."[33
Don't know what you're talking about. When I saw it later on it was working just fine. I first thought it was an F-15 from the parking lot. I saw the heritage flight though, you can probably hear me yelling in the F-15 video later on. I got the holy shit pass and didn't cover my ears in time. Great to see it fly live, he eventually recovered afterburner. I know I was almost baked by it.
Hoshimaru57, like steve said Max was having trouble with the planes afterburner and if you listen in the video he dedicated the show to the engine makers. I found it funny that he had engine troubles after that...
Yes, I know but I saw it later on and it looked like the afterburner had been relit. I almost got melted by it, a huge white flaming trail behind the plane with intense heat that could be felt from the ground.
bad takeoff. should've taken off right from runway. would've been much better

When the F-22 Raptors fly into trouble spots the enemy combatants will part like the Red Sea. Hail to the KING!

lol isn't it kind of ironic that with the show dedicated to the Pratt and Witney guys he has trouble with one of the engines.

the neat and amazing thing about the f-22 isthat it does not have afterburners. its engines can propel it to supersonic speeds without afterburners.
thebigbrownbox 3 years ago
it has afterburners it just doesnt need them to go supersonic which is indeed very cool
