and what do i do with my last stich? because i have 2 rows at 1 length and the next 2, 1 stich smaller?????????? what do i do at the last stich then? do i join it on randomly at the end of the last stich?????? questions, questions... haha xx

Hi Claire! I love the style of this bag. Would you follow the same pattern if you made it all the same color or would you switch it up to a double crochet or half double crochet without the gaps?

@azlmt If you just want to make it solid then yes I would make it solid, no chain spaces all stitches :)

I'm wondering what kind of yarn you used and what size hook? Or does it not matter?

@erinallport1 I used 8ply carnival (its a aussie brand) and a 4mm hook ..but you can use what yarn you like, but if it is thicker and a larger hook than what i used it will come out bigger :)

Parts 2 and 3 are going to be hard to wait for ;-) I'm really looking forward to carrying a bag like that around. I think I'm going to do dark blue and black, maybe add some white. In honor of my very distant Scottish relatives' tartan.

Love the way that silver looks, also... I found if I slip knot my new color then chain kne when I go to add it in, it stays better after washing it(you have to makeyourslip knot really small and pull it super snug so it doesn't get bulky) :)
