  • I bought a C-key diatonic and can't get a fukin' sound out of it.

  • I had the same problem too starting to play the Blues harp, but try this, I got the advices from some friends on Youtube.

    Don't blow, just draw !

Draw hole 2, 3 and 4 and you get a pure Blues-sound in the key of G.

Draw and blow these holes and you

    have it !

    That's the Key ! *smile*

    Peace Brother !

  • Pattman gigged at the bar of a tiny airport where I worked in south GA. He was a fantastic musician, singer, and storyteller. Combs of his harps were swollen, uneven, and split. The covers were rusty and mashed. He sounded great. I was lucky to play with Neal, Carey Bell, and "Chicago" Bob Nelson. Those guys are super pro (and way over my head) but none of 'em had fancy instruments, custom mics, or boutique amps. They plugged straight into the PA. I remember when I see expensive mods ;)

Not Familiar with Mr Pattman but I do enjoy the style of music.

  • Larry, Mr Pattman is one of the forgotten bluesmen, we in Music Maker Relief Foundation help, try to help in their poverty.

To listen to him is good enough to help the Blues survive.

  • love this one urban, when was it recorded,5/5

  • Thanks Tony, it's me playing and you taught me ! *big smile* No, it's N Pattman a forgotten bluesman from North/South Carolina. He recorded this in the 1990:ths, so it's new, but still the old good sound.
