  • Why did i know Ian would be taken out by submission?

  • Dyers is a fake arse actor with a mockney accent

  • think he just didnt know how to get off his back :/

  • Chuffin ugly tattoos....don't see the point.

  • its funny how everyone in the comment sections are martial art masters/ politcs experts/ animal experts

  • @dalektaliban, And you are a master of observation, obviously :P

  • This guy has no sharpness no natural agility and doesn't look very well trained, I don't compete because I cant put in enough hours but I would fight this guy and be very optimistic of the outcome, thats just my opinion and I dont believe it's far fetched

  • try losing the fat on your hips before the water and you wont need to dehydrate so much or better yet if that weight was muscle and you lost the same amount of water it would give him an edge

  • I go out jogging every morning and go boxing and swimming during the week, but that's piss compared to these guys routines!! that would be there warm up! they'd eat me for breakfast lol

  • @swat006007 doubt it, if you have boxing ability you could definitely out box him, 2:42 slowest jab perhaps ever, then body shots thrown from an upright position not bending his legs to throw from cover hands off his chin I'm sure as someone who boxes you noticed that, it is easy to talk I know and tougher when in there when I get filmed sparring so I can analyze sometimes I'm like wow thats sloppy and thats how you improve but shit its better than that and I am amateur

  • @lilblitz boxing in MMA will never look the same as in normal boxing. they have to adjust to the rules, they can get kicked, clinched, knee'd, taken down etc.. so the stance is different and so is the whole way they move

all that bob and weave, putting your head down for cover and so on, is not that effective in MMA. its an open invitaiton to knees and kicks

thats the problem with boxers critizising MMA fighters and their striking. its 2 different sports, there will be big differences

  • @MuayThaiViking we had a striking seminar at my gym 3 months ago cant remember coaches name he was leaving after to train dan henderson for his fight, he comes in just to work on striking, mostly punching, he started by saying yes mma striking is different but pointed out how weak their striking is there was mau tai, mma and boxers at the seminar he used me 80 percent of the time to demonstrate what he was teaching, pics on our fb but the moron kept snapping the back of my head

  • @lilblitz anyway we do agree the striking level of many MMA fighters could be a lot better. but many of them come from a jiujitsu, wrestling or judo background. so of course it takes time to get good like anything else

just wanted to say that its still 2 different sports and will therefore never look the same. guess we agree on that too

  • @MuayThaiViking whatever said and done for hand strikes boxing should be the staple, did you see after freddie roach worked with Gsp what he did to kosckek? In that seminar he asked at the begining who is trying to fight pro all the mma douches put their hands up, sure they could kick me thats my weakness and I appreciate the effectiveness of the mau thai clinch, I box and wrestle and as far as striking we were much much better by far than the most advanced mma guys there

  • @lilblitz yea as i said many people train specific styles with specialists to improve their game. i also used boxing as an example. and yes, freddie roach has improved many fighters striking. andrei arlovski looked a lot more sharp after being coached by freddie

cant see why a kid is being a douche just because he wants to be a pro fighter.

alistair overeem doesnt look like a classic boxer, but his striking is still very good. he won K-1 after all, competing against pure kickboxers

  • @lilblitz but yes many of them could learn a lot from traditional boxing. just like many MMA fighters also go to brazil to train BJJ, holland/thailand for kickboxing/muaythai and so on. just remember there is a reason why it doesnt look like traditional boxing

  • Saooenuahhs

  • Ian, shouldn't be so hard onhimself. Jetlag, rapid weight loss? Not a good recipe.

  • what i didnt understand was the other twin to me was the better fighter why wasnt he fighting for England instend

  • Comment removed

  • Didn't expect him to say they won four out of five and top of the table.

  • good at street fighting thats about it

  • he's lost lost 9 fights, has not won one since 2006 but yet is one of danny dyers deadliest men??? in his own words.... GI ME A BREAK YOU FACKING MUG!!

  • Take out all your anger out on dave and ian over youtube, then let them take there amusement out on you, and they would still leave you in hospital

  • to the guys arguing over youtube i have two short and simple words for you both, GROW UP!!!!

  • @jiminitin86

Are you new to t'internet? every vid on youtube has some retarded argument going on in the comments. Let the 'tards have their war, they'll never learn.

  • @30Ciaran na am not new, just gettin fed up of tryin to watch videos and seeing all these half brained comments lol

  • i fu-ally in-join da,

    cheers

  • i feel sorry for dave

do you reckon he can fight again or is it all over for him?

  • @TheJoKer261094

dave cant fight again, from that car crash, which is why he coaches england and also teaches others in several gyms in huddersfield, he was an immense fighter as well, but still a slid street fighter

  • @TheNewBreeDGaming Ahh im feeling for dave man i cant imagine myself being injured and never being able to fight again, i thought because, he beat his brother in that little fight, he could fight again in the future

  • @TheJoKer261094 I know its guttering and would be hard, but he seems happy enough and also keeps fit and keeps his body tone up : ) so hes still a guy not to mess with haha :D

  • The walk a 0.32.....hard man.!!!!!

  • Is it actually possible to lose 1 stone in less than a day? Maybe I should tell my missus!

  • @tronners1 good 1 man ;)

  • did not have any effect on the fight as he was taken out by an arm bar despite starting off strong. His ground game was not strong enough; looked like his stand up was strong though.

  • The psychological ba-awww between 'em will wraage-on fowrevva!

  • That would suck if you were the only one to lost your fight and the rest of your team wins :(

  • Guys - none of you clear understand competitive fighting. Most fighters will come in at about 10lbs to 15lbs over weight, and then cut through dehydrating a day before the fight for the weigh-in, and rehydrate. That's normal. It happens in boxing, and in MMA.

Ian's a good lad. I trained over with them a few years back for a few days. He's just not as rounded as the fighters who compete on a world level. Spar with him or his brothers, you'll know how tough he is. Dave is as strong as an ox too

  • @SeanOBriain They dont cut 14 lbs in a day, thats ridiculous, even 2 days ,you are not going to rehydrate in 24 hours from that water cut and youll be weak and fatigued. If he was my student,he wouldnt be geting on the plane.

  • @billysue2 Um, you don't know much about MMA then. 14lbs cut is considered normal for someone at lightweight in a 24 hour period. It's water-weight. Light-heavyweights can cut 30lbs of water weight. Heavyweights much the same.

  • @SeanOBriain not only do I understand mma and all combat sports, ive a degree in sports rehabilitation and physiology.Water cutting and its effects have been well studied in amature wrestling,14 ibs in 24 hours is downright dangerous and would leave anyone weak as a kitten, regardless of what mma fighters might think. Its particularly harmful in sports with high power endurance requirements like mma.24 hours is also not long enough to replete water and carbs fully for the fight the next day.

  • @billysue2 Look - a 14lb cut is considered normal. I'm aware of how dangerous it is, I have cut weight for competition myself. It involves intense sauna sessions, and you feel extremely weak after it - but it's not only possible, but the norm when it comes to competitive fighting. Some lightweights cut over 20lbs. Gleison Tibau cuts 30lbs in water weight in a 24 hour period, which is well documented. Look him up. 14 is nothing in terms of pro MMA. Infact, it is the minimal amount you would cut

  • @SeanOBriain 30lbs is physically impossible in 24 hours,it wasnt officially documented, its hearsay. No pro mma fighter with a coach that knows anything about performance would let a fighter go 1 day before weigh in 14 lbs overweight

  • @billysue2 No it isn't physically impossible. You're clearly not informed on weight-cutting from MMA. I'm not interested in going back on forth on the issue. 14lbs is a standard cut. There's nothing amazing about it. Now stop wasting my time and educate yourself on MMA weight cuts. Infact, watch a boxing match - HBO shows the in-ring weight of fighters after a weigh in.

  • @SeanOBriain 14 lbs is a standard cut,not in 1 day by dehydration though which is what you claim. Also, the in ring weights show what was regained in carbs and water, not what was lost in 24 hours, again your contention.

  • who the FUCK turns up a stone overweight to weigh in ??? (a stone is 14 lbs to all you americans)

  • @roadrunnerblink Thats 2weeks hard crash dieting as , he deserves a kick in the tits for that.

  • i hate it when people hug you on the ground like that.. god its anoying.

  • @skedtm its called Jiu-Jitsu, RETARD! Its a huge, hugeee part of MMA today so get used to it.

  • @YoungVidic15 in boxing they tend to make sure they are at the right weight to fight in their class as weigh ins usually happen a few days or a week or whatever before the fight, then the boxers pile on the carbs to put more weight on before the fight. basically they'll weigh more when they fight, and sometimes will be over the class-weight

  • @Bilt8 carbs for the cage in Aussie aswell mate..take ya weight then its italian night and pototo mash breakfast

  • @Bilt8 Yeah i know..........Whats your point?

  • @YoungVidic15 i like turtles

  • @Bilt8 TAXI FOR THIS LAD! Lmao

  • @YoungVidic15 yeeeee boring kid. at least im a lad.. unlike you :/

  • @Bilt8 Well i bet i'd rip your head off ya poof!

Grow a spine you useless little man. By the way I got an A in my English exams and I'm going on to be a journalist so I can't be that bad, thanks... Dickhead

  • @YoungVidic15 Congratulations, you're still a dirty Irish pikey regardless :) Love how you started with the comment on how you'd rip my head off. You are solid. Genuinely a bellend tbh. Crack on you gimp. xD

  • @Bilt8 Yeah dead on and your a queen loving knob jockey. You little prick get out your mums basement virgin boy! Yeah a 4 year old girl could rip your head off, yeah and your pathetic.

  • @Bilt8 Where do you get this shit? haha, your a fucking disaster. I'm sick of arguing with fucktards like you so give it a rest Queen lover!

  • I dont understand why danny dyer would of done the episode because really this guy and his brother isnt exactly Living Dangerously they are cage fighters yes!!.. but theres nothing dangerous or deadly about any of there lifes.... danny dyer even said that his broter lives a HONEST life!> how is that deadly? interesting episode but defintley not the best!

  • Not eating for 2 days before the fight and spending all that time in the sauna is never gunna help your effort

  • All this, just to watch a guy not make weight?!

  • No doubt that dopey lad could beat me to death, but lets be honest I don't pretend to be a cage fighter and that lad looked so out of his depth when that Jap started thumping him. I just feel a bit sorry for these poor lost lads resorting to thumping each other to finding some meaning in their miserable lives. But within less than 5 seconds after posting this I will have forgotten about them, that is how much I care.

  • @gungis123 - Did you just stop listening when it suited you? They beat Japan 4-1 & that put them top (he was the only one that lost out of their team). Miserable lives? How the fuck do you know what their lives are like? Everything you know about them you've learned in this crappy little half-hour doc. So that amounts to fuck-all basically.

And yeah, he could beat you to death, with one of his fists. No doubt you're just an envious, jealous, puny little skinny pencil neck prick. LOL

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Sorry, didn't mean to insult your boyfriend. You utter c&nt.

  • @gungis123 utter candnt?

  • @HoneyDJon HES CALLING YOU A CUNT! YOUR A CUNT! YOUR A CUNT THAT CANT READ YOU CUNT, NOW FUCK OFF YOU CUNT.

  • @gungis123 dude dont feel sorry for them, most fighters in the ufc have college degrees and a very good head on their shoulders indeed, they realised they have an amazing gift, the gift of combat (and the gift of being hard as fuck) so they persued a career, mixed martial arts is the fastest growing sport in the world and there is a HUGE amount of money to made. they most certainly do not have miserable lives, most of them have mansions and cars and bitches we couldnt even dream of. peace out :)

  • How stupid is this guy? What the fuck did he expect? Twat.

  • wat i dont understand is how did he put on weight on the flight ther..? i did the same thing but lost like 2 kilos on my flight lol

  • Losing that weight so quick he must have been weak, but 4 out of 5 winning and he let side down....lucky his brother didn't break other jaw lol.

  • u lot take the piss but im sure they would kick the fuck out of u

  • @JoShErIvErSoN not me :D i'm a nice guy

  • what a fucking bold bastard, its going to effect your head if your in the sauna for that long. you can faint if your in the heat for to long!

  • totally rank amateurs - shouldnt have even been on this series

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA I truly am a cunt but this boy made the fuck up by being a stone over weight regardless of that he got his cunt kicked in anyway. Danny dyer is taking the piss clean out of them but they are that fucking thick they dont even realise,SO whos the real cunts ahaahahahah

  • Comment removed

  • lost one stone in 2 days.

    beat that

  • This episode was kind of different from the others, not so much pissin around about this and that. Seems like good lads.

  • He was 20 pounds overweight when he weighed himself 9 days before. 9kg. lol, that's ridiculous.

  • How the fuck was he a stone over his fight weight did he not know how much he was suppose to weigh before he went. What a fucking knob you could maybe excuse it if it was 2,3 or even 4 pounds but 14 pounds !!! Wankers....

  • lol.... and if he was 14 pounds over, he's clearly in the wrong weight class.... 5 hours a day fully clothed in a sauna... ahahahahahaha. that is all water. by the time he has flown to Japan he will have put it all on!!!

Why don't the NHS just put all the fat cunts in saunas and there would be no need to diet!!

This programme takes the piss out of the ignorant cunts that exist in our society. It shouold be used as a test.. anyone who believes this shit should be culled.

  • i dno why i keep watching these at 12 oclock at night i always want to head down the gym after it

  • I am wanting to head down and train with this camp they are real class guys if you ask me

  • You want to get your head down between their legs morelike... a class act... just before he flew out (as he was packing) he said he had been dieting for days... lol.... they are rank amateurs... he should have had a controlled diet well over amonth out to avoid being weight drained.

    They are clueless.

  • I couldn't agree more

  • these guys are hard.
