  • Yeah, I was doing this wrong way. Thanks for that awesome tip!

  • Would this work with Dream Matte Mousse?

  • w0w you have a twitchy eye towards the end

    ;)

    ;)

    ;)

    ARGG

  • Great tip! Thanks for sharing.

  • I love the winks ! :D

  • hi can you post the video how clean the brushes plz

  • What's better, a stippling brush or a foundation brush?

  • heyy this was uploaded on my bday!

  • See, once again another great tip. Who says you can't teach an old dog a new "tip" ;)

  • i am loving how straight forward your videos are. you make your point very clearly. it is so refreshing!!! seriously, i love you.

  • Ohh thank you!

  • @violet1974 A really good stippling brush is the Sonya Kashuk one from target and it's only around $15 and it works really well:)

  • ohh dear...i am glad you didnt saw me today use my stippling brush since i just did it the wrong way,of course, thanks a million, looking forward to do my makeup tommorow;))

  • @SOJUxGURL The Sigma stippling brush isn't that great. Try the Sephora stippling brush. It's the best one I've used. (:

  • SO. MUCH. WINKING.

    i liked it.

  • Oh my gosh! I have been dying to know!! Thank you thank you!

  • recommendations on a good stippling brush? i currently own the e.l.f. as i'm a beginner. i thought about purchasing sigma brushes but before i make the investment, i would like suggestions (^__^) thanks!

  • @SOJUxGURL The e.l.f. stippling brush happens to be the worst stippling brush on the market. The brush fibres are not firm enough to use the method that Wayne suggests. You will, essentially, "mop" your makeup on with this brush. Trust me, I have it and now use it for applying moisturizers. However, what can we expect for 3.00? Do yourself a favor, novice or no, and invest in a better stippling brush. Try Sonia Kashuk available at Target for about 10.00. Beauty will sometimes cost! :)

  • I've never used a stippling brush before. Do you use it to apply the foundation, or just for blending once it's already applied to your face?

  • @Violet1974 use it to apply foundation :)

  • I love this tip! it gives a much smoother effect on my foundation!

  • OK, I have waited to ask this but I really want to know: Where did you get the cool mirror behind you? I love it! I also love your vids!

  • Thanks for this! You're awesome, I freaking love you dude.

  • How do u know if to use foundation brush or stippling brush?

  • Loooooove your tips, you're amazing!!!!

  • you give amazing tips and tutorials. i liked the eye wink that turned into a spasm at the end lolo

  • So I need a stippling brush for pores/acne scarring..? Does EcoTools make one? I bought their brushes, but the last one is the kabuki brush. Thank You.

  • @Tangerinez77 Ecotools makes one...I saw it at Ulta the other day. Real Techniques also makes one and it's in the same price range.

  • thank God! finally found you.. im a noob in make up's and i badly need techniques for doin it. your vids really helpful, keep it up ;)

  • i have quite large pores on my cheeks and using this method they are GONE.. seriously! i have been using a flat foundation brush forever and finally decided to give this a try. i am so glad i did.

  • but if you only use the tips it will take forever to do the whole face!!!

  • another great comment; i have been doing exactly as you said, smashing on the face; i will definately try this.

  • this man is by far the best on makeup tips..thank you for doing a top 5 eyeshadow primers!! i just received my limecrime eyeshadow helper and tried it on and this is truly the best out there!!!!!!

  • ahhhw thank you goss! i myself am guilty of using such a terrible method of application :(

  • I've been pouncing my Mat Velvet + with no swirling at all. Will try this light swirl. Is the pouncing no a good idea?

  • He winked 4 times at the end this time lol

  • just found you and so far i'm loving all of ur videos..they are super helpful so thank you so much.

  • Hi.Thanks for sharing. You guys and I mean that in general terms are truly amazing.

  • I love you!! Anything I need to know, you have a video on it! PERFECT!!

  • Just subscribed ! I love your channel ! You're really sweet :) xx

  • Hi! I just bought the new MAC match master foundation and i was wondering what brush you prefer to use with it a normal foundation brush or a stippling brush? thanks xx genie

  • did anyone else notice that wayne almost had an american accent from 0:10 to 0:15? ;)

  • I really appreciate the effort it takes these videos...I know, so thanks

  • Very good tip. I've tried, and that's true. Kisses

  • you look so hot Wayne!!!! thanks for the tips! love you! :) xxxx

  • Nice tip! I'll try to do it today.

  • HOW TO LOAD PRODUCT? Thanks, Wayne! You do a great job showing how to apply the product to the skin with the various brushes, sponge, etc. but can you show exactly how you load the product onto the brush or sponge? This part is not on camera. I'm especially clueless how to get the liquid or cream foundation onto the brush and how much.

  • @saintronan Hi! I'm not Wayne, but I have experience with foundation. You actually don't load the product onto the brush or sponge, because then it won't apply evenly. Just do a pump onto the back of your hand (or better yet, a small palette). If you're using a stippling brush, lightly dab it onto the foundation, making sure it evenly covers the entire brush. Dot it onto your face, starting from the cheeks, then centering in

  • @saintronan (you want to be light with this application, it's easy to put too much) You'll look a bit scary at first, but then you just lightly buff it into your skin like wayne said

    Hope this helps a bit!

  • i love your videos so much! x

  • I love that your videos are so short, more time to watch more videos and get more info! Great tips btw!

    Love your technique :)

  • AWESOME tip! Tried it this morning, the difference in such a small change in technique is remarkable!

  • thanks - great

  • HOLY FOUR WINKS!!!!

  • Great tip! Thank you.

  • is mandy ur mom?

  • hey Goss love you ..what is your take on the kabuki fan brushes?

  • nice thanks !

  • guilty of the heavy swirl, will try this technique next time..:) thanks for the tip as always....

  • OMG!!! Thank you so much for this video. This helped me so much and it makes a world of difference. I was so bummed that my combination skin would look really flakey when I applied foundation with a stippling brush and I didn't know why that was. I tried your tip and it worked! My foundation looks so much better, not flakey or cakey at all, your tips are amazing. Thanks again.

  • Cute. as. a. Button xxx

  • I've always wondered how to use to brushes short of buffing it on like you would with a buffing brush. Thank you! Your videos are always so informative and helpful.

  • Great tip, thank you!

  • love your tips! Thanks!! =)

  • Great quickie!!! ;)

  • i awkwardly winked back ;)

  • can i have your mirror? its quite lovely

  • Thanks, I always mashed too, but now I'll try not to do that. I do have a question. I've noticed that as women age, they tend to wear less makeup. Is doing a nude eye, soft cheek color, and darker on the lips okay?

  • So this brush is used for powder foundation?

  • Great tip! Thanks. I love your quick tips!

  • ge ton stevia faget

  • Based on all my other video 'likes' they recommended your videos to me. I absolutely LOVE your videos. You instantly became my new favorite channel!

  • haaaaaaaaaaa...the wink!!!............love it:)

  • Thanks Wayne! Gonna dig out my stippling brush and try this.

  • haha tinky winky :) love you Goss

  • Enkore has the BEST video on how to correctly use a stippling brush... swirling doesn't give you an airbrushed look, just straight stippling does. Hahaha I've fallen culprit to using stippling brushes incorrectly as well!

I swear the men on youtube know what they're talking about more than any of the female gurus.

  • @WsupppDeborahx I was JUST thinking that!! I think the men just give us the facts and use less fluff. They can put the same amount of info in a 4 minute video as it takes someone to do in 20 minutes. I have fallen in love with this channel!

  • @WsupppDeborahx That is because the female guru's are mostly foolish wannabe valley girls that want to be all "likkee OMG I'm soo LA" They don't know their own ass from their elbow. Elle and Blair (and their minion "fans") to name a few are among the worst.

  • @king2thextreme lol, someone seems to have some unresolved issues... let it all out! hope you feel better soon! :) Once you do, you'll be able to enjoy the things you enjoy, without having to waste your time worrying about what other people like. Give it a try! :)

Great tip Wayne, thanks for the video! :)

  • @LauraHR86 My "unresolved issues" are nothing of relevancy to useless youtube drama. I have REAL and IMPORTANT things to worry about. I just think there is nothing wrong with voicing my opinion, since I feel strongly about a lot of things. Which is a good thing. ;) I enjoy plenty thank you. At least you have put it a little more nicely than what most people do, also it is best to not sound so condescending towards me. I can easily throw that back.

  • @WsupppDeborahx enkore is it a channel in you tube?

  • Thank you!!!!

  • I love your tips

  • i think it was a twich..... lol

    but anyway thank you! :)

  • love love love your videos! And the winks are good too!

  • love love love watching your videos! And the winks are cute too! Thanks for all the great info & tips. <3

  • loved it thank you!!!! i was making a big mistake!! thank you for the correction!

  • He winked 3 times ;)

  • makes great sense, I will give it a try. thanks

  • I think it was a wink at first.. then turned into a tiwtch haha

  • Which foundation do you recommend for oily skin?

  • the kitty didnt really cover with a stippling brush.

  • i have been wondering, why do you have to buff the foundation in? because i have found it looks nicest when the foundation is just stippled, when i buff it in it can lift up some of the foundation and make it look streaky, just wondering if i am doing something wrong, i do it in little areas and dont lay the bristles down like you said in the video

  • is he gay

  • @Dontcallmetimtam Nope! haha He's married :)

  • @MarmellataSuper what a sick stereotypic world we live in. Any male that talks about makeup for a living cud make others be under the impression of that they are homosexual.

  • @Dontcallmetimtam exactly! I just think the same. is because of these little things that the world begins to crumble down. I am not superstitious and do not want to bring bad luck, but I think the Mayans did not have all the wrongs about the end of the world in 2012. The end in all directions.

  • Can you please make a video to cheer Lana up a bit? I know she loves your videos

  • If you looked any hotter today Wayne you'd be on fire!

  • @FoosieFoos it sucks when u dont get attintion from him back arent you :S same way here :P

  • @anita000000ful Oh I don't expect him to reply back to me or anything, I just wanted to let him know he's fit lol

  • Some makeup artist just go up and down using foundation and a stippling brush.

really just applying lots of little dots all over and that's it . Some have said don't go in little circles. I DO understand that there are alot of ways to apply foundation however I'd like to know your opinion on this, thank-you for your channel. I've just discovered it and I'm learning so much. I grown to respect your opinion.

  • I just found you tonight & I LOVE YOU! Your videos are informative, short, sweet & straight to the point!

I love your sense of humor & I'm so glad I found you! Thanks & keeping spreading your knowledge!

  • Love your tips!!

  • I love the pixiwoo stippling brush :) Good tip. I barely rotate the brush at all... just tap it onto the skin and blend as little as possible to get rid of streaks. Surprising how you can get great coverage from a non-dense brush this way.

  • yayyy

    ;);););)

  • Thaanks ;) ;) ;) ;)

  • What if you use a cosmetic wedge sponge? I apply my foundation with my fingers then stipple the damp cosmetic sponge over it. Is there a better way to do it?

  • ugh why are you so hot? like why? *sigh*

  • Agh your cute.

  • Guilty. Now I know.

  • Love quick tips!

  • i tried a tip you posted awhile back with regards to spraying your stippling brush with fix+ (i just use water) to minimize flakiness when blending, and it made a very significant difference! thanks!
