  • I dont understand why I can name like 200 pokemon but I can't remember like twenty or so egyptian gods. : /

  • I like how everyone's clapping and cheering at the end, but nobody's notices that Moses's snake ate the high priests' snakes easily. Illusion is a powerful thing.

  • Well, I guess the Egyptians weren't monotheistic during this movie.

  • Their lack of Set in the song disturbs me...

  • im sorry but when he's naming the gods it sounds like hes sneezing or saying random things

  • ???

  • If you look really closely it says in the bible.

"Thou art playing with the big boys now."

Don't bother checking. It's there. Trust me.

  • @yayayayasmin122 Which verse?

  • i loved this part.

  • im spacing out until i hear

ooh thats pretty" and im like uhhhh

  • When I was little, this scene always scared me. XD

  • the guys singing sound kindof like snakes......

  • i just notice that in the movie :Hercules , they have the 2 assistants that one is tall and skinny and the other one is short and fat .

  • Dude, what are the differences between Anubis and Anukis?

  • @SuperDarkria Anukis is Goddess of the river, and was generally depicted as a woman wearing a tall headdress made either of reeds or of ostrich feathers, often holding a sceptre and the ankh symbol, but was occasionally shown in the form of a gazelle. While Anubis is the God of death, and has the head of a jackal. I hope this helps.

  • @Shadows1203 How 'bout Mut and Nut?

  • @CaptainCretaceous91 All I know of Mut is that she is the female counterpart of Amun. Her hieroglyphic symbol is a vulture, Egyptians link vultures with motherhood, which makes since to me. Nut is a Goddess of the Sky and is known for her beauty and kindness. The myths of the goddess Nut instruct us to never give up our hold on our precious dreams. She reminds us to persevere and to accept the help of others when we need it. Or so I think... Mut and Nut are not my strong points in Egyptian myth.

  • i'm studying history now.. nice to know m all ;p but there were over 2000 egyptian gods ^^

  • This was my favorite song as a child Went around the house singing this, mom didn't like that I always liked the Evil characters lol

  • Nice colors. Very egyptian.

  • "Oh that's pretty" lol

That part always made me laugh when I was little!

  • RA!

  • i love the song but its really just repeating the names of the gods and saying playing with the big boys now. still love the song though

  • @drAgOn18177 no, i just want to speak it in english lol they'll probably think i'm possessed or something XD

  • One of my favorite songs in the movie!!! Thank you soooo much!!!

  • @kayleahful1 how about you open your mouth and out a dick in it

  • Set was actually the 'devil' in egyptian Mythology. Ra (Horus) would battle Set in the morning and win (day light), then Set would conqor Horus and send him into the underworld (night). This cycle would repeat all over again the next day.

In fact, the story of jesus as actually based off of Mithra (from persia) and the life of Horus.

  • I love the parts where they chant the names of the Egyptian gods. :D

  • @bijoukaiba RA!

  • Ra is an eygptian devil so ppl get ur facts straight

  • @LoveisLove1234567 ra is NAWT the egyptian devil hes the sun gawd get UR facts staight

  • @LoveisLove1234567 Ra is the Sun god and was the most worshiped and adored. Beacuse without the sun, the ancient cultures understood that the crops would not grow and life on the planet would not survive. Open a book and open your mind.

  • greek, roman, egyptian gods are my favorites!

  • Actually this song left out alot of them... Bast for one my personal favorite..

  • Completely forget Osiris and Isi btw...

  • this was uploaded on my birthday :D

  • @ilovevinceneil happy late birthday =)

  • I don't think I could remember all those gods.

  • there is 21 gods dat they name

  • So isnt Ra like Zeus? I mean ik they dont do they same thig but on a power level theyre both the kings right

  • @meglolalot ur right but Ra's power is the god of the sun Zeus' power is the god of lighting. But they r king. Srry I don't mean to be nerdy

  • @meglolalot Sorta. Ra was like Zeus but after Horus was born he became king of the gods and Ra went into eternal slumber

    p.s. I'm a mythology nerd xD

  • @meglolalot Yeah it's super confusing :o

  • @DarkPlauge241 uh huh

  • The Egyptians had a lot of gods…

  • @Tripicality If you notice they re-say some of them. I guess so they can make the song flow better but yeah they did have a lot.

  • @Tripicality and thats no were near half of them.

  • @Tripicality I counted 22 to 23 and then lost track. XD

  • @Tripicality they had one for everything :3 i only know a few tho -_-

  • @Tripicality Scary thing is, they have MANY more. They had at least 69, counting alternative names, starting with A.

  • @Utauluver12345 The Ancient Egyptians must have had great memory....

  • @Tripicality over 700

  • @Tripicality Not to mention, that a lot of their other gods are missing, like Isis and Bastet.

  • @Tripicality so did norse and greek/roman :P

  • @Tripicality The only ones I know are Ra (sun god), Sobek (river god?), and Anubis (god of the dead)
