There are still so many faults in the released version. Such as Deplomacy still sucks and they made it complicated for nothing, or if the enemy flees in battle and you charge them with the cavalery it takes ages to kill 2 soldiers let alone 10, thats a bug that has been known in Rome and Medieval 2 and yet not fixed. The Conons sometimes starts to shoot at my own soldiers and I cant stop them from firing at them :S. These are bugs that are way annoying, Need a FIX patch pls!! SOON too.

you are absolutely right! which one would you say is the most game crippling? My opinion the biggest problem is the lack of sea invasions/naval trabsport by the AI. For example, the English islands will never be attacked during the campaign. Also, because there are no naval movement of troops by the AI, some islands get hugh stacks of troops that never get transported or used while they could be used somewhere else. I think the game is nealry unplayable becasue of this...

I play with everything maxed - these issues are not tied in with the difficulty level. Do some research, check the forums, CA has even admitted that they have 2 Major issues to fix: 1) passive AI & 2) No naval transport / naval invasion by the AI.

and if you leave an army somewhere, for some time, it diggs itself in :)

sometimes, it's much handier then a real fort

Incompatibility problem. Could be to do with your running system, or your graphics card. I'd post it on the ETW forums, and they'll be people there who can work out the problem.

Hopefuly. I was kinda hoping there would be marching bands but It doesnt look like theres gonna be. you know to raise morale of all the nearby troops. in the demo theres just a drummer in each unit. I wanted them to march to "the British Grenadiers"

There is an drill called "rank fire" which allows the first row to fire, it kneels, the second fires, the second kneels, the third fires... etc. The units reloading while kneeling.

I think they fixed the the AI system. Pretty sure they hired a guy who made mods for medieval 2 that made the AI much better. I think it will be better.

people these days impossible to please sure the us dint have cavelry but they did have troops that rode horeses and as for the uniforms if most us troops had different uniforms then that would make it lagg more I bet you anything and desining yniforms would take time as would putting them in a game I got a game that is like 12 years old and has the worst graphics and I dint complain so maybe you should try it before you speak next time

Creative Assembly has always featured a sort of Hollywood depiction of history in their games, they have also tended to go for things that are iconic rather then accurate. That isn't a big deal, what is a big deal is that for the last two games(Rome, Medieval 2) of this series battle AI has been below average at best, and diplomatic AI has been fucking retarded. There will no doubt be numerous accuracy mods that change uniforms and such. AI is much harder to say anything about though.

This is obviously supposed to be Bunker Hill...That's Boston in the background...There was absolutey not any such thing as an "American Uniform" ...All of these guys have blue coats on...which was not even the case at Yorktown 5-6 years later...Also, There absolutely was no colonial cavalry or heavy artillery as depicted...this game looks asthetically pleasing, but not accurate for someone beyond a 5th grade social studies education. I am excited to play it but disappointed they didnt try hardr

You already have a judgement ready before the game is even out.

It's as realistic as they can make it with current technology, the extra effort in giving the U.S. infantry all different uniforms would be wasted effort that wouldn't add anything. Also try to remember that it is a GAME first and foremost.

Maybe you should watch a documentary instead?

Unlike rome total war where they just hit and block, hit and block, they roll on the ground the horses jump in the air and everything. Dude i thought Rome total war was cool but this game is going to be way better.
