Thank you for this awesome tutorial. I'm just starting or should I say attempting, to learn this piece and I use this as a reference to check if I am hitting the right keys. Symbols like "turns" and "mordents" confuse me.
@bbdhrggl Hi, I'm really looking for anybody's opinion and please be honest! Okay, so I'm a beginner pianist (like, a couple months) I've only learned two songs: River flows in you (Yiruma) and Fur Elise (Beethoven). I am willing to practise for months until I get this Nocturne perfect. Do you think I will be able to not only learn but EXECUTE this beautiful piece, or should I stop this idea now? Any song suggestions? (Really only interested in classical pieces by really old people... :P )
the best teacher !!!!!! tutorials right - left alone , I think is even better , I am really very thankful to you !!!! you can if you want see / listen the result in my channel . maybe you can tell me if you do not mind enter some hints. and once again many thanks..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) / :D / :)) /^^..
i love your tutorials bcuz as an pianist that's the best way to learn people to play this piece. If you're going to slow you won't be able to even hear which song yo're trying to learn. Tha's why i prefer your training method. Without explaining and this like that. Becuz explainin things will only take your time so great job.
Hi you're doin' the hell of a job with your tutorials,Thank you so much,i really appreciate it. I have a question though : why don't you teach us how to read a piano score so we can learn how to play the musics from it ? i mean i don't have acces to internet every day...
Can You Do a Franz Liszt "La campanella" Tutorial like this? I know is a difficult piece, but if you can , I want to see how is the possition of the fingers. Thanks :)
Do you have any fututre plans of making your videos and narrating what you are doing? I know it is easier for me to see what you are doing and also hear you say what notes you are hitting. It is really hard to tell which notes you are hitting by just watching the video. There are several people doing videos like this and it does take a couple of videos per song but in the end it is much easier to follow. Thank you for all that you are doing, your list of pieces is one of the best on youtube!
@mike77721 anyone serious about playing classical piano must learn to read music. that is why I do not give the notes. if you haven't started to learn yet, i made 3 lessons on reading music.
@t3sture You are the first to ask. One of my favs. But even at half tempo it would be too fast for a tutorial (10 -minute limit). Means many parts, .... No promises. But will add to list.

@TheComment01 it is possible with practice :) tackle only a few measures each week. do you read music? knowing where you are in the piece will help.

@McEuGene007 I watched your video, I think you did a good job. memorized too? wow.
It's fun to compare concert artists performances to note how they differ. Paying close attention to such nuances helps improve our own playing.

@bbdhrggl I often try to add my own note, but sometimes an accident happens, usually when I record .
I notice the pieces intuitive to however, at Chopin there is not easy!! - compared with Yann Tiersen
