OMG I love ur hair I never knw wat to do with my hair .. I'm going to get the products n try it out even tho I don't have a dryer is a blow dryer ok???
@Mr12310dj You can still do them without a dryer. It depends on your hair type. My hair frizzes up so sitting under the dryer really helps with my curl definition. Alot of people do them without drying their hair. Hope you love them when you are done:)
@hardwoodskills It depends. If I don't have to work, I leave them in during the week and take them down for the weekend. If I have meetings, I take them down daily and re-twist at night most of the time. lol
Luv your twist- I am a newbie n all I can do is a wash n go and a puff...I have tried n tried to twist but it always comes out terrible- I am tired of trying;(((((( I might have to break down n go to a professional~
Mane and Tail eventually dries out your hair, especially when you're transitioning. Look for products that contain argan oil, grapeseed oil and honey if you can. It made my hair look shinier no matter what style it was in. I liked the video though. Just letting you know that sulfate-based products make your curl pattern deteriorate and cause breakage when it begins to grow longer.
@MadameBlunt7 I am happy that you enjoyed the video. I have not had any issues with using Mane and Tail. Also, I personally know people with hair below bra strap/ almost waist length that uses it on a daily basis and have been for years. I believe in using what works for you as everyone should : ) Thanks for watching the video and thanks for the advice!
It's me again. I would like to know what style can i use now that my hair is longer? I have salt and pepper hair, and it has gotten thick too! The twist out doesn't look cut on me at alllll. Helppp!!!
@faithunlocksthedoor It's GREAT to hear from you again!!! I think some great styles for you to try are curlformers(you can watch my tutorial on that), bantu knot outs, coils, and wash n gos. Let me know how these work for you. Good Luck!!!
Cute, cute, cute. I usually do more chunky twist and then twist out the following day, but I want to do more protective styling so I can stay out of my hair. Lol. Thanks for the vid. I'm subscribing and doing this today. Feel free to check out my channel as well. :-)
You are too cute! I was looking at several videos on how to three strand twist, and for some reason your tutorial was the only one that I was able to follow!! I'm sort of "special"..Lol Keep up the good work
I'm about 7 months post relaxer and I really have trouble finding styles to do on my hair. I have about 1 1/2 inches of relaxed hair on my ends. This video was great!!!! I'm only 19 and throughout my entire transition process I felt like I could not have beautiful hair unless it was straight. But your video (and others like it) inspire me to cut off the rest of my relaxer and wear my natural hair :) thanks so much for uploading
Hi, I have been twisting my hair since 9/10. I must say that it has grown alot and it is very thick! What can i put on it now to kinda soften it up a bit. My hair gets real crispy. I use conditioner, but still get the rice crispy effect. Can you recommend something ? Thanks!
@faithunlocksthedoor I have a spray bottle of water mixed with my favorite leav-in conditioners. (About 90% water) I spritiz my hair with this at night and then I seal in the moisture with oil. I have a bottle with my favorite essential oils mixed with extra virgin olive oil. Have you tried this? When I was trainstioning my hair would dry out because I was not sealing my hair with oil. Do you seal your hair? If not, I would try this and let me know how it works:)
@faithunlocksthedoor I'd thought I'd comment because I love moisture in my hair. Have you heard of vegetable glycerin? Glycerin is known to gather moisture. So I have a huge bottle, poured some in a spray bottle with water. And spray it on my hair. Throughout the day, my hair stays soft because...glycerin naturally absorbs moisture from the air. Just thought I'd help...
Just re-twisted mine today!! Ive always let mine air dry..thats interesting..i try to stay out extreme heat as much as possible...but good advice

@tspann38 It really depends on the length of your hair. The longer your hair the more you will like them:)
