$4,799...no insurance, you're screwed. Astonished how companies who make these things inflate the prices outrageously to take advantage of the insurance companies...thereby making it impossible for the rest of us to purchase.

@immeemz2 ... Yes, both public and private insurance is a factor in the pricing but not the way you describe. Higher volumes results in lower pricing. However, our challenge as we work towards higher volumes is the consistency in which insurance allows its members to purchase a product that reduces the possibility of shoulder injury (and related expense surgeries) attributable to the traditional push-rim chair. Penny-wise, pound-foolish as the saying goes.
