  • I've never understood why people are SO fucking sensitive about workout routines, lifts, supplements, and advice. I have always done 3 day split routines and have seen great results. If you wanna bust your ass 7 days a week then go for it, pussy. DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANNA DO

    Rest

    Legs

    Rest

    Shoulders / Tri's / Bi's

    This is my current 3 day split. any comments or suggestions would be appreciated

    12-15sets and 6-12 reps to failure. am i doing to much?

  • thats exactly what i do, but im not bulking im cutting so i do cardio on the days in between....but it works great when you workout push muscles one day, then legs, and pull muscles !

  • @lordslayer22 ur doing the right thing man a full weeks rest is great especially if ur training quite heavy lke i'm doing atm cos i've built up strength so thats what I'm doing and i can pretty much beat my prior workout more or less every week

  • Hey Twins, I started working out about a year ago and went from 155-175 in about 5 months. Then I plateued and thought I had to workout more then learned about 3 day splits and turned to a 3 day whole body workout and have made it to 186lbs but i am starting to wear out. Do you guys think the your push,legs and pull workout might be better and not wear me out as much?

  • Hey guys, I really love and hate your 3 day split. I love it because its short, effective and doesn't fucking kill me and because its basically every other day we workout, I absolutely crave the shit out of working out. I hate it cause every off day i feel like a crack head waiting to workout out again haha. Thanks guys!

  • I workout like this:

    Monday: Chest, shoulders, triceps

    Tuesday: Abs, legs

    Wednesday: Rest (Jog 3~miles)

    Thursday: Biceps, Back

    Friday: Chest, shoulders, triceps (same as monday) + jog 3~miles

    Saturday: Rest

    Sunday: Rest (Jog 3~ Miles)

    What do you think of my routine? Should I change something? I'm 19 years old if that is to any help.

  • @Unkalen well you're doing chest/shoulders/tris twice a week but only doing back/bis once a week, that's your first problem. second problem is jogging 3 miles after your workout.

  • aey guys, im sixteen so igot alot of time on my hands, iread online dat workin out twice in one day helps alot, ithought about doin weights in da morning n den pullups later on at night around 6, or maybe reverse n doin pull ups in da mornin n weights later in da day, wachu think about that???

  • @alex1020ify Depends on your goals and your current body shape. Like these guys like their results so they maintaining and were bulking but on another vid they said they wanted to cut so 4 day split would be used. In my case I used the 3 day split to bulk up but now I wanna cut for the summer so a 4 day not to say you can't do it cause diet comes to play as well big part.

    If you're doing heavy compounds movements for legs (squats,SLDL, Hack squat, leg press, you should give leg day at least 4 days apart.
