Any Doo-Wop aficianados know...Was this an original release, or was it a recording that the Five Crowns made earlier (released or unreleased)? I read somewhere (maybe CD liner notes) that

thanks to a shady opportunistic record producer it was released as by the Duvals, one of his groups.

@106732 This was a printing error by the record company. You're absolutely right. This is the Five Crowns who would eventually become the Drifters.
