Everyone knows.. Australia cricket team are the most arrogant and rude human being on this entire planet. And I think there are comparatively lesser gays in India as compared to india Mr. devilsbredren (You must b gay to enjoy those two Indians inne???)
Swear to God - had he done this in India- I'd have fucking ripped this shoulders apart ! Why cant symonds simply go there - play good cricket(I respect his cricket skills) and go home ! Makes life much more simpler - what was he trying to show off anyways? Might? Muscle? Arrogance? I would not beleive it was an act of self defence.. doesnt look like it !! But after all - Hail Austrlians for showing some spine throughout the end !
Why does he have to obey your commands? "simply go there, play cricket and go home"??? Also, i dnt think his showing off; he is clearly reacting spontaneously to a stranger with unknown intentions running towards him. at the least, it was a provocative act on behalf of the streaker and symonds was well in his right to do what he did to ease himself from the potentially imminent threat. the steaker got too close to the player and he deserved it. AND atleast it was funny
dincz - are you a stupid idiot? do you have regular conversations with people? there is nothing wrong with what i said; such expression may refer to both the principal acting himself, or another person acting on behalf of the principal. how a reader would understand would be by reading in context or reading the comment/article/law (etc.) as a whole. its funny when dumb ppl try to act smart. id suggest studying a statutory interpretation intro course at uni. it will may enlighten youi
No, I'm not a stupid idiot - just an average one. The phrase you were looking for is "it was a provocative act on the part (not behalf) of the streaker".
The use of "on behalf of" is not restricted to law. One person representing another is acting on the other's behalf.
You didn't check the dictionary, did you? Do it, or ask anyone who finished high school, and you'll find I'm right.
so you think that a streaker should be allowed to go on the field and harass the players? The Indian players appreciated it, as did most of the viewers. You are just looking for controversy because it is Symonds
I think because there is more of a physical threat to the players. Terry Alderman injured himself tackling a streaker years ago and was out for 18 months. Monica Selles was stabbed in the back by someone entering the court because she was beating Steffi Graff. Monica was out of the game for years because of it and didn't regain her form fully
you right.. but the difference between those two acts you have described is obvious - wouldnt u agree that from a reasonable persons perspective, it would be fair to say that one would be more likely to feel an apprehension of fear to their personal well being if you saw someone charging at you in uncertain circumstances? Unlike insults from crowd which is, although not accepted but expected in cricket?
he does it so casually. that guy got put to shame. just like jacob jones. that kid has got to be the worlds biggest fag. he loves hairy women you know? anyways, roy is a legend. fucked that guy up.
Good win India! I never realised how Fukkn AWESOME some of your young talent is! Australia deserved to be punished for that bad knock. (nice worh Symonds)

Just apreciate it for what it it is - the cricketers fighting back. The Indian team enjoyed it. This monkey thing has nothing to do with it

I didn't see anyone acting on behalf of the streaker. Try a dictionary.

If someone is running at me naked I would be too busy laughing to be scared. You got a point though. Symonds gets frightened easily I guess.
