Billie was only......20......i think here! Not a bad voice,must be said. These days it really is brilliant. And considering the length of the gigs they have.....and the amount.......it's amazing how good shape it's still in. Green Day live 2009 and 2010 were 2 of the best gigs i have ever been to in my life. Just brilliant.

This got me into Green Day. Basket Case had been on MTV Europe all summer and I liked it, but I wasnt totally sold. Then I saw this and I was like "woah". So I bought Dookie, then 1039, then Kerplunk looking for this song. When my search fell short, I assumed it must have been a new song. A year later when I saw the tracklisting of Insomniac. I was pissed. "Lost Inside Myself" as it had been labelled on all bootlegs wasnt on it. On release day when I pressed play I was pretty fucking happy

@MrPrimussucks123 There's an english toiler maker company called "Armitage Shanks" BJ saw that name when Green Day were recording the BBC sessions in June 94. Possibly, they change the name a bit to avoid legal problems.

BJ felt that his life was going to the drain, thats why the name.

I remember watching this live freshman year in college. Everyone was expecting them to play their "new" hit single Basketcase (they even played it during rehearsals) but in true punk fashion, they played not only a song that was not a hit, but a song that was not even released ANYWHERE yet.

@jimibezwik I have to say, the 21st CB drum kit of Tré is the best that he used. It sounds a lot better than all the previous kits. For the other side, Fender basses sucks. I always will love the old Gibson G-3

@greendepent J.A.R, and Good Riddance was also writen in 1994 as well as many others. Billie said a lot of the songs were released on later albums because at the time they would'nt fit on the particular album at the time, but later the songs seemed like it would fit hence why they were released later.
