I live in Dothan. I don't care one bit about Country Crossing. I have not been and likely will never go. I DO care very deeply about the jobs that it created especially in the light of the recent plant and restaurant closings in Dothan and the surrounding area. Spend more time trying to bring some new industry to the state instead of closing them? (and don't give me that "meth lab" comparison that you have worn out. Gambling is a voluntary act that no one is forced to participate in.
I was just thinking that the governor needs to appoint a black man to head the bingo task force. It looks like there is going to be bloodshed in Greene County and the negative publicity for the state is going to horrible worldwide. John Tyson has a lot of characteristics that resemble Bull Connor. I think the world would look more favorably on our state if a black leader raided Greene County. Do you agree?
This is just a pure embarrassment to the State of Alabama. This is so backwoods and and backwards minded that the main topic of this State and our EMBARRASSING ASS SHIT of a Governor Riley that he is worried about gambling!!! I mean get tough and crackdown on Child predators or raid freakin Meth labs..something more serious!! These casinos create jobs and help the economy..nothing wrong with them!! This reminds me of WHY I need to LEAVE out of this state. Thanks Sorry ASS Riley!!!
When I moved here I wondered how someone could legally have a casino. I could obviously see they were slot machines yes I have been. I was baffled as to how Victoryland was operating and if it could why not just anyone who wanted to. After seeing the law its illegal and that is clear. So I see nothing wrong in enforcing the law. Dont just allow people to make their own loop holes and profit. States take years and many votes to establish lotteries. Why should this be any different?

I've never been a fan on this guy, but I do agree with him about keeping the crooks out of this state. Sorry, I just do not trust Ronnie Gilley one bit, nor the leadership in Dothan. Call me crazy, or a good judge of character, I don't care either way.
