Sounds like it. Mine are on their way out, it gets quiet above about 1300 rpm. Plus the tensionsers them selves are leaking oil, such a great design lol.

@hhohydrogen is a drive belt actually used 2 drive the alternator n so on.....

Glad you found the problem. Sounds like your supercharger went into hyperdrive.

Found the problem. My serpentine belt had a big chunk missing from it. Replaced the belt and all is well
