  • Beautiful drone

  • Really brilliant, I love the simplistic nature of it

  • Nice song but please don't act like "shoegazing" is a set of rules to follow, eventually leading to a static art form. It's a convenient label for a collection of bands, not a movement.

  • @Impaktaoff I don't understand how I've said any such thing. I think my comments make it quite obvious that I have a massive amount of respect for this form of music.

  • NICE!!! GOOD JOB MAN!!!

  • Whats that red thing?

  • Woah man.... can i like.... smoke with you?

  • this is beautiful

  • nice!

  • Dude your videos are fucking Epic!!! :')

  • sounds great!! well done!! always very good to see creative people doing sth worthwhile

  • This is amazing.

+1 on the guy who wrote this did actually sound like Fennesz!

  • what the hell?

all i hear is ONE SINGLE TUNE

and that goes on for 5:30 mins

    guitar = silent

    other beats = silent

  • @abledbody I guess you just don't have an ear for ambient music.

  • @abledbody Fix your speakers. Or you ears.

  • @abledbody I did say in the info that if you don't like shoegaze music, don't listen to this.

  • THE HARIY HAND!

  • great stuff man enjoy your kaoss vids. i have one actually on the way in next couple days played my friends recently for hours it's fantastic

  • is that red thing to the right like some sort of tiny mixer?

  • @Honker103 it is a Line6 POD.

  • beautiful!

  • sounds like fennesz.

  • makes me think of My Bloody Valentine.

  • is the kp2 still on sale?

  • That's so sexy. O:

  • why does the intro almost sound like the beginning of U2's "where the streets have no name", great use of the shimmer and reverb effects.

  • This is beautiful. It sounds like what I would imagine the "pulse of the universe" would sound like, know what I mean?

  • nice =) om impressesed...by the way you have most calming eyes..ok dont wanna sound like a creep haha see you.

  • your hands are strange looking.

  • Hey did you do the 16 bar hack on the kaossilator?

  • Ohy! Blubabab!

Check Out the band called Belong... WALL OF STATIC WONDERMENT.

    Take Care.

  • So cool, great music!

How do mini-kp work? I have the Korg Kaossilator but is a bit limited, does the mini-kp enlarge kaossilator's possibility?

    (Sorry for my english)

  • @zenotaddei the mini-kp is an effects unit that can add effects to any input that you plug into it. So in terms adding more 'life' into the kaossilator sounds it does extend it a bit.

  • Just awsome :)

  • The sound you get from your guitar combined with the Kaossilator reminds me of what Ulrich Schnauss achieves with his keyboards: I really enjoyed watching your video and listening to your music.

  • man your fair creative!!from a fellow DJ nd musician respect brother!!!peace out!

  • please explain what you are doing and show your electronic devices.

  • guitar is too quiet....

    great sounds

    4/5

  • love delay stuff :D

  • i like that.

  • minx

  • requesting this vid in stereo

  • Amazing! I didn't know you could get such big sounds out of the kaossiltor and kaosspad. 5 stars!

  • Really cool tune...is it the Kaossilator being played through the mini KP then through the Pod? Then guitar over that?

  • I think so. The Kaossilator and guitar are both going through everything if I remember correctly. Cheers.

  • @psychopath3000 whats everything coming out of, as in amp or........what lol

  • i'm really tired right now, and listening to this has almost mesmerized me.. haha well done man, sounds amazing.

  • marvelus

  • i agree, phil spector's album 'arrested' is easily one of the best shoegazer albums around. nice work, you sound just like the master himself.

  • yah just type in how to get 16 beats on kaossolater and it will show you its really easy lol

  • well done

  • Thanks.

  • Thank you, Man. That makes this thing a lot more enjoyable.

  • How can you loop more that just 1-8 beats with your Kaossilator? I am kind of frustrated with that feature, yet it seems you have found a way to get around it. Or am I just hearing things?

  • If you search for 'secret modes' of the Kaossilator, you'll find tutorial videos on how to do it.

  • You, my friend, have nailed the type of sound I want to go for. Kudos all the way. Love the choice of guitar too, very unique indeed

  • Thanks very much!

  • AMAZING!!!!!!! this is just sooooo good

  • Thanks :).

  • Hey can you tell me how you made the grid? I've installed the mini kp in my guitar and it's awesome but a more accurate grid would make things even better.

  • Search for 'KGridMod' and there's a video explaining exactly how it's done.

  • did u take the black pad off the kaosillator?

  • No, I've installed a grid for more accurate playing.

  • weird but I like it!

  • thanks very much.

  • yeah so i was looking to see if the music i like is actually called shoegazer and then i found this video. it got me all chilly. i love it!

    p.s.

    you're a total hotty haha

  • Thanks :D

  • Are you running both the KP mini and the Kaossilator through the line 6? Or is the line 6 your effect send in your mixer?

  • Thanks for sharing. I'm a guitarist and recently got a Kaossilator to add some layers of sound in my band. Cool demonstration.

  • inspiring. thanks... just bought a mini kp and wandered into this vid. :)

  • Great! Enjoy. Thanks a lot.

  • Excellent stuff. Keep working. (btw, you look an awful lot like Heath Ledger. haha)

  • Thanks thanks. You're the first person to make that comparison... :)

  • nice!

  • Thankyou ;D

  • It's pretty good man... I want to try and make some chilling stuff... I put too many transitions into my stuff so if there actually is a cool sound I'm afraid to let it run almost... and actually have fun making it :P

  • Thanks. I know what you mean - there's always the temptation to try and over-complicate music, when in fact some of the best music is also the simplest. For me, there's a great deal of importance in what you don't say, rather than what you do. :)
