Yes true ninjutsu means standing with a flame in your palms or a flaming sword.That helps for camouflage and sneaking around at night.Also helps the ninja not to draw attention on himself! This good video I learned good ninpo from it now I go complee my studies from Naruto.

a practitioner is someone who practices the skill.
you were never taught the skill therefor no matter what you feel about it, it will never become ninjutsu.
if i feel like a mongol horseback archer while shooting and riding a motorcycle then does that mean i know mongolian horse archery?

Americans can't never know the secret of a NINJA. The flame sword is OK but the rest is just lame, there is still one man in Japan who is 100% ninja, his clan was ended in 1070 but he stills teaches people the real ninja way. Is also use for the JSDF. Japan Self Defence Forces Special Ops in other words military.

A persons nationality has no bearing on their ability to comprehend a martial philosophy, americans can know anything anybody else knows, i know plenty of americans and a good deal of them are very nice people, who dont live up to the negative stereotype. as for Soke Hatsumi and whether he is a ninja or not, its of no consequence, he is a very talented martial artist and practitioner of an art which for all intensive purposes fulfils the concepts behind ninjutsu.

ninjutsu is not about assassination or fighting...
it seems you need to dismiss some of your preconceptions and start with the things we can PROVE about shinobi... instead of the stuff made up during ninja mania.
Shinobi Soldiers here on YT would be a great place to start.

they are doing taijutsu which is part of all existing ninjutsu styles. They are in ichimonji stance during their showoff segment for the TV show or whatever (aka water/defensive)

Cause the people here in this video are half right and wrong. Ninjas dont juggle and put flame on their swords. And the person who posted this video is probably a numbskull. Ninjitsu art is lost a long time ago. Nowaday ninjitsu is just CQC. Real ninjitsu requires the techniques such as running up walls, jumping from hihg distances to the ground without making a noise. Real ninjitsu trains the mind and body to manipulate air. Which these techniques were destroyed along with ninjas by samurais

Wha ti mean is ninjas are trained to do tricks that people cant do normally. For example ninjas can run up walls and jump from the roof to the floor without even making a sound. In order to do that you have to master the mind and body. Ancient chinese skills have those art as well but most of these secrets are lost through revolutions and change in society. You see back then wooden floores of mansion used special wood that even the slightest movement will make a creaking noise.

I got bachelor degree in biochemistry. humans usually use 1-2% of the brain matter to think and to operate organs. 10% is by far the percentage abnormal human can use (meaning they can use more brain matter increasing the productivity). Obviously the brain shows neuroactivity and 20-30% means they have the ability to use those brain cells that normal human can't use. I dont think you have even though about what i said.

I never realised that firestick juggling played such a huge role in nijutsu. I actually always thought ninjerism was shit, but now I see I can play with lighter fluid, breath fire and groom young children, you can count me in.

Hooplaloop, the art of ninjutsu is a very obscure and complicated one. You see, if you want to be a deadly ninja fighter, you must practice for years without actually doing anything real. That way, when the time comes for you to kick some dude's arse, you wont fall into the trap of trying to do habitual techniques like those MMA wimps do. You'll just flow with fight and distance and timing will be your allies.

In the modern world the need for secrecy is no longer so great. This, however, is not Ninjutsu. This is a bunch of YouTube dummies making videos of themselves holding flaming swords. Just like the guys who post videos like: "Hey guys, this is just me using my BowFlex, enjoy!" Real ninjutsu isn't about what movements look cool. In Ninjutsu, the coolest looking person is the one who isn't dead, no matter what it takes to ensure that happens.
