no raymond belle did not create parkour he followed the teachings of a man named georges herbert who described parkour just as it's described today. just hadnt founded it yet. raymond belle was known for his unique physical abilities wile working as a military fireman. his son david belle had been inspired by his father and decided to become just as physically powerful in catagories such as strength, stamina, speed, and endurance. so after raymond had died in 1999 david founded parkour.
heres a comment to anyone whom thinks that only one person made parkour the founders hence the s plural anyway the founders of parkour lived in england there were 9 people whom were all friends who made it now that ur edumicated i will leave
WRONG!!! The founders of parkour weren't from England, they were/are from France. From Lisse, Evry, Sarcelle, etc. Some of the original guys now live in England, but PK started in France.
Nope, I just saw an interview with a parkour kid who thought he was "all that", and he actually really sucked. I thought it was funny and wrote a little script about it. I think it's a wicked cool to watch thoough.
Not especially funny. but it definitely wasn't obnoxious or pretentious, and the chester character was pretty well done :) overall it was pretty well written, the special effects were amazing ;), and chester's video was intense.
that spinny flip at the beginning is sexy

i don't have a problem with your mockumentary, but do u take parkour and free running as a serious discipline?

God damn, this guy may have thought of it too.. But there are parkour videos from 1960's on here. he didn't create it.

Ya, that's why it's called a mockumentary. Not of documentary. Way to be smart.
2020Jeremy 2 years ago
Yeah, David Belle's father created it.
TheRoboNapkin 2 years ago
No, actually it was documented back in the 18th century by a man named Crétin Fini.
