  • aw shes helping clean her cage.

  • Nospanish

  • My male and female rat are fine with wood shavings as bedding. I know a lot of people say it's bad, but they've been having it for years and their fine. Any who. I just bought a new rat. And I'm guessing she has a respiratory problem. She sneezes A LOT. And I currently have her in an empty box, just so her condition doesn't get worse. I wanted to know what would be the best bedding to use. With not dust. And if you could give me a price. Hopefully something that will last. Not paper.

  • The stuff in the video is Carefresh, it's made from wood pulp and is soft and not dusty. It comes compressed in the bag and fluffs up when you put it out, so it seem like you have alot more than whats in the bag and it lasts well. You can get it from most pet shops or order online.

    Hope this helps!

  • @butternutsoup AH, thank you so much? ^^

I'll give it a try and see if she's ok with it.

  • Hope it's good for her. Mine loved it!

  • @PunkStar6661 Aspen Shaving are also excellent bedding and it's cheap, You may mix it with other bedding like Care Fresh or aborsb able pellets. :)
