I remember in the past the "race" between BMW and Mercedes, and still BMW has better dynamics on most of the cars classes, but when we talk about design, let'b be honest, Mercedes has a breaktrhoug, meanwhile BMW is getting out only ugly cars! The only design I like to BMW is the 3th series coupe, the Z4, and well.. I guess that's it! Sorry, but is my opinion!

That's the first, and perhaps the only detail (besides price) that interests me. At 6'10", I'm having a tough time finding a suitable car. There should be a tall-people political party and have a law enforced on car producers; either they make no car, or make cars that we can all drive.

2011 Ford C-Max has 40.8 inches headroom, best out there, but still a bit short for me. I bump my head against the roof whenever wheel hits a hole in the road. Kinda sucks.

the difference between american and german cars is the quality... german cars are qualitativly much better and you pay for, that you know your car is absolutely fail-safe.

american cars are build in mass - that means: low quality but cheap - so every car has its own pros and cons. in america everyone needs a car cause its a very large country and a 16 year old teenager isn't abl to buy even a VW golf - thats why american concerns only produce cheap cars, that everyone is able to buy one.

If you want a better comparison, look at the 2011 mustang GT vs the 2011 BMW M3, they have nearly identical specs and according to car and driver, very close handling capabilities, yet the mustang premium GT is still $20000 less than the M3.

Your enginges start @ 6 cylinders but nearly none of them (stock) can beat a rather "small" 4cylinder turbocharged stock engine from a german manufacturer.
