Games In Review: Marvel vs Capcom 2

There's no reason why there shouldn't be a Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, there are so many Marvel and Capcom characters I wanted to see in the second game, like the Fantastic Four, Zero, Ghost Rider, Hsien-ko, there really needs to be one.

Erm Ironman would destroy megaman. Ironman has fought people who would kill Megaman on a whim like Thor. He has blown Mountains to bits, and with some armor he has amped his strength level to be able to lift 175 tons. He can fly around at 200 miles per hour. Ironman is FAR superior in terms of fire power, strength, and speed.

they are both super powered beings, but magneto once beat apocalypse, (not the easy game version, the tough comics version) and bison would be beaten by apocalypse. i do agree with you (in-game only) that a good player using bison could beat the pants off of a good player using magneto.

Seriously, the game is famous for being almost impossible to get for under $80 so people know it's good, not to mention all the years of completely justified hype . And if you're having that many problems online, it's because a lot of people have about a decade of experience with this game. So don't for one second expect to be the immediate best.

An severely unbalanced roster, multiple characters with at least one unblockable or infinite combo, very little option for strategy (I'm sorry but MvC2 9 times out of 10 is super offensive rushdown and hardly any defensive play, let alone counter play). If you want a fighting game that really does have a lot to it, play CvS2.

Because it seems with that many characters, you have work to master them all. I've emulated the origonal arcade version and that's what I've had the most fun doing; was playing all the characters and figuring out what my best team was. But playing 3 characters over 2, with a much larger roster... there's a lot to do there.

Which is very true, however most people... at least on a competitive level, play with only a few characters because of how unbalanced the game is. I personally love playing with a Sakura, Spider-Man and Juggernaut team or throw Ryu, Ken or Akuma into my team, but unfortunately 'll get wiped by most players who use the better characters.
