@Irishloveprince you dont have to be black to enjoy music. Im white and been a rap fan since i was 11, im 30 now. I enjoy all music if its good. Music has no colors. This song is a classic and was one of the first rap songs i hear and was on my first custom tape i used to make as a kid with my favorite songs. Infact just the other day i found that tape and it still works, the audio at times slows and speeds up, but heck its a tape, but hell it works!!!!
God this brings back memories for me, i was 11 years old, and this dude moved down the road from Panama City and he introduced me to rap, and man this was one of the first songs i was into. Soon after i discovered Bone Thugs, and to this day Bone Thugs is one of the few rap artists i can listen to. But this shit brings back memories. Todays music blows, this was true feel good music. Todays music is all corporate bullshit.
Ohhhhh Man!!!! 19 yrs old, my first car and this tape!!!! Ditty was played in my car for almost 2 months straight!! I'm trying to get my son to listen to a lil bit of ole schol, especially this song, man. Now it's on the ipod for after supper walk...hahaha. it's ok tho...lol
Rap today is so watered down. No substance or content. No style, and every album is loaded up with guests. Back in the day the artist had to sell the album on their own talent alone. Lil Wayne? Drake? Please. What the hell happened?!
Perfect example of true hip hop.. this guy expressinf himself with a beat that made every want to dance to this song.. And no stuped back up dancers or a mention of clubs.. God I live this ! And I'm not even black . Lol
this is what rap/hip hop use to be like, now only thing peoples are talking about is i got this and that, money, cars, bump that we all have cars and money of sum sort, lmao
i like this song cos it reminds me of my youth; also i like this song cos i often make up "ditties" off the top o' my head, often silly and ridiculous, but good all the same. and w/e i come up with one of my ditties, this song gets in my head, LOL
90's music can replace all this new stuff ever notice no matter how down uu rr uu always go to the oldies nn make them the NEW :) thumbs up if u agree
