This reminds me of something my friend used to have, which was a Barbie Strawberry Shortcake kitchen set... Do you know anything about it? I think it could bake real, small cakes. I'm not sure though...

I think in 10, or 20 years things like this would be huge collector's items if they wouldn't paint them that hideous pastel pink and blue. If the kitchen, the dream house, etc were realistically painted, I think adult collectors would be buying them up, more for themselves than their kids.And the kids would enjoy them too.

I had a kitchen in about 87 - 89 it had a microwave,dishwasher and small plates and silver cutlery etc. I saw it on ebay once unopened I wish I bought it now. I also lost everything for my barbies which I really regret.

I still have this one. Somebody stole the groceries and a few pots and pans. Not all though. They did not know about barbie's secret compartment! :) I need to re-buy the groceries.

The stickers have peeled off, a bit, the oven and stove still work.

It does smell like vanilla. :)
