@Soranul you do know that will never exist because it comes from the frist Eve Book where the princess(now queen of the amarr) gets from a terran artifact and in fact uses it to exhaustion and almost dies in the process. (because its a suicide weapon that uses the shields of a ship against the ship including the person firing it)

I want to play this game. I want to enjoy this game, the concept is amazing.

But im not an accountant and i don't want to wait 5 years to build a crazy huge ship to have it blown up in 5 min.

Ships can collide with each other in eve? last time I checked, I was able to go through planets :D this video is misleading you cant "kamikaze" your ship into another! :P

For those wondering what that Abaddon used, it's in the book Empyrean Age. It is an ancient Jovian Superweapon that Jamyl Sarum (current ruler of Amarr) Used on a Minmatar fleet that was trying to save Minmatar slave on one of the Amarrian worlds. The weapon is so powerful it almost completely destroys Jamyll's ship. It's an impressively good book. It explains other things in the story, like why there was/is a Caldari Titan over a planet in Gallente system.

There's a book called "Eve - The Empyrean Age" and the vid is made out of scenes from the book. I really recommend this book to every EVE Online fan.

PS: The "waterball" is a terran superweapon recovered by an amarrian scientist

That was a reverse engineered Terran weapon fitted to Empress Jamyl Sarum's ship. It turns your sheilds against your own ship and destroys it.

FYI, Terran is the name given by New Edeners to the original human race, since they've forgotten the real name.

@Traumglanz Yeah, Humans are called Humans now, and inexplicably over the time it has taken them to recover on hundreds if not thousands of different worlds with many different environments after the Eve Gate collapsed, they're still all referred to as Humans and show no noticeable mutations or adaptions.

With all the genetic engineering, cybernetic enhancements and technological advancement going on, everyone's still a Human, and look exactly like they would back on Earth.

Nearly all WoW trailers and promos are made with ingame footage. For the more intricate trailers, they use different animations to make the mouths move and to make the characters jump and charge and move and such, but otherwise the models are all ingame.

In fact the only things they dont use ingame footage for are promotional trailers for expansions.

Now Eve is incredibly visually impressive, and i was, for a time, sorely tempted to try it, but the free trial failed to grab my attention, badly
