  • love this song. that slight touch of electric guitar makes it magical

  • 1:07 is such a rad camera shot. super rad!

  • I honestly don't see hear Home from this song. I mean yea, there is a guy and girl singing folk-pop, which sure both bands have..... but i seriously don't hear it. Listen to this song and then Home right after. They sound completely different.

  • I cannot wait for Of Monsters and Men to come to Seattle, WA! Looking forward to it! Going to be an amazing show!!

  • that piano is magnificent!! they are magnificent!! I am really loving my new favorite band<3

  • I love Of Monsters and Men. One of the best bands I ever met! greetings from Brasil!

  • I spent so long watching this video trying to figure out the guitar chords. Stupid Fmaj7, looking deceivingly like C from far away. Just glad I can play this now. I love Of Monsters and Men.

  • the lead girl singer looks like the girl from halloween town.

  • Love the drummer. Put a jean-jacket on that man and Chuck Norris would have a new sidekick.

  • 2 people dont have dirty paws.

  • To all the people talking about how this is derivative of Home. First I will care about what you have to say only slightly more when KEXP decides to host you. Second art does not live in a vacuum, it progress things get taken, things get reused, things get copied but all that really matters to me is that things are still getting created.

  • definetely pressed the snowflake button

  • words are nothing now and you haunt me like never before. la la la wisper to me sweety...

  • 'Dirty Paws' uses the same chord progression as 'Home' by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes. Both bands have two lead singers, one male and one female. Both bands play fantastic folk-pop.

Now please, can we stop the 'Of Monsters' versus 'Edward Sharpe' debate before it becomes heated and ruins the comment section of an amazing video?

  • I can hear Edward sharp and the magnetic zeroes here - Home

  • Замечательная песня:) очень гармоничная:)

  • shamefully derivative... hahahaha the things written here are so... derivative haha. just enjoy the music, a wee fun will not kill anyone.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooow

  • @flowersarealive I heard that you sing well..

  • @mosx15 i wish i could say the same...oh wait!

  • this video has been at 301 views for a few hours and i know its went from 51-64 likes. Good job you guys! blowin up :)

  • at least Edward and company looked like they were having fun...u shouldnt clog up kexp with your tripe

  • @bugalooshimp Well heres the thing bud! They show feeling! The song has a personal, or whatever connection with them! They dont have to smile to be happy! to show the mood of the music with your facial expressions and how they sing it! shows that they are having fun

  • Shamefully derivative. But well executed. So, is it all about waiting long enough so people forget the original sound from which you're deriving your song? Too soon, I guess.

  • Nice music and Great band !

  • really great voices

  • naaaaiiissssss

  • sounds exactly like "Home" by Edward Sharpe!

  • perfect gift for my birthday

  • Love

  • Love. So much better than edward sharpe. That guy doesnt know what hes talkin about

  • listen to edward sharpes song "home"...a bit too similar...i can sing the lyrics over this song in the chorus

  • I will have more of this, please.

  • excellent! loved it...
