Thumbs up if you own a b6 or up passat!!! I recently bought mine iys an 07 2.0t 6spd sport pckg! Alredy have the neuspeed intake(its great) and just did my exhaust :) i got a video up of me driving it for 3 mi afte my exhaust was done lol .. Youtube it its 2.0t passat straight pipe .. Its very nice

BMW's are overrated. I drove a 325i and was not impressed at all. I'd take it over a Japanese car, but not over an Audi or a nice VW.

The Pasat is a good car but for the money the Japanese cars are giving you more.

Another problem is Passats poor reliability scores. This car is good for 50K miles... after that is will start giving you problems. There is no Passat, which will make 100K miles without at least one serious problem on it. The Accord and Camry will do 200K miles with minor problems...

I love Pasats but, they just don't make sense to me!

Look at the newest consumer reports. VW's reliability is through the roof now. The issues are things of the past, they have broken out of that curse, but now as you prove, they still have the reputation.

The Camry and Accord don't feel as solid or dynamic as a Passat, and people the want a German car feel will get the Passat.

Have you ever driven one? Maybe then it will make sense to you.

Yes I have driven the Jetta and the Golf (Rabbit). I liked them. They ware tide and agile but yet comfortable!

But when I checked the cars reputation online, I saw lots of horror stories from previous owners! I decided not to buy a VW. Instead I bought second hand Infiniti, which is bean great car so far!

I have an older model I35! It was the last front wheel drive they built!

Check out my profile I have some vids of my I35. Although it is 2002 it is put together very well. It is fully loaded (but no Navi though). V6, 255hp, 246 lbs.-ft. @ 4,400 rpm.... the engine is killer. They put that engine later in 2003 to the G35.

the vw passat 2.0t is even faster than the honda accord v6, vw passat: 7.4 sec to 60 and the accord 7.6sec, for that and a lot more reasons ive bought my passat instead of a camry, accord..

Dont even think on the V6 - it is a waist of gas... the 4 cc T is great! The grip feels like a v8 - it is trully amazing on the road as well on the ! incredible. Altough this tested model is very simple. Mine has dual A/C, mp3 wheel controls and the interior is more luxurious. I was not impressed with the interior of this one tested...

Those aren't it's competition. It's marketed as an upsale family sedan, and next to a Mazda 6s Grand Touring or Maxima, it indeed costs too much for the 2.0T and pushes the VR6's price through the roof.

It starts at about $28,000. I can have a number of competing V-6 cars that are significantly quicker and in most cases better equipped.

I don't care at all that people ranked my initial comment down, but it does go to show that people don't want to hear it, never mind even accepting it.
